LOL "come clean" ha ha ha ha! Last time I really concentrated on loading well I was up 9 pounds in 2 days, sheesh.... this last round, I was really careful and was up only 4.5. *whew* good thing too cuz it took the whole round to get back down to 5 pounds above my lowest! Ack!
Holding steady still P3-JUDDD style. 500 cals without hcg on alternate days is tough but doable so far. I had trouble getting in all my calories day before yesterday; not today - appetite is back. I am tracking calories, watching protein, and getting in lots of water. trying to eat to hunger. Now that hunger is back I'm hoping I don't go overboard. Apparently I could go even 200 calories above my UD calories and be ok, but I sure don't want to test that theory and push my weight up any at this point, when I'm not sure a down day will bring it back in line until I've been on this awhile. All things in moderation, right!? Still no starch and sugar for me. I did have one little taste of the gravy I made hubs last night - really one little taste of mushroom gravy which would've had a smidge of starch - but I'm not counting that. One teeny drop. I'm such a rebel.

OK....time to "come clean"....
![]() When the scale hit 155.8, I called goal. For the next 7 days, I stayed well within leeway. Then....we had a BIG EVENT at the bar. Now, I know that is NO EXCUSE. But I was so stressed out...everything just got "out of focus" for me I guess ![]() I went 2 days without weighing in.....we stayed at the bar in the motorhome, and I do not have a scale in it. BELIEVE ME.....that is going to change. When I got back on the scale it said.....163.4.... ![]() I managed to get it down to 162.2 and then WHAM !!!! I truly do not know what came over me....but I just started eating. On sunday morning the scale said....169.8 I then got the drops out. I counted days and saw it had been ONLY 15 days since I had stopped the drops. WTH HAPPENED ?!?!?!?! So....I loaded on sunday, and monday morning the scale said 167.8. WOW!!! I had LOST 2 pounds loading????? So not like me!!! I loaded on monday also, and the scale this morning said 173.4. Can't wait for the reading tomorrow morning. And this time I do NOT care how fast it comes off. I know I have to give it a full 21 days so.....I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it. I saw Red's new post about her short round.....I hope we can get through this. I had a lot of really good fats when loading. Avocadoes, butter, pecans, ice cream, cheescake, mayo, lots of greek yogurt. AND MORE.... SO....its time to pick myself up and get back with the program. |

C'Marie - Thanks for the info on number of days to stay on round - I too have been wondering what it would do and I want to do another round in middle to late August, so I really need the stabilizing time.........

JAN! GREAT JOB getting yourself back on track. I do know it's very hard!
I'm still under my LIW and slightly dropping but still within my 2-pound window under with JUDDD. Will probably raise downday calories a skosh so I don't keep losing for a while. I want to stabilize, not lose more right now. I'm running out of town for a couple days for a family member surgery so I will check in when I can. Prayers for healing are appreciated. |

I got on the scale when I got up.
I got on the scale after going to the bathroom. (that is the number that counts in my book) I got on the scale befor showering. I got on the scale after showering. All the same number. 160.2 That's 6.2 pounds lost on day 2 VLC. I'm lovin this but......what does a person do if they get to goal....and they do NOT have the min 21 days in for a round? Do you bump up the cals while dosing? so the loss slows/stops? |

YES, Jan, you do the upped protein/veggies (don't up the fruit) calories for the completion of the 21-day recycle once you get to goal. That weight will set right then for sure!!! That's an awesome drop!
Where I am at right now I do not have my scale. But I am JUDDDing so I can't imagine a gain, following P3 rules and every other day a 500-600 calorie day. At least I hope not. My upday calories are only 1784 and I am logging absolutely everything. I can't believe I forgot it in the rush to get out of town yesterday. I should just buy a travel scale and put it in the bottom of my suitcase. Oh well, I will probably be fine. I tend not to eat when stressed and away from home. Usually stress does the opposite to me, I don't eat - but boredom or a deadline makes me snack - well, I have no snack foods with me so I think I'm safe ha ha ha ha ha! I have an apple and a few SF chocolates in my backpack. |

weighed in at 159 this morning. That's a .2 loss.
got a big day today. we have a group sceduled in to do a bar decathalon type of event. driving range, pool tournemrnt, horseshoes, baggo, beer pong, texas holdem. that should be fun. local band tonight. my kind of music to....lol its been really hot here the last few days. more hot days coming this week also. |

stayed the same this morning at 159.
Taking the day off and going riding !!!!!! So....maybe someone, can help me with this....C'MARIE !!!!! (LOL).... when you said you had to up the protein/veges if you do not want to lose anymore and still have more days left in the round..... does that have to be at the meal time? is it just one of the meals? can you just do a 3rd meal of the day with more protein/veges? went a little "rogue" the last 2 days....for me anyway.
Yesterday, when we got back from riding, I drained a can of water packed tuna. Drained, it came in at 3 oz. (my cats LOVE the juice from the tuna cans, so THEY were happy) So, I mixed some wf ranch mayo into it. Salt/pepper/and some red pepper flakes. Then layed it on top of 3.5 oz of lettuce. LOVED IT !!! Today we rode again. We ended up in Sioux Falls and went to a local HyVee grocery store. We bought 2 salads and a sandwich (for dh) from the huge deli area. I chose a grilled chicken salad. It came with blueberries, strawberries, and almonds on it. I PICKED ALL OF THIS OFF BEFOR EATING..... and gave it to dh for his salad. It had romaine lettuce and chicken then......and not much chicken, in my book... ....we ALL KNOW what 3.5 oz of chicken looks like !!!I bought a whole lemon and an orange. I had my little bike pocket knife with me and sliced the lemon ion 1/2 and used that for dressing. Did'nt use the whole thing though. The orange was'nt the best, but hey, I was pretty proud of doing this. Tonight, I had the tuna thing again. I skipped the melba today both times.....not sure "how" that chicken was actually grilled/prepared....I don't like NOT having control when doing P2. And the best thing about this lunch today was.....we packed it in the bags and rode to the falls....an inner city park and had a picnic. Beautifull scenery....even if it was HOT HOT HOT !!!! did'nt take long to get back on the bike and get some wind going again.... Last edited by wishbone; 07-01-2012 at 03:22 PM.. |

