hahaha Jan I had a hb egg for brekkie this morning even though I'm on VLCD - it's allowed so I did it! I'll have some eggwhites later to even things out protein-wise. I think I'm down a bit more, I weighed super super early and was too lazy to take off my light summer jammies. I've only really lost 2.4 in the last whole week. I zoomed down the scale so fast that first week that my body had to catch up. I'm hoping for about another 3 pounds before next Tue/Wed (still not sure which day will be my last shot).... I think Tuesday is actually the 21st VLCday but I keep recounting LOL.

up a tad again today....still in leeway tho.
I have been having a few treats that I need to STOP befor it gets out of control. No Sugar Added Sweet Freedom Novelties are a downfall in my book.....MUST ABSTAIN FROM THEM....



gonna be a long weekend. hopefully with no time to dwell on food. I am taking a big box of almond milk to work and a bag of protein powder. At least the bartenders can run the blenders and make me a quick fix....

Good luck, Jan! I know how hard being busy is to maintaining, but then again the more distracted the less munchies go on

down a teensy again - today plus 4 more dosing days then 72 hours then P3 in one week!!!!!!! I can't wait. I usually get really into a "groove" and don't wanna quit but maybe this time is different because I planned a short round. I wanted to just jump off yesterday. So I went a little high on calories, had one more serving of protein and rode it out. Maybe that's what made me lose! LOL I may just go a teensy bit rogue (more protein!) for this last week.

I didn't weigh today either. Decided to have some merlot with dinner. NEVER have I done that before. Counted it as my fruit, still came in under 500 calories. I had had a headache for 3 days running and it wasn't leaving. The wine fixed it.

3 more dosing days!

I...AM...TIRED...

Think I've had about 5 hours of sleep since getting up friday morning st 5 AM.
The weekend was a HUGE success.....record sales on saturday. Beat last years sales by 3 grand. VERY PROUD OF MY STAFF.

Gonna go outside now and take a little nap in the lawn chair. Maybe about a 10 hour nap....

Stopping in real quick, last dosing day is tomorrow or wednesday. Had steak and wine again yesterday for Father's day. I know I'm going rogue this time. Tried on my swimsuit and it fits so I don't care what the scale says anymore. I'm not at my lowest from last year but dangit I don't care about that either. I just want this round OVER. LOL

I am not at ALL familiar with the JUDDD deal. I see a LOT of people have combined it with the hcg tho....must be something to it!! Good Luck with this. Sometime, maybe fill me in on the "jist" of it.

Basically, every other day you do a 500 calorie day (for two weeks in the beginning- then you adjust calories based on a formula-mine will be about 800 every other day after that) and then a "regular" calorie day, mine is like 1800. It's supposed to be all scientifical-like and make your body keep guessing to keep the burn UP, not make it slow down. It's supposed to also be fantastic for getting rid of inflammation. That's why I'm doing it - that and to basically be doing a correction day every other day! LOL to lock in this weight.

That sounds completly "doable"....might have to check that out. I am 2 ponds over my leeway right now...(it was a bit more). Got to buckle down and get back into the zone. Consecutive correction days can be tough tho.


On the fun side tho....thinking of putting up a swimming pool at the camper. We have our camper parked at work To be exact....is at the 375 yard marker out on the driving range. NOBODY can hit the range balls that far....
I think a pool is just what the doctor ordered.

Ya, I thought it was doable too - especially since we sure know what 500 calories is, and we can then expand veggie list, mix them, mix proteins, add other stuff if we want- and supposedly the anti-hunger part kicks in somewhere after 2 weeks and then it's not as tough.

I went to your facebook site but couldn't find pics of you - but the event sure looked fun!

LAST DAY OF MY 72 HOURS !!!!!!
Weight is down this morning, as to be expected, providing me with a little "cush" for starting P3-JUDDD style tomorrow UP day calories around 1600-1800, 1800 is what the JUDDD calculator says - but I don't think I can eat that much right off the bat, appetite takes a while to return sometimes for me after P2. I really hope to not have to do too many correction days - although it seems like every other day 500 calories would BE a correction day. If I get freaked out by it I guess I could do a 500 calorie all steak day LOL.....

Hi Wish!

Just wanted to stop in to say how AMAZING you did this round! I'm so envious! I started with you and had plans to go a super long round, but I couldn't go more than a month and I ended up cutting my round short and going in to p3 and p4. I'm getting ready to start another round on Monday. I really hope that this time I can have results like yours.

Don't let the stress get to you and definitely don't be hard on yourself. You have the most willpower of anyone I've seen on these boards! Be proud! And share your secret so I can be just like you starting Monday! lol

Hey Jan! Today I am eating bacon
Just two slices. I am keeping it slow today. Today is my first JUDDD day, starting with an UP day, shooting for 1600 calories. My calcs say 1800 (1784) so I am having eggs, bacon, then salmon and salad, then 2% GY with berries, and I don't know what else. Staying away, far far away from nuts and very much dairy at this point. The nonfat GY seemed to do fine for me even for P2 as a "vegetarian" option allowed, so I am not sure whether I will do ok with it in P3 or not.

