H-Gma - never did get hungry yesterday. I was pretty surprised.

Today for lunch (my first P3 meal) I had ....
3 oz of lettuce
1 oz shredded cheese
1/8 c chopped onions
1 HB egg sliced
4 oz grilled chicken breast
1/4 c Maries Blue Cheese Dressing
A drizzle of Buff Wing Sauce on top

YUMMY !!!! I know that I did'nt REALLY need to weigh anything....but that's what ALWAYS got into trouble to begin with.
It's good to see exactly what 3 oz of lettuce looks like w/ cheese on top.
At work, we use a 2 oz portion cup for a lot of "dips". That is what I used for the Maries.....and I actually could have used a tad bit less.

Having a wonderfull time....just got thru with breakfast. The hotel has a make to order omellete bar. Weighed in this morning and had lost .6 pounds. Not quite sure how I did that !!!! Drank last night....1st alcohol since Christmas eve. The hotel actually had a FREE happy hour for 2 hours. INSANE !!!! I drank rum & water and added some MIO favoring to the drinks. THAT WAS TASTY !!!! I think my "hangover" could have been worse....especially if I had been drinking "dumb & diets"......but I hav'nt touched any pop since Christmas eve (or energy drinks) either.

So...up .4 this morning. All good tho - still down .2 from ldw.
I'll be carefull today.

The funniest thing happened yesterday morning. I got the scale out of the suitcase in the room. Layed it down on the CARPET. Got on and it said I had lost 22 pounds. So....moved it to the bathroom....and it was a dose of reality. NOW THAT WAS A GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT...

Sounds like a GREAT birthday to me! I went to a spa with friends on Saturday and had a 1 hour facial which included shoulder, hand and foot massage! It was fabulous and I could care less that I had oil that may be absorbed by my body!!

VLCD21 for me. I am down 1.2 lbs! Tomorrow will mark my 3rd week and I am hoping for a good loss! I need to lose 0.2 lbs to be in a new decade (its a redo round, but I still want to get there!!). I am 1.1 lbs shy of 30 lbs this round. Really happy about that since this last week was all over the place due to my ongoing knee issue and ibuprofen probs.

Looking forward to either P3 or an interruption starting on Friday morning. We will see how I stabilize and I will make a decision from there.

Excellent work, everyone! I stayed the same this morning, which is almost a miracle. I am too high above my LIW, but I am deciding whether to just call this an interrupt and jump back on soon or not. Hip issues etc, so I understand, Peggy, where you're coming from for sure!

All this talk of spas and pedicures and such I may go get one before I start again!

And I did get your pm, Jan, thanks for the info!

I stayed the same this morning....and I really do NOT know how.

I am a STRESS EATER. I had a wonderfull massage in the afternoon, followed by 2 hours of watching security video and then being forced to write up 2 written warnings for 2 employees.

So, I had almonds, cheese, 2 pieces of buttered toast (made with legal P3 ingrediants at least), a couple spoons of peanut butter........and in between all of this I baked 2 lava cakes from a post in the recipee room. Made these for dh and me for a late birthday cake.

wow....I wasn't even done typing and the puter posted the above post....

Anyway....I think I'm going to do a self-imposed steak day. Just to ward off the impending gain. Hope this will work.

I am a complete STRESS eater!! That is why this round is a redo. I understand completely!!!

I have to say that my hunger has been GONE this round and I am often so busy I have to remember to eat dinner. Love that part of this round, but I am bored....and I want a steak.

well....my self imposed steak day went pretty well. I really wasn't even hungry untill about 3:30 - 3:45 this afternoon.

I had thawed out 4- 8oz flat iron steaks. Cooked all of them. I ate 2, with an apple. Dh had 1....and he'll probably have the other one tomorrow with 2 eggs over easy.... That's usually my routine when i cook these steaks for him. Always fix an extra, and cook it a little "under done for him" so that it can take a med setting in the micro the next day.

Hope this gets me to a better place

Well....you were in your 2 lbs window...I probably wouldn't have done a steak day and saved that for if/when you went outside that window, and being .4 lbs over your LDW is just a fluctuation.

This is one thing I have learned and accepted that you will have fluctuations, but as long as you are in your window...its all good!!

Peggy - I think I just had to penalize myself for the "mindless " eating. And mentally, I do better with a little more wiggle room.

HELLO!

I have been offline for a day - weird - too too busy in my office, from early am to early am again, it's that time of year.

I am doing ok, stable even though a bit too high - trying to keep it a lower high

I have NEVER maintained below my window. I know some have! But not me! EVER - boo.