158 this morning. so...1 pound gone.
not sure what is going on today besides the usual same ole, same ole. lol I'm going to try to make sure to make time to sit in my teeny tiny lil pool out at the camper. I'm sure I will not "want" for company. I am out of precooked chicken portions at home so....that is definately on the to do list. I could cook them at work a lot quicker.....but the george forman at home does NOT require the lube that the grill at work tends to need. I may go rogue by using the zuke and tuna, but by gosh I will not use the cooking spray....well, except for the egg bake thingy... ![]() Have a great day everyone.... Sorry I'm MIA with family - YES, you up your protein and veggies however you want if you have time left in a minimum round and need to stop losing weight. You can add one more meal, or just eat more at the meals you do eat. Up calories to 800 to start.
Glad you're doing good and were able to take a day off and ride!!!! |

After NUMEROUS mounts and dissmounts on the scale this morning it simply would NOT change it's mind.....159 this orning. UP 1 pound. I think it was because I am full of pain meds. Boy....my back and hip were killing me yesterday. Slept on my back all night long cuz I COULD NOT take the pressure on my leg. Got up at 5 this morning. Have to go in early to unload the smoker. If I had known I would have a crappy night I would NOT have loaded the smoker for all this AM work. Dang It !!!! Last night for dinner I had chopped up chicken w/the wf ranch mayo in it on top of lettuce. Not Bad.....but I think the tuna has MUCH more flavor. C'Marie.....hope all went well with the family this weekend. it was surgery for someone, right? |

well the scale caught up this morning....2.4 down. weighed in at 156.6
I wonder what kind of business we will have on the holiday today....thought I had the day off ....but no. Had a young cook quit yesterday. I guess he just could'nt take a but chewin'. Good kid, EXCELLENT when he started. eager to learn/work....but in the last 3 weeks his work ethic has gone straight into the bucket. Not completing his job, etc. That means 1st cook in has to do it. And that sucks for him that ME, THE BOSS, is usually 1st cook in. No wonder I had a LOT of head hunger going on yesterday. I knew what would end up happening at the end. Oh well.....gonna be a long , rest of the summer, now. |

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. He just quit and walked out?
Yes, I'm here to help family recover after surgery. It's going well. I have a lovely niece I'm spending time with I'm still JUDDDing, although I did raise my DD calories from 500 to 700-800 to get through some of the harder days. That's still at my 45% or lower, which will still activate the anti-inflammatory gene, although it will take longer at that level. |

stayed the same this morninig......well I think I did anyway. scale is ALL over the place.
I havn't felt good at all the last few days....maybe that's why the scale is being a butthead last night for dinner I took a : can of chicken broth 1 whole egg 3 egg whites 3.5 oz zoodles heat broth to boiling add beaten eggs by slowly pouring in a fine "string" a dash of garlic salt pepper when done adding eggs add zoodles and turn heat off let sit for a bit to cool and to soften zoodles felt good on my tummy and tasted good also. kind of an egg drop soup in a way, but the more egg whites in this kind of gave it a "dumpling" feel |

AW, I know what it's like to feel like you need a new track to get back on ! LOL
I overindulged yesterday on my UP day, not calorie-wise really but the fact that I've only been on P3 2 weeks, not 3, and I had some starch. Not lots, but some. I was going to do a clean P3 with JUDDD rules. BUT with JUDDD helping me out I'm only up .2 this morning. I hope to do another good week here and then transition to P4 doing some starch experiments on vacation. I have the calorie rotation thing pretty down. |

I have to try something different. I just can't stand getting on the scale every day and seeing.....NOTHING.
So....I am going to continue this round and NOT weigh every day. I don't know if this will help me or not....but what the heck. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY !!!! |

I'm not weighing today either.... pretty UP UP day yesterday, although I did eat most of my calories fairly early, only a nonfat yogurt snack for dinner, which should help. Doing a down day today. Trying to just hold steady until vacation.

I have been so good all summer long....no outbreaks from the Haileys. UNTILL TODAY. I named it Beau. After my cook yesterday who was a No Call- No Show. I always name them in the summer time.....stress brings them on, and stress usually has a name/source.

Lucky you !!! I wish it were that easy....why isn't it???? I like to think their is a level of skill involved in this job.....lol. At least you have to MULTI-TASK !!!! Not EVERYONE is capable of doing that....LOL
I feel ....just ok today. I hav'nt been on the scale and do not plan on stepping on untill at least friday. Ate clean P2 yesterday and will do so again today. |

Oh dear, up up day today, pizza at class, although it fits in my calories I'm still afraid of the carbs. I try really hard to stay away from wheat also... tummy issues and inflammation. I'm sure it'll bite me in the behind. I am doing a strict down day tomorrow all protein. UGH. and here I was trying to be "good" before vacation.
