I had a pretty full afternoon. Went to walmart and they had reduced the strawberries 50%. SCORE !!! I clean them, measure, and freeze anyway so.....that's what I did this afternoon. I also cooked 12 - 4 oz ck breasts on the george foreman. Then bagged each one in a sandwich bag and froze them. Then nade up 8 servings of P2 chili. Today I used ground turkey though. I just like it better that way, and It never stalled me anyway, so...
I did all of this cuz I'm not sure when I'll start P3. I was gonna do it on wed. That would be last dose on mon....eat on wed. Now that you guys are on board again....I may go until Ash Wednesday. That will still put me in P3 when I need to be there. |

I keep it simple. 14 oz of ground turkey (actually I use the 1 lb. chubs)
1 can of Hunts fire roasted diced tomatoes w/garlic 1 can chicken broth chili powder cumin onion powder salt pepper *all seasonings to taste brown turkey (may have to add some water) till cooked. then drain. put back into pot and dump the rest in. simmer for awhile so the spices have a chance to "blend" divide it out into 4 bowls. freeze. when I thaw, sometimes I add more water/broth to make the bowl fuller....lol Last edited by wishbone; 01-30-2012 at 05:42 PM.. So much today to be HAPPY about....my recumbent bike FINALLY gets into my basement TODAY !!!!! I can't wait !!!! It has REALLY been the bike from H-E- DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS !!! I know it's NOT SEARS fault...but it sure leaves a BAD TASTE in your mouth about making any major purchases there. I know you are NOT supposed to do strenuous exercise during P2....but, I know I will NOT be able to stay off of it....so, we shall see how this goes. HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE !!!! |

UUUGGGHHHH!!!!! The bike from HE** is NOT in my possession. Once again, it was DAMAGED in shipping to SEARS. I am goin now to GOOGLE Nordictrack and write them a piece of my mind. I am done with this. I got a FULL REFUND from Sears....even after I had already gotten a cash price adjustment. So, I guess I'm $55 ahead...but still...it was a $800 bike, on sale when I bought it for $579. I'd say that was a good deal in itself. I REALLY WANTED THAT BIKE !!!!! DANG IT !!!!

k....I feel better now. Instead of stressing and thinking about food I wrote the company an e-mail. I know it won't do any good....but it kept me from obsessing....and now it's almost time for dinner anyway.
I've gotten this far without ANY CHEATS (except for pam in a casserole dish, but nobody knows that but me, and now you guys...lol) I'll be dammed if I was gonna let a bike drive me over the edge !!!! ![]() |

So....got my Netrition order today.
The Capella drops I am more than happy with. I used the Sizzlin Bacon this afternoon in the egg bake thingy. It gave it a smoky kind of depthness. Now....maybe you could achieve that same result/flavor with just a drop of liquid smoke. AND, it would be a LOT CHEEPER. But anyway.... I also got some different types of chocolate drops, banana, and orange creamsicle' I have, over time, experimented a LOT with wf products. AND...I have, over time, threw a lot of them straight in the trash. Mostly the salad dressings. LOL. I have kept the chocolate and caramel syrups. I use them to dip apples in. I have kept the chocolate & caramel dips. I like these nuked, when I want a thicker type of dipping sauce. I have kept the razzberry jelly. GLAD I DID. This afternoon I nuked just a couple spoonfulls. I wanted to see how watery it was when heated. NOT AT ALL....and then I dropped 2 drops of the orange Capalla in it. ALL KINDS OF SAUCY GOODNESS GOIN' ON HERE !!!! I am going to check and see if they have an orange type of jelly. I can totally see a sauce to make a mock orange chicken. AND...if you do cauliflower as a vege ( I do)...you could rice it and ....WA-LA !!!...Orange chicken stir fry. I guess I can justify the cost of these products because you use such a measured amount. Hardly anything. I just pour what I think the apple will need...and if I need more...I can pour it. I really hate it when things like that are "overpoured" and end up in the trash. Such a waste of $$$. I am "all about" finding tasty alternatives to stay on track. As long as it does'nt stall me....WTH !!! Not sure when I can do this great experiment....but I'll report it in when I do. |

Big weekend coming up.....Super Bowl. And we have a big party at the bar of course. I have a ton of cooking to do. I don't even want to think about it.
Went to sioux falls this afternoon with dh. got a bike, he'll have one of the boys put it together tomorrow. STOKED !!!! picked up some wf mayo today. Tonight I thinned it down with pineapple davinci and poured it over my cukes. it was pretty good. i'm gonna play with it a bit tomorrow. i was thinking doing a spoon ful with some horseradish. another spoonful with some bacon drops and maybe some horseradish. probably be good on some steak. maybe some franks buff sauce, dip some celery in it. i'm wiped out....took a bath and some tylenol pm's. sleep should be better tonight. |

Wow, great loss Peach-Deb! Woo Hoo!!!!!
I've had a couple days of losses after a very slow week 3 and week 4 so I am hoping to not stall out here at the end myself. Crossing fingers and toes! LOL.....got probably another week or so of shots to go. Harley - I hate my scale.... can weigh 3 times and get 3 diff answers or 3 times and get exact same. Never know! Glad to see you got your bike, Jan! |
