today, I'm in around the 750-800 calorie mark. I was TOTALLY not hungry until the afternoon, which was *awesome*. I had a rice cracker this morning so I could take an advil for my INSANE headache that kept waking me up last night. arrrgh...seems to be better now though.

also...down 2 lbs! well, 4 on one side of the scale, 2 on the other, so I'm going with 2. hahaha! I seriously always worry that it won't work this time. silly, I know.

hooray to you all doing so well, and sunny, I hope you feel better soon!

Natasha I'm trying to make this my last round hence the long days. I'd rather just bite the bullet.

And yes I'm at a tiki bar by the water where hubby is playing and all I smell is food. I would love a drink too, ugh!

Woot! Woot! all my bcf's you are demonstrating "iron willpower" just like Shelby said. See I am not that good. At least I don't think I am because I don't take any chances around foods/restaurants! YIKES-A-RAMA, that would be difficult. Even at the grocery store I am kind of funny swerving around the tempting food like a crazy woman. LOL!

Down 2.0 pounds this morning, so I'm in to the "old fat" I guess. It's the lowest I've been in YEARS! So, I'm smiling, and looking at myself in the mirror like "Oh, yeah, girl you GOT THIS!"

I saved my extra strawberry shortcake coffee from yesterday (I know it's hard to believe there is any left) and making an iced coffee today. The French Onion soup is probably my new favorite! I'm planning on having it again.

Wing Queens, I miss our wing talks, but we'll be there again soon!

Stats:

Start Weight: 198.0
Gorge Weight: 203.5
Day 4: 201.0
Day 5: 198.0
Day 6: 196.0

I'm writing it here because on the DailyBurn I can't figure out how to review my weights. I can see the foods and calories easily but not the body weight. I'm going to check out ************ since my cousin has been asking me to join. He wants to do exercise challenges (ha ha)...

Thanks Ladies!

Jeanette! Congrats on your losses!!!!! Isn't it a great feeling to know you can do this! So proud of ya!

Natasha, go on with yo bad self LOL....

Weighing in at 153...haven't weighed this in 6 years! And yea it was hard yesterday, the smell of grilled fish and fries and key lime pie! Yes the girl I was with, her daughter had a huge slice of key lime pie while I silently wept...no, not really, I was fine...I just told myself, you can have that in a few

Heading back to work tomorrow, ugh...lol... but in less than 10 weeks is Spring Break!

I'm excited the voluntary transfer period is open at work, so I am hoping to land a job near my home. I currently drive 35-40 minutes each way to work. Anyhow, if it's meant to be it will work out!

Anyhow, have a happy Sunday...heading to Whole Foods in a bit, it's not as exciting when in P2 LOL

Adrienne yay for your losses! I take any loss lol

Star, you'll reach that weight very soon, I love milestones

I'm being a rebel and having broccoli. I have no other veggies and I need lunch. Hitting the wall of food making me feel blech...at least I'm not hungry....but I didn't hit this wall until day 20 last round so this worries me. Gonna be a long 25 days....

I need to get some of that coffee Jeanette!!!

Thanks Sunny and Adrienne! All you ladies, Star, Adrienne, Sunny and Natasha are rockin' the scale! GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS I'm so proud of US!

Sunny, I've only seen the coffee at Target after Christmas sale. Good luck finding it. I bet it's available online.

I bought some new seasoning called Mojo. It's sort of lemony and it was so good on my Tilapia I had for lunch! I've been trying to shop the seasoning asile to jazz things up...

Sunny, ask chef hubby to help you think of some help with the food choices! Good luck ladies!

MK - if you are in the market for some fun spices that are excellent quality and cheap, check out Penzeys.com. They sell very small containers and the beat the heck out of anything you'll find in the grocery store. I love their lemon pepper, shallot pepper, fox point, greek, chili 9000, mural of flavor (love that name!), italian seasoning, onion powders (both toasted and plain)... Obviously I could go on and on! But they really ARE fabulous!

I can't remember if it's Natasha or Sunny whose husband is a chef, but generally speaking chefs LOVE these spices because the quality is so good.

Yup hubby orders from Penzeys

He was a chef for 10 years but now has his own business in air conditioning and doing very well

He also gets spices from an organic farmer that has a co-op.

Jeanette hubby makes his own mojo spice, very common in Hispanic cooking (pronounced moe-hoe lol) it's vinegar, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, minced onions, and olive oil. If you want the actual recipe I can see when he makes it and approximate. He also roasts a pork and uses the juice from that in his mojo. We aren't Cuban, but living in South Florida you have Cuban food all around so we learned how to make a Cuban sandwhich using home made mojo. So yummy
Now us Puerto Ricans use Adobo...I buy the Goya brand with pepper in it...soooooo awesome

I had about 2 cups of broccoli for lunch with grilled chicken, we shall see the scale tomorrow! It was yummy...having baked cod for dinner, hubby is making a spice rub for me with cabbage salad.

I do need some drink ideas...I hate the taste of tea unless it is flavored...

