i haven't been on here for awhile. I am still doing well but am planning to do a little tune up after Jan 1. Just had extensive rotator cuff surgery so I might wait till after the immobilizer is removed to start the drops. Iam not sure if it would be a good idea to do drops and heal at the same time. Even if I wait it would just bw Feb 1 or so. Typing with one hand is the pits. I have a new pic that shows the difference in weight. I will try to add it. My stats are about the same. This darn immobilizer has to weigh 3-5 lbs. I weigh 111.6 this am. will probably do P3 with maybe a treat or two along the way over the holidays. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY EVERYONE. Great to see you DAWN.

Thanks for the welcome backs ladies!! It is nice to be back. I have no loss to report because today is Day 1 for me, but cannot wait for tomorrow!!! I have to say it is nice to be back in control--don't feel hungry at all. I feel like I have loaded since Thanksgiving so I didn't want to load for too long, but still have lots of bloat to lose.

It's so nice to see people cycling in and out of this thread as they move through P2 and P3. This is so unlike any diet I have ever been on. It makes the most sense to me, and so far has been working like a charm. Well, except for the three day stall that I'm on right now. But you know ... a three day stall is NOTHING when you've been on 3 month stalls like I have on other plans.
Only a few more weeks for me, then I move into P3 for the first time. I'm excited! Down 12 lbs this first round. Can't wait to see what R2 has to bring. Margarita |

That's great weight loss and I absolutely agree, a stall for a few days isn't much compared to what can happen on other plans. I gained a pound yesterday, but then whooshed off over two of them today. Woohoo!

Well, I had a tough day yesterday. Felt down, had bounced up again, every one else was enjoying themselves on Christmas Eve, wah, wah, wah, Maybe this wasn't going to work for me anymore. Big Pouty Lip! We ended up eating out and I stuck to having a little piece of Filet Mignon and some lettuce. But this morning bounced back down to lowest weight so far AND best of all, down 1 inch on the formerly unmoving hips, 1 on the waist and one on the thigh!!! WHEEEEE!!!! Back in the game for my last two weeks!!! Merry Christmas Everybody! |

Way to go Arctic_Mama! I love those whooshes!!
Moonriver - Well, I haven't gotten the scale to move down again yet. As a matter of fact I had a 3 lb gain this morning. This is due to a planned holiday interruption. I knew I wasn't going to be able to stay on plan, so I just went with it. Stopped my hcg on Friday night. The big gain is due to the salt that came with the ham and homemade polish sausage and other "way off plan food". I'm not at all worried about this gain. It's back to P2 tomorrow for me, and I expect that by the end of the week I'll be down 4 or 5. I'm really kind of excited to pick it up again tomorrow. I feel so much better when I'm on P2. I sleep better, my thinking is clearer, I have more stamina in my Bikram Yoga class, and I really feel much better about the world around me. It will take a few days for me to get back to that. Salt and sugar are my enemies. Margarita |

I know that some of you have fallen off the wagon over the last few days. Don't let it get you down! Jump back on as soon as you can. This program works. That holiday gain will come right back off for us P2ers.
And now that we're past the holidays, it'll go so much smoother. Especially as we approach the 1st of January, and everyone else starts with their New Years diet resolutions. We're ahead of that game. So don't get upset about those holiday gains, be excited! We know the secret to taking it off very quickly and easily! Let's put the past behind us and forge ahead! ![]() Margarita |

I couldn't agree more with Margarita's post today! I'll be back at P2 before the end of this week and I can't wait. Dawn, good to ” see” you
I feel like I've been loading for a couple of months now...sadly I'm starting this round about 15 pounss above where I ended my last one It doesn't feel great and I don't ever want to gain back lost weight again. I have 35-40 pounds to lose so I won't make goal this round. I'll probably load Fri/Sat. I was waiting for TOM and it showed up today. Could I load any sooner or should TOM be pretty much gone before I do? I'm doing 40 day round and hoping to lose 25 lbs (fingers crossed!) I'd love feedback as to whether I can load before TOM is over. It arrived today. Could I load Wed / Thurs or better to wait a few more days? Last edited by halebop; 12-25-2011 at 07:11 PM.. |

On this round I had to lose 12 pounds that I'd lost on my previous round. It happens. A good bit of it came back off rather quickly. Hopefully the same for you! I'm down .6 lbs today. Yay! Still aiming for the next decade. I've got 9 more VLCD with HCG and two without.... And for those who strayed over the Holiday, jump back on. Don't let it become a big backslide. |

Well I'm down about 12.2 pounds to 195.8, but unfortunately I have been suffering with Shingles the past few days and have debilitating pain. Best I can tell, the VLCD stressed my system enough that the dormant virus could attack again. It's made everything harder, but thankfully I have stayed on plan well. They put me on acyclovir and hydrocodone today, hopefully that will manage the incredible pain without making me hungry. They wanted to add in prednisone but I told the doctor 'no way!'.
I hope all of you managed to stay on plan for Christmas. I was so proud of myself - not a single cheat taste or bite. I had one breakfast where I did a P3 style eating to see if the diets' restrictions were somehow causing my pain, but it didn't help and so I got right back on the normal VLCD. Amazingly, that was also the day I showed a big loss to complicate all these issues further I am on my period and thus on my third day of no injections before I start them up again, as per the protocol.
