Good Morning I'm excited this morning because I think my scale has finally reset itself.maybe changing the battery screwed it up or something.Anyway I'm down 2.4 and I'm taking it!I'll see what it does tomorrowJan,as they say on some of the other threads,"down is down" EVERY little loss is cause to celebrateThat's nice that you and your Dh will get some alone time togetherMy Dh is only off on Sunday so we spend the whole day on the go,going out to lunch etc.We usually take the bike out but of course it's suppose to rain todayThe weather's really mild here right now,it's been in the high 60'sI don't really have any weight related health issues but I'm on a low dose water pill because of borderline HBP and I may get to stop that if I get 40 lbs off I have a bad ankle that I broke years ago that gives me a fit most days and the Dr said losing weight would really help that alsoDeb,I hope you see a loss today also

Thanks,C'Marie! We've all been down this road before and are giving it our best shot! For me it's now or never.I figure if I give up this time I might as well just accept the weight I am(or bigger) and be happy.I either am serious or not.NO MORE EXCUSES!

Health Issues.....

I have a Benign Familial Pemphigus. We call it Hailey Haileys Disease. My family calls it the "crud". LOL

It is hereditary....and we do not ALL get it. I got it when I turned 30. Do a google on it.

Imagine your skin cells being held together with mortar. Well, in haileys, I lacked a certain dna chromozone when I was born that in essence, makes my "mortar" faulty.

And of course, it LOVES to strike in "warm, moist, folds of skin". NOW....can you imagine how many of those we have?

Not only the personal areas, the armpits..the waist, below the breasts, the "back breasts". The list goes on.

Sometimes I get it pretty bad....but sometimes I do not.

I do know that it seems to respond BETTER to a low-carb diet.

So, I really do have plenty of good reasons to do this woe for the rest of my life.

Had a great day today....took my lunch with me on our drive. I resorted to some smoked turkey from the bar, chopped celery, and a peeled orange. I forgot to pack my melba....dang it. Oh well....

later...

Jan,I did google it and I feel for you Just this summer I started getting a heat rash under my boobs and that was bad enough! I'm sure losing the weight will help both of us in more ways than one! You were smart taking your lunch today.I ate out but had a grilled chicken salad with lite dressing. It's so funny now to watch calories when I watched carbs for so long

Weekly Loss - 4.4
Total Loss - 18.8
Weekly Inches Lost - 3.5
Total Inches - 7.5

For inches, I first measured the neck, breasts, waist, hips, calf, ankle, and upper arm. It's hard to measure yourself though with consistantsy.

only lost .2 this morning.....BUT, I'LL TAKE IT.
It seems when I have beef, my losses slow down. I had steak last night. Boy, 3.5 oz of sirloin sure does not look like 12 oz of ribeye....
That's what I loved about steak day !!!!

Down .4 this morning. YES !!!

Lots of stress at work lately....it's all about January and getting a grip on the calendar planning of the year. I have to get bands lined up, etc. At least most of the events come to us now. And the events that we do ourselves are written in stone. BUT IT WILL NOT MAKE ME PUT A FRENCH FRY IN MY MOUTH...

So.....today I have to make spaghetti sauce for tomorrow.

Then I have pool tonight....IDK how I'm gonna stay awake. I've been in bed by 7:30/8 since I was sick. When the heck does the energy come back????? Maybe in another 10 pounds !!!

Have a Great Day Everyone....Here's a to any losses today !!!!

Good job,JanI think I lost.2 today I go to bed around 7:30 too.I do read until around 8:00 I get up around 4:30 though. My kids think I'm nuts since I'm retired but I did it so many years when I was working and I'm a morning person I still get so hungry during the day! I'm on the pellets so maybe I need to adjust my dose. I've been eating the melba toast for a snack and maybe it's the carbs in those

Hi Ladies! Popping in to see what's up over here! Seems like a lot of us have our own P2 threads!

Harley let me know how that 1 hb egg affects your weigh ins. I might like to do that. It would be awesome to have an egg in the am versus the apple. Are you taking out 1 fruit per day or still doing 2 fruits since adding in the egg? I might be tempted to try this in week 2 or 3!

Good luck ladies!

I usually hang out in the century club thread - peek at progress there if you're interested. Most of us in that thread have either already lost around 100+ pounds or that's what they're shooting for. I do like to stop by other threads and give my "thumbs up," though.

Hi Deb The last time I did this,I would stall for 3 days and then have a pretty good lossThat's great that your pants are loose! I just checked out the thread about eating a little breakfast.I am going to do that.I will give up a fruit and eat an egg. I get so hungry until lunch with just the apple. I too plan on doing this for around 40 days or as long as I can hold out.I don't know why but it's harder this time
