Two kids, wow! Maybe you can give me some tips! Hahaha. My daughter is 10 months and still wakes up multiple times a night, so I think that my sleep deprivation is only making this that much harder. Although, the diet part is getting a lot easier. I am learning how to better deal with the head hunger. It's just the fatigue that is killing me. I am hoping that as my body adjusts I will get used to this. I also ordered some Candex so that I can do a yeast detox. I figure since I'm not eating any carbs this is the perfect time, and maybe I'll get a little more energy. I have traditionally been SUCH a carb junkie! I'm sure I am shocking my system.

How is today going for you? Anything new or exciting? What are you and the family doing for NYE? We are just staying in Are you having any difficulties cooking the family meals without eating it? Or preparing the kids snacks?

I hope you're doing great.. Here's to a New, Skinny Year!

Wow 2 hours? Yah I don't blame you there! Lol

New Years was very low key for us too, hubby and I watched the ball drop on tv. We are such party animals hehe.

I made all my meals for this week, so I don't have any excuses! Happy New Year! 2012 is going to be a skinny year for us, I can feel it

Hi Grace!

You must have been reading my mind.. I did cheat a little this weekend. I ate some white rice.... oops! It sounds like you did better than me

Did you get your digital scale? Two pounds is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Did you have a good weekend?

I have brushed it off and and am not stressing too much about it... This is going to be a great week, and I mean that in all aspects!! Diet, life, and attitude! We are going to make this a success, and we WILL be in those skinny jeans!

I really need to precook some more food, since I often don't want to make a meal just for me and by the time I'm ready to eat I don't want to wait. I haven't bought enough meat at one time yet hahahaha... It just looks like SO MUCH FREAKING MEAT when I put it in the grocery cart... I keep thinking, I will never eat all that! I will go again today or tomorrow. I have a few days worth of meals left, so that's good.

Anything fun going on for you lately? Besides your diet success, of course!!

Hi Cali! Glad you're here!

Don't worry about your cheat, I ate some almonds yesterday without evening thinking about it, it was such habit to grab some and pop them in my mouth

After getting through two days I am feeling good! I am a little tierd and have had a dull headache for a day, which I am hoping goes away soon, but I don't feel hungry anymore.

I haven't been able to weigh myself today so one I do I'll let you know how it goes, lol. Oh yes I got my new scale! Sooo much easier to read!

I have been eating chicken chili soup for my last 4 meals, I enjoy it and am going to stick with it till I get burnt from it. Lol. I need to get more meat too.

Nothing too fun, I homeschool my kids and go to college so that's pretty much it for me I'm still on Christmas break so I have been enjoying doing nothing right now! You? Is it pretty over there in Boston? I've always wanted to go there!

Hey Grace!

Boston has actually been quite nice for this time of year... No snow yet!! I am originally a Cali girl (from San Diego) and have been on the East Coast for almost two years. My husband is from Boston and got a job offer here, so we went for it!

I am so excited you're down FOUR WHOLE POUNDS!! That is awesome!! I am still at three, but given the fact that I had a few cheats that's to be expected. I am hoping for a big woosh sometime!!!

I am totally new to low carbing... I hadn't even realized that apples could cause cravings. I figured the melba was giving me cravings, but maybe I'll skip the apples for a few days and see if that helps with the sweets cravings. What about oranges? Do those have the same effect?

I made a calzone for my husband the other day.... mmmm! But I stuck with my chicken and spinach. Luckily I love spinach!!

How are the headaches/withdrawal symptoms going? Mine are getting better, so that's reassuring!

I hope you are having a good week and losing pounds!!!

Hi Cali!

3lbs is great! I'm glad your still here with me! Yesterday I was having a craving for a hamburger, lol but I fought through it. My headaches/ fatigue have been much better!

The apple has a higher gi and affects the blood sugar, I have been on lc off and on for years and I knew what that apple would do something to me but it was soooo yummy! I even put a light sprinkle of brown sugar Splenda
I haven't tried oranges yet, I am usually not an oranges and apples person. I just enjoyed the baked apple

I haven't weighed myself today yet, I will soon. Yesterday I lost 1.4lbs so I am hoping I am not slowing down, though I would still be thrilled with another 1lb loss.

How are you doing today? I hope you get your whoosh!
