So this afternoon I made some sauce. The original post is metga...in the sticky recipee. It's a garlic chicken gravy.

Today I usd 1 can of chicken broth
Onion powder (I was out of garlic powder)
Butter extract
AND....I changed the thickener to gluc powder intead of xanthum gum.

You yield 8 - 1/4c. servings.

I am gaving this sauce on my chicken & green beans tonight.

Hope it does not stall me

VLCD11 and I was down 1.7 lbs this AM. Very happy with how I am feeling this round. I feel like my dosage is spot on!!

I can't seem to find enough little doo-dads to express how I really feel this morning..(wait, 1 more)..

189.2 this morning. 1 pound lost.

And I have a 70% off day today. I should be out of there by 11:00 at the latest. YES !!!!

I'm still up a lb after my pig out Sat.night but I'm down 6lbs for the weekI did learn a lesson however I could have been down 2 moreIt's totally NOT worth it to stray from the planI have to hand it to everyone that can do this without strayingJan,can't wait to see your total loss this morning!

Daily Loss - .2
Weekly loss - 2.6
Total Loss - 41.4

56 days = .74 ave pounds /day loss

This morning was 189 even.

On wed, I'll take some measurements for the REAL end of the round. I'm not sure how accurate they'll be though....hard to do it yourself.

I have a HECKUVVA cold right now. THANK YOU'S GO TO DH !!!

I have banned Dh from the scaleHe's been jumping on first thing in the morning (he gets up first)and screwing up my statsMy scale saves the previous weight for awhile you have to get on and off several times to change it and I THOUGHT I lost over a lb when I only lost .2 I hate that he and I weigh almost the same thingI told him this morning that this is MY scale and DO NOT get on it!Screwed up my morningOk,I got over it and I did lose a little Maybe tomorrow will be a better loss

I know how you feel !!!!

I stayes the same again this morning. Naybe its the headcold. I do take the walmart version of alka seltzer cold medicine. And I think I might have "overdosed" on it yesterday. But, I'm not as congested this morning....

I'm down 2.2 this morning and Dh was NOT on the scaleI'm kinda afraid to change my stats until I see what it says tomorrowI've done really good the past two days so maybe it will stickI went to the mall yesterday and saw some cute sandals and told myself I will be wearing cute clothes this summerJan,did you lose weight in your fingers?I thought about buying a new wedding band for my anniversary next month but I would rather wear the one I got married inIt's too tight now

H -gma.....yes I have lost weight in my fingers. Come to think of it thats probably the only thing I did not take a tape measure to in the beginning. LOL

Down 1.8 this morning. So today's weight was 187.2. This will be my LDW number. YES !!!

So for the entire P2 round...

Daily Loss - 1.8
Total loss - 43.2
Average daily loss - .7448
Total Days - 58

I took measurements also at the beginning
These are where I measured and the amount that I lost :

Neck - 1"
Breast - 6"
Upper Arm - 2"
Waist - 5"
Hips - 5.5"
Thigh - 1.5"
Calf - 1"
Ankle - .5"

TOTAL - 22.5"

But, as I said befor, it's hard to measure youself.

Jan,you have done an AMAZING job!I know you are SOOOOOOO proud of yourself as you should be!So,you do 2 days of P2 vlc without hcg and then you go to P3?Is that how it works?How long do you stay on P3 before P4? Good luck and keep posting,I'll be interested in how you stablize

Wishbone, congratulations! What an amazing job you've done!!!!

I've been bouncing up and down with the same 10 pounds all year. I just couldn't seem to get my mind back in the dieting zone. I started reading your journal last week though and it was totally the inspiration I needed to get my butt into gear. And I'm proud to say that I finally have my eating back under control which I've been struggling with since November of last year. I already feel better! So thank you for making your journey public! I'm so grateful I stumbled across your journal. Right now I'm just sticking to low carb and low calorie, but you've inspired me to do another hcg round starting on Easter Sunday. Hopefully I can have amazing results like you've had this round!

