TAKE IT AND RUN!!!! LOL
I'm still maintaining ok with JUDDD. The down days are getting easier. I am LIW +1 at this point. That's with adding carbs in, as well as some alcohol here and there. I mean, I don't eat *much* crap, because I am very concerned about inflammation and general health, why put sugar in your gas tank? But I maintained for quite awhile before vacation at LESS than LIW, so I am wondering if I can be back there or not, or even lose a little more. With starting back to exercise, maybe not because I know that I always hold water with that. I won't stress about it, just will watch the intake nutritionally more. I'd love to ride a motorcycle but with my hip I have no strength, I'm afraid I'd fall off or injure myself.... need a 3-wheeled one LOL.

I didn't weigh, scale is fritzy and I'm over at the in-laws subbing in for MIL after FIL stroke so she could get away a bit. I know I've overdoing it. UGH. Prolly back to square one with JUDDD tomorrow. I tried to do two "medium" days but I went a little off on the potato chips, which I'm not supposed to even have at all due to inflammation from potatoes and bad oils. OY. LOST IT. Too much work and not enough sleep means I lose my resolve at times I guess.

I fell and I'm hurt. I'm trying to do JUDDD with the pain but inflamed me bad when I fell. Grocery store, ice machine, down like a ton of bricks. I'm not weighing because I know I'm swollen. Seeing the chiro on Monday. My doc (naturopath) is out of town. I had one off meal in 3 days, out with daughter and her boyfriend and Hubby. Had coconut shrimp. Otherwise I'm staying away from wheat. And just generally trying to eat healthy maintenance foods.

Thanks, today I have been really sore. I hope this is the worst of it. I got a really bad headache from the pain today.
I weighed this morning, and some of it could be probably inflammation from the injuries, lack of sleep from the pain, and the pain meds and muscle relaxers, but my weight was up to a totally unacceptable level, almost 5 pounds above LIW, and last I weighed I was in my 2-pound window just fine, so it was a 3-pound gain. I did have some gluten-free (but starchy) pancakes yesterday, quite a few. Who knows. I think I came in today about 400 calories. I did a true down day. We will see if it changes any tomorrow morning, if I decide to weigh tomorrow. I may decide to not weigh until Wednesday. I will do a "clean" Up day and another good down day Tuesday before I freak out. |

Hey Everyone !!! I'm back....C'Marie - I pm'd you.
Honeymoon is over and time to repair the damages done. I gained about 10 pounds between nerves and just not giving a dang on our trip. I loaded when we got home on sunday and monday. So....put on another 6 pounds. This morning I found 4.8 of that gone. Maybe some day I will "find my weigh back to goal" |

so....we got our "butts" handed to us last night. I LOVE being busy....but man, do I pay the price. My feet, my legs were pretty achy last night. I went in at 7 yesterday morning and pretty much worked till 9 last night.
One of the radio stations I run on had a company party yesterday in the afternoon, so that pretty much kept me there during the time that i "might have" been able to sneak away for a bit. Fish fry last night was WOW!!! We seemed to be the place for BIG TOPS also. 3-14 top tables/ 3 - 12 top tables/ 6-8 top tables/ and then all of the 4 top or less usuall runs. I finally got home and was able to eat at about 9:30. I really hate eating that late. But, the scale showed a 1 pound loss this morning anyway. BIG HAWKEYE GAME TODAY !!!!we have a hawkeye football club at the bar....everyone pays a $10 fee....and I fix the "tailgate food". Now, that's a ONE TIME $10 price tag!!! You get to eat every game....whatever I decide to cook that day. Today will be wings, beef brisket, chili, salads, nacho cheese (in a pump) and tortilla chips. I'm expecting at least 175 people for this game today. somebody needs to get my padded cell/room ready....I'll be ready for a 10 hour nap at the end of this day....LOL |

WOW, how did the game day go? I bet when you aren't on your feet 14 hours you will lose more weight, more than likely being up all that time and having soreness in your legs is making you retain water and making it look like you're not losing as fast as you are! Hope you are well!
YUP, I know what you mean about dieting vs maintaining. At least with JUDDD I'm only "dieting" every other day - if that! cuz I'm not doing the strict rotations anyway, just maintenance level and I'm not even being super careful about that, but at least I'm maintaining. I did cut out almost all wheat this last week, being pretty careful about that, trying to see if it makes a difference in my joints. I think it does. The last thing I read about wheat/gluten sensitivity said though that it STAYS in you for like 6 months if it's something that bugs you, takes that long to CLEAR OUT so a little "oops I did it again" will start the irritation/inflammation process all over again. Seems so hard to stay strict on that, cuz it's in everything. Oh well, giving it the old college try. |