So weird...wasn't hungry tonight. The french onion soup was super delicious. I took the time to carmelize the onions really well, and even added some Ideal white sugar substitute. I could've eaten just the onions.

I just ate because I don't want to be light-headed. I made grilled chicken and dipped it into Emeril's wing sauce, with steamed fresh asparagus, sprayed with butter-flavored sprayed and touch of sea salt. Super delicious!

I've only had 515 calories today. I used 1/2 tablespoon of cream. I'm saving the other half just in case I get the munchies tonight.

I've been watching Dexter all day. That show is madness!

Gotta take a shower and get set for the evening. Already got lunch made for tomorrow, so that's out of the way. My daughter does not like chicken, and very little fish, so I've made her beef and ground turkey, and I told her to eat a boiled egg, and she's doing great. She's such a picky eater too, so it has been difficult for her to adjust, but she is definitely losing...

Thanks for all the great support ya'll!!! I'm definitely checking Penzey's and avoiding Pinterest!

Your stats are M-azing! Hang in there, you are getting closer every day. You are going in the right direction! I have a long journey ahead myself. But how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! I mean I want it off fast too, but I want to learn for the first time in my life how to maintain! I maintained during Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I'm soooooo excited about that!

Sending you some cyberhugs! You're rockin' it girl!

I was bad today. I cooked for DH. I feel bad b/c when I'm eating a certain way, well he misses his home cooked breakfast esp since he hardly gets any good food over the road. He also tells ppl he loves it when I'm on my diet he gets tilapia, shrimp, fresh cocktail sauce & spinach! LOL We had that already and it's not one of the more filling meals to me so I decided to fix him some other stuff.

For brunch I made him scrambled egg/cheese/bacon sammies w/ his miracle whip (YUCK) and cheese grits on the side. Then tonight I sauteed spinach w/ garlic & evoo (HIS FAV) along with open face philly cheese steak saute w/ onions/peppers/jalapenos! He's happier than a dog covering up XXX LMAO - (his saying not mine)!

Anyway, I was bad. That bacon was well just laying there so I ate a piece! I feel ashamed but it was only 1 piece. Last round I ate some of his fried chicken skin so I guess it's comparable! BAD ME BAD ME Just needed to vent.

He watched Chopped all day with me! (He recorded the Falcon's game which sucked anyway and now he's watching the other one.) He's heading back to work tomorrow - I THINK...He keeps saying he's going to call his dispatcher but hasn't. He's been home since Dec 23rd! I tend not to be as tempted when he's not here. Plus pinning amazing foods all day on pinterest hasn't helped either! I need help! Back to work tomorrow which means less time on the net looking at ooey gooey recipes!

Anywhoo...Had my P2 chili for dinner & my garlic melbas prior and having strawberries shortly. Night Girlies!

Everyone is doing great!
Sunny, I'm right behind you on the weigh-ins. I was at 154.6 this morning, started at 160. Day 8, height 5'7". I'm sort of challenging myself to stay the course and try to keep up with you. Anything it takes to keep the motivation going, right?

Sleepy - sometimes for me, the weekends are easier, 'cause I'm more relaxed and not stressed out as on workdays. I remember last round, I had larger losses on days I was not working - I'm sure it's because I'm more relaxed, because I eat the same calories every day. Anyone else find this to be true?

I'm starting P2 again after my 3 weeks off. I only lost 13 lbs during my first 30 day round, so i'm hoping i'm more successfull this round. I gained 3 lbs during my 3 weeks off, and not sure how or why i didnt gain more than that. Sat. and sunday (today) were my load days, but in truth i've been loading since NYE. Anyone else starting tomorrow? I'm excited.

Morning Ladies!

VLCD8 and gained .5 pound so no more BACON for me!
I also don't drink near as much water on the weekends and on my 2 work at home days. So hopefully today/tomorrow I can get my body rehydrated!

Have a GREAT day!

Oh i have alot more to lose so i am doing short rounds 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
i should be done by the fall

i did up my dose yesterday and it seemed to help
just that "head hunger" to deal with while being unactive and lying around watching movies
so much easier during the weekday when im working and everything is scheduled out

Morning ladies!

Today is my 1st stayed the same day. It is also my official end of VLCD week 1. So, I lost 8# on week 1. I am not going to complain. Of course, I wish it was more, who doesn't right? LOL

In week 2 I am hoping for at least 5#. I know the losses tend to slow. I am still aiming strong!

Jeanette - Being NOT hungry ROCKS! Is there a recipe in here for this French Onion? I wanna try it as FO Soup is one of my faves! Great job on just easing right into P2. And glad to hear your daughter is losing well too!

Sleepy - GREAT and I mean GREAT first week! And great start on this week too! Keep on truckin'! You are doing soooooo AMAZING! Have you been doing the 3 wk on 3 wk off all along?

Baileys, Sunny and Abby - keep on keepin on! Some days are just a little more challenging than others with either the scale, boredom, hunger or just plain needing to shake things up. Having 1 slice of bacon on a rough day is not the worst thing, right Bailey's? You just start fresh today!

jsd - welcome!!

Have a great day ladies!
