I use Walden Farms . . . no sugar, no carbs, etc. It's tasty.

Which Wf dressings do you like best, Sassine? I'm trying to decide which one to buy.

Asian sesame and chipotle ranch are my favorites. The blue cheese is "ok"----but it's very thin and nothing like "real" blue cheese dressing---but you still get the taste of blue cheese. Now--for p3 and p4
Maries and Marzetti. yum yum!

I do strict P2, meaning I don't do any foods off Dr. Simeons' list. Thus, I don't do salad dressings except those that can be made with water, vinegar, lemon juice and seasonings.

I tend to do a lot of stir fry, smoothies, and soups to use my vegetable at each meal. It works great

There is a very popular one around here that I believe Biz created, that has cocoa (off protocol) but seems to cause no issue for anyone. It's 3 oz cottage cheese, two handfuls spinach, handful strawberries, sweetener of your choice, 1 tbsp cocoa, and water to thin it out. Blend and enjoy.

Another that is good is blending strawberries, lemon juice, a little mint, stevia, and ice. It makes a phenomenal slushie.

There is an orange creamsicle one posted in the recipe thread that I give two thumbs up to, as well.

Those are mostly what I do. Your meals' fruit, milk allow, sweetener, ice, and a spice or flavoring or two works wonders

Tried a lot of the Walden Farms dressings and most of them made me want to run for the sink...BUT, the chipotle ranch was really good (I just ordered 2 bottles today for this round). I am a blue cheese lover and thought that their blue cheese tasted like glue (not that I eat a lot of glue lol).

I started loving red-wine vinegar with a few shakes of Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and a sprinkling of Splenda. I'm a big ranch dressing lover, so this was a stretch for me at first. I've tried a few Waldens varieties, but didn't like any of them.

Was desperate, so made a ""Honey Mustard" dressing/marinade. I first tried using prepared mustard, water & stevia. After a test tsp full (and the resulting coughing/eye-watering/gasping fit - who knew prepared mustard was so HOT!) I looked at regular mustard - no added sugar or bad ingredients, and just mixed water and stevia to that. The "dressing" is very watery, but tastes way better than Walden farms, which is HORRIBLE, in my opinion! I used it on my baked chicken for dinner, as well.

Thanks, I am also going to try some of those spritz dressings, they are allowed on the Omaha plan so maybe its not a bad choice