Congrats again! I'm so happy for you!

G-ma - Ok, so it's actually considered 48 hours (when on hhcg) after your LAST DOSE. Your LDW is considered to be the weight you weighed in at on the morning of your LAST DOSE.

So....let's say I continued to dose today, like say, midmorning till mid afternoon. That would NOT change my LDW any and only PROLONG into the day (friday for me) when I can have my first P3 meal.

So....I took my dose this morning around 8:00 and I will have my first P3 meal on friday for lunch probably. Technically, I could eat at 8:01 am. LOL. Not to much for eating in the mornings though (at least not that early) although i could be pursuaded to make some ice coffee or something like that.

Thank You So Much FFNMORE!!!! I'm glad you stuck your head in here. In the real journal section, I have one called Wishbones Ride. I used to post there quite a bit....but it seemed to not do me any good. This section for hhcg/hcg has been a LIFE SAVER for so many of us. As you know, I've done this befor. Not only "lost the weight to goal" but I have done it in "countless many ways". So....I'm hoping this times for KEEPS !!!!!

Just popping in to say "HI!"

Doing an egg day for another correction day. I am NOT doing anything "bad" on P3 at all and still gaining. Kinda discouraged but really don't have a lot of time to think about it, going on remote control at this point with the busyness of my work now. Just trying not to let that be one more thing stressing me out by letting it be out of control. Taking steps about it makes me feel better. I lose with a CD and then next day gain + at this point. Something may be screwed up in my hormones or I may have allergies to something that is coming up as weight issues. I dunno. I may end up back on P2 just to get back under control as I am (with current gain) right *at* a weight I was at for ever and ever, and I think I'd have to be at least 10 pounds less in order to not be trying to get back there.

I'm down another 1.4 this morningIt's much easier when you do what you're suppose to do I have been substituting a boiled egg for a fruit in the morning and it keeps me fuller longer with no bad effectsI'm sticking to chicken and fish most of the time,beef just occasionally.I think that helpsI also don't do the melba.I don't do well with carbs at allC'marie,I hope you find what works for you soon.I know it is frustrating

Down .2 this morning. That makes it 187.

So....I suppose today will be the day that I want to chew my arm off for lunch. No drops since yesterday morning.....



Good Luck C-Marie. You are probably right about your body wanting to be at THAT weight. Repeat after me......'YOU are NOT the boss of me".....maybe that body will listen !!!!

Morning all! Well, I am puzzled...kind of. VLCD16 and I am UP again!! I am up 1.1 lbs today. Not happy. I am having problems with one of my knees and wonder if the ibuprofen I am taking for the inflammation...or the inflammation itself is the problem here. I know I am not happy with the scale....especially since my dosage is perfect this round! No hunger!! Frustrating...and it better start turning around...FAST. Thankful I am doing a short round because I am not happy doing VLCDs and GAINING.

Staying the same is one thing...GAINING is another!

Jan,maybe the hunger won't be too bad Too tell the truth I forget to take my pellets half the timeI usually ALWAYS forget the last onePeggy,I'm sure it's the inflammation that is causing you to retain water,maybe you will have a "whoosh" soon!I hope your knee feels better soon

Peggy, so sorry about the knee, the gain, and inflammation. And yes, ibuprofen makes me stall out and gain sometimes.

Jan, ya I try to tell my body that all the time, "You are not the boss of me" LOL - so far it's one up on me right now! But I WILL PREVAIL!!!!! (eventually LOL)

OK...I am MUCH happier this morning.

VLCD17 and I am DOWN 3.1 lbs. So 0.5 lbs down from Tuesday which is the last loss I had. Its gonna be weird figuring out my losses for this week. I am icing my knee as much as possible and only taking IB in the AM. I need to lose...not gain people! Not going to complain because for the round I am down 27.2 lbs.

I am down .2 this morning. Today is the first friday of lent. I have 400 pounds of fish floured and ready. HOPE IT ALL GOES !!!!
