Just found out about this. So angry!! Why would they pull something that works?? They could market it as anything but a diet aid?
How can it not be proved? Look at all of us!! |

I suspect this is a bit like what happened earlier this year -- the companies will have to reword the packaging, make it clear that they aren't making any claims of efficacy, etc. I doubt it will result in an inability to get the product... but I may grab a couple of extra bottles just in case, while the getting is good...

My brother-in-law called my husband today to let me know to stock up due to this article. Not only do I have plenty of hhcg pellets, I am sure that I'll have leftovers.
This product works if the plan is followed. I would never eat 500 calories without it or LOADING days.I'm on my last round, have completed two very successful rounds before this and really do have the last laugh. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Violet_Dream; 12-06-2011 at 07:24 PM.. |

I just ordered two more bottles of the drops, too. I suspect this won't change anything in the long term (and honestly, I hope I don't need them.. I am nearly at goal now) but I want to be prepared in case they do go away forever

Great. I'm on my first round, vlcd7, lost 13 pounds and now I"m going to be unable to get it? I can't afford to get enough for 5 more rounds that I need. Hoping this is just a blip on the radar. Totally unfounded.
ETA: Here's the ABC Article: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Wellnes...ry?id=15097915 Supplier stating they will basically change the wording. I hope this is all it adds up to. Last edited by Ladybugsy; 12-07-2011 at 05:52 AM.. |

Im going to order enough for my hubby's next 2 rounds and my final (hopefully) round next year. I smell Big Pharma at work here, and quite frankly, it stinks.

Never doubt the power that the FDA and Big Pharma have! Last year they had the Boiron Homeopathic Teething Tablets outlawed and mother's everywhere were very upset! They want us to have to use their Franken-drugs with all their side-effects and big price tag and will keep going until those are our only options. I really HATE the FDA

Stocking up
My twin sister and I who were thinking of getting one more bottle for R2 have decided to get 2 each. I do not think we will need to do another round but I do not like the thought of not having access if wanted. Hope to start R2 and reach goal and then maintain. Biggest hurdle will be, being more active/working out but I hope to start with something I enjoy doing and as my fitness level gets better I know I will enjoy doing more.
Looking forward to receiving hhcg for R2 after failing on last attempt to do R2. ![]() Kendrid Spirit |

A bottle I purchased in May has an expiration of Nov. 2013. I've used it for two rounds, and there is still more left. Ideally, IF(not planning on it) I were to do another round, I would purchase a new bottle.

This is so incredibly unbelievable. I finally found something that WORKS, that was very safe, and I have been calling a miracle.
The FDA approves drugs that have actually KILLED people! Yet they are going after a homeopathic preparation that has not had any major reports of side effects. Just shaking my head. ![]() |

OMG! I went ahead and ordered 2 bottles for my next two rounds. Hopefully that will be it for me. Maybe they won't take it off the market. It's helping people so much!

I'm ordering more too.
Somewhere in Washington, D.C., there's an accountant bummed out because my doctor got to take me off cholesterol and BP meds due to my weight loss. Thought bubble over his head: "Damn that HCG!" |

Explain to me how cutting in to somone's body, rearranging her internal organs (as in gastric bypass surgery), and then feeding her 300 calories per day is SAFER than using homeopathic hcg and eating at 500 calories per day? I know someone who died from gastric bypass. Does anyone know of anyone who died from homeopathic hcg?
The articles that keep quoting the research that found that low calorie diets can cause heart arrythmias ... I followed one of their links once and read the article. Do you remember back in the 80s when people were on the "Liquid Diet? Well apparently some people died from that "low calorie" concoction. After that, research on that stuff was done, and they found that it could cause heart arrythmias in some people. THAT'S where this misinformation is coming from. Hey FDA ... we're not on a liquid diet!! Simeon's protocol, on the other hand, calls for a really, really balanced diet. Granted, it's low in calories, but it's not deadly. It's actually the most balanced diet I've been on in years. I guess the FDA would rather I had major surgery to lose weight, so that I would no longer be in danger. That's just so nice of them, trying to protect me! Thank you so much FDA! ![]() For those of you who are worried that you won't be able to get your supply if our current hcg supply is removed from the US market, when that happens foreign markets usually open up to help to meet the demand coming from the US. I guess the FDA feels it's safer for us to buy our life-saving hcg from foreign countries, rather from our own homeland? ![]() Margarita |