I"m sorry to hear you are stress eating! UGH I know how that is! I thought I had it under control myself awhile ago, and found when "nervous" I was eating, munching. When something "bad" happens, I DON'T eat. That's been my whole life. So I have honestly said, "I don't eat when I'm stressed," and I wasn't lying, because I was only thinking of the biggies. BUT I think for me it's the trying to finish something, projects aren't going right, deadlines looming is the worst. And I run a tax business - always deadlines. When it's superbad, like during tax season, I don't eat. But trying to get homework done on time for my class, or being nervous about something, YUP. That's me, over there, munching on almonds.

I need to make up a bowl of fresh cut veggies because honestly I think it's the crunch that satisfies. I had like 10 oz of cut Daikon radish the other day and boy was that good! Nice, spicy, crunchy. I need more of that for this weekend - I have another paper to write!

Jan,
You've lost over 100 lbs, right? There will be times whern you do something that may not be the best choice for you (food-wise)... but the trick for us foodies is to realize it when it occurrs...and shift out of that mode as soon as you catch yourself doing it.

Nothing and No One walking about on this planet is perfect!!!
We all have times that cause us to do stuff that may not be our "best choice". Cut yourself a break, pick yourself up, dust yourself off...and move on.

This one was amazing....


It may be applicable...or not...but her videos on eating to the "Hunger Scale" are also really great!!! And the book is excellent. I think Shelbyla and I are both pretty rah rah about the book!!

I wish I had read it BEFORE I started Round 1. But even now I'm benefitting from it!!!

Jt.....great posting for the You Tube on WLA - I plan on watching.....I'm just back from 8 day business trip....doing P2 while on trip.......what a challenge!!!!!!!

First two days was easy, so was breakfast and lunches, but it was the dinners that killed me, all the business meals and all my resolve went out the door! Well not all the resolve I still had limitations.
So let's just say I'm doing a steak day today, am up 3 lb, but the challenge also is the week of real weight loss that I missed out on. However, lets just go to the good stuff. One I was more real about food the whole trip, not panicky but made healthy choices and I was aware of hunger, real and imagined.....yes, I did eat more calories but this is a
long journey. I still have some left so I might just finish this off a bit longer than I planned and then go straight into P3. Funny I am excited about more variety, but only when it comes to more vegies and protein sources.....We shall see.
Good to be back and posting. I think we learn a lot about our selves through the posting and how we pick our selves back up and say "I can do this"

Hi Jan, how are you ? I did good on my first UD and today my first DD I still have a few calories to "spend" and am waiting until I am hungry to spend them. I drank some fiber psyllium to get full. I can tell you without hcg 500 calories is not easy. Psssshaw to those who say it is. I've done it before, in the past, and I remember it wasn't. And now I'm doing it again, and yup, it's not. It's doable, but not easy by any stretch. At least hubs did it with me.

So....I took some drops this morning. I think I need the help from hcg to get this "weight creep" back off. I am sure hoping that I can give it at least 21 days and that "life " does'nt interfere.

I guess I just need the structure during the summer stress that is my life.
Going out with dh today on the bike. Will have breakfast....and hope today to do some good healthy fats. I will pick up some gy for tomorrow and some cheese.

I will sit down when I get back tonight and watch the youtube post and maybe some more. I have got to get my head wrapped around this and back in the game. I know I can do this.

So are you counting your time off as an "interrupt" and going onward? A short round or ?

I did my first JUDDD down day without hcg yesterday. A little harder than I anticipated but I got through it. Weight stable ok so far, just under LIW. Actually went UP after my DD which I thought kinda weird but I had chicken broth and once piece of bacon (salty) and also quite a bit of cabbage, miracle noodles, and psyllium fiber so I don't think all that has worked its way out of my system yet. I am doing an on-target calorie P3 UP day today.

marie - i am doing this as a round. I was off the drops for 17 days. I think the max on an interrupt is 14. So, I loaded yesterday. AND LOST THIS MORNING.....WTH !!!! Eating gy for breakfast as I post.

Marie, Wishbone, you guys are an inspiration! Love how you mix it up...learning lots.
After 4 steak days my weight is back to where it was pre-conference.....
Am going to finish my vial, although I should be off in the next day or two.

Has anybody gone longer with the shots? Were they good results?

Skinnywish, I would never go longer than 40-45 days max with shots. Too risky in my opinion. I never want to get to the point to where this doesn't work for me, and getting immunity may or may not be a reality for some and I don't want to take the chance. JMHO.

I am stable so far - up day, down day, up day, and within .4 and under LIW. I have never been under LIW before. I'll take it!

Go Jan, Go! so you're cycling? basically? you do homeopath, right? not Rx? Doing a short round? don't let yourself get too protein-deprived.
