Stayed the same this morning....

Do you guys "feel" a wooooosssshhhhhh when it happens? I swear I do. Strangest feeling in the world.

So....when we decide to end P2....I will probably continue to post here. I KNOW I NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE WHEN THE GREEN LIGHT TURNS ON FOR MORE FOOD.

I am patiently waiting for my new recumbent exercize bike to be delivered. I got a Nordic Track from Sears for Christmas. They pushed the delivery date back to jan/28th. WTH !!!! It's a LONG STORY BUT.....I can see why some SEARS are being closed around the country. Then in Sundays paper, it went on sale AGAIN for $50 less than what I paid. SO.....I went out and thought I'd just complicate the situation a little more by making them give me a price adjustment on a bike I do NOT even possess yet. YEA!!!!

I always loved the exersize bike. I know there a LOT more efficient methods to do....but there is a lot to be said about reading and riding. For me....it's MY TIME. MY way to reduce stress....and lord knows, I have alot of that !!!!

well....gotta go....have a great day everyone !!!!

g-ma- don't be afraid to buy a carton of pure egg whites. the plan says 1 whole egg + 3 egg whites = your protein portion. now that would be a substantial breakfast. And even if you drizzled it into some HOT/BOILING chicken broth, I'd bet you'd have enough there to have 2 bowls of "egg drop" soup. just a thought....I know you were going to sub it for the fruit, but soup sure sounds good to me today for some reason

course....soup for breakfast...hhmmm....

Jan,great idea about the egg whites and I will subsitute for a protein instead of a fruitI didn't even know they sold them!I stayed the same today too.As long as I don't gain,I'm okay with that You will REALLY be looking HOT with all that exercise!I just wish I could walk like I use to but my ankle doesn't co-operate I would have gone and gotten the extra discount on the bike too I actually took some "cutie"tangerines back to Sam's Club yesterday because I just bought them and they were all dried out.I wasn't going to pay 6.00 for something to throw in the trash.(Sam's is REAL close to me) I really don't see how you have time to get bored!It seems like you would need time to rest insteadHave a great day,Ladies!

Deb - thought you might be interested in this------
Yesterday I bought some round steak. I'm not a big fan....to lean, no marble.
But in the recipe section for protocol, awhile back a poster named Walkingwomen posted a marinade that she swore by. I made it yesterday, and "soaked" a 3.5 oz serving of the round steak in a sandwich bag w/2T of the marinade in it. Fixed it for supper tonight in a skillet and topped it with some cabbage. (I had softened the cabbage in the micro first befor dumping it in the pan). It really was pretty tasty.
Next time I'll cook more of it in a small crock pot to really make it TENDER. Marinade and all!!! I think it will make some fine taco/fajita type meat.

Meat Marinade HCG (walking women)
1/4 c lemon juice
1/3 c water
4 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
2 tsp Braggs amino acids
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
Put all in a wide mouthed bottle, shake it up and keep on hand. Marinade meats overnight.

Hey ladies ... Today was not a good day ... This morning I weighed and the number was the same AGAIN, so I was a little agravated ... Anyways I went to work with my little on plan meal (chicken tenders,cukes, and an apple) and to my surprise, today was Safety Award Day... Even though I bought my lunch, I CAVED .. I was already frustrated with eating on plan and being stalled... Doesnt help that for the safety award the company had food catered from my FAVORITE rib shack STICKY FINGERS ...Im so sorry guys .. I had ribs, baked beans, key lime pie and tea..... Im so angry with myself because even though I was stalled this is gonna push me back further and that makes it worse.. It was so not worth it Peer pressure and frustration for me equalled failure.. TODAY I AM THE WEAKEST LINK!!!

You can choose to do this. 23 days or 42 days is not a lifetime. Done right you can eat all of your list BUT not in P2!!

Stop, sit quietly, look at the picture and decide for yourself whether the "satisfied" feeling after the "ribs, baked beans, key lime pie and tea" feels as good as the stepping on the scale in the mornings and seeing even a .4 drop in weight!!

Deb,I know how easy it is to blow it,especially when you've been stalledWhat I really love about you is how honest you are with us and yourselfI had a good day yesterday but the day before I had some peanut butter As long as we don't give up we WILL get this weight off I gave up on my scale but I just hope when I get a new one I will be pleasantly suprised!I NEED to see some losses,to stay on this crazy plan! tonight for supper I has chicken, zucchini, melba, and am looking forward to my strawbeery sauce thats chillin in the frig.
I like to pour a tad bit of davinci or walden farms pancake syrup on my chicken when I nuke it.(I precook all portions and just thaw and heat) YUMMY !!!!

Had to sit at the house today and wait for the furnace man to come check on the furnace. Just preventative stuff. So....I cleaned my oven in the meantime. This is the first selfcleaning oven I've ever had. SWEET !!!! I never thought I'd be "vacuuming" my oven. EASY-PEASY !!! LOL

Had a nice long soak in the tub....reading some of my book...sitting in the chair with my little netbook...listening to dh listening to some guy on a video on the puter walking him through a motorhome. wait...now I hear motorcycles....who knows where he's at now...lol

have a good evening everybody !!!! stay true to yourself.

Good Morning Everyone....
down .6 this morning. I like it, but I still did'nt have that mysterious wooshy feeling. I WANT THAT....

Every time I am tempted....I think about that "feeling".
Every time I am tempted....I repeat to myself "BLACK HILLS, BLACK HILLS"
this summer I want to ride without the excess weight and the haileys. my summer sucked last year. THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT. At 53 (almost 54) I want to be the HOTTIE in dh's eyes. I CAN DO THIS !!!!!

I don't know if I'll be back on today....friday and all. We do a fish fry every friday. Serve it at lunch, then at supper it's all you can eat. I'm having a bit of trouble with one of my bartenders and she works today. She seems to think it's OK to "only" talk to her boyfriend when he's in and NOT the rest of the bar. I HATE TUNNEL VISION. And she's been told I don't know how many times. Next time it will start with the words....."this is an official verbal warning. Do not make me put it in writing".

Customer service should NOT be so hard to do. I DO NOT GET IT !!!! Wait on someone the way that you would want to be waited on. Pay attention to the customer. Make them feel "PART" of the scene. HOW HARD IS THAT ????

OK....rant over....I feel better now....

Fish Fry!I KNOW I couldn't have a fish fry and NOT eat some fish! Jan,are you going to Sturgis this summer?You mentioned the black hills.We spent a summer in Rapid city one year and went to Sturgis.Beautiful riding area.My screwed up scale say I'm down 1.4 this morningDeb,how are you doing?

HARLEY-GMA....DEB....

Tried something new for lunch today...
1 egg w/ 3 egg whites. (I buy the carton of egg whites so I do not waste the eggs)

3.5 oz of frozen spinach

1 grissini (put in a plastic bag and broke it up with a glass

Now, I did use a TAD bit of cooking spray here.
Small glass casserole dish

Beat the eggs, dumped into baking dish. Added spinach. Added grissini.
350 degree oven
Took about 25 minutes for egg to "set"

I sprinkled salt/pepper/and McCormicks rotiss chicken on top befor throwing in oven.

The grissini was the garlic flavor (all I had in the house)

I WILL DEFINATELY BE MAKING THIS AGAIN.

And I am going to order some of those Capella Flavor Drops from Netrition. I saw a post in the playground where they had a Sizzlin Bacon Flavor. The list of flavors at Netrition is quite impressive. I can see this as a GREAT additive.
