I get my HCG via prescription so this does not affect me.
But it does seem strange that they are focusing on a product with no side effect but still have so many dangerous products they endorse with glee.

I personally wouldn't use Homeo HCG cause I trust the actual hormone works, and I have access to obtain it. but I still do use Homeopathics for other things , usually when I've gotten to the point that nothing else works. And if it's as claims so little of the ingredient is there that is is "non0-existant" than how can you claim an ingredient not there is dangerous?

don't flame me for saying this. My point is if The FDA says HCG is not approved for weight loss, then how can they have a problem with a product if it has , as they claim, no HCG in it? It's contradictory to say it's dangerous cause it is, and dangerous cause it isn't.

I wish they'd leave it alone, but that's wishful thinking at this point.

This is my last round, but I just bought another bottle to be on the safe side. hHCG has always worked for me, so I will stick with tried and true...and cheap!!

I was told that The FDA & FTC are shutting down companies making HCG that are not FDA registered to do so. All the companies that are registered are making legal HCG and are supported by the FDA & FTC. Not sure how many companies are actually registered.

Ironiclly Intermountain just sent me 10 percent off coupon before I read this...I already have an extra 4 oz bottle, but went and bought 2 more bottles and a bottle of pellet to try, 85 dollars and no shipping, so this should help me get thelast 20 off and some back up also. Always something.

hcgnc - Love love your pup! He looks to be a black lab? I LOVE black labs! They are such sweeties! My Dad has one and he's full grown now, he's such a lover he will get up in my lap and sit up like a big boy - wayyy bigger than me of course while sitting on my lap! LOL I remember when he was a baby lil black ball of fur I'd get down on the floor and lay my head next to his and he'd wake up and look at me and get up and go find somewhere else to sleep! Like he didn't want to be bothered! He would sleep in shoe boxes in the closet!

Thanks, he is such a cutie. That picture was when he was about two months old. Luke is now 4 years old, weighs about 75 lbs, but he's just as much a baby as he was then. Still plays with toys, brings us 'gifts,' we can have him put something in his mouth and tell him to carry it, tell him to fetch his collar, he loves to ride, gets along well with the cats......can you tell we love him?

I don't really get why they are doing this when there are so many legal (FDA endorsed even) products on the market.

The side effects of some of the drugs we see advertised on tv seem worse than the original complaint people are taking them for...but they are "safe" according to the FDA....

Go figure.

I was so up in arms about this announcement. I watched Nightline when I heard the news I could not believe they did this. But then I remembered.....you can always get the Rx hcg I am hoping that my bottle will do me for one more round (that I will start in Jan once the holidays are over and hopefully things have calmed down) so I was unsure if I should order more or not. I think with the frenzy right now homeopathic hcg will be scarce come Jan so ordering now while it is still available is good. But we do have to remember that we can still get Rx hcg!! I have to repeat this one more time......I hcg

The doctor I see once a year for my thyroid was supportive of the HCG, telling me "well if the 500 calories keeps you going, keep going". He hadn't seen me since last year, and since 70 pounds ago, so he was very supportive and happy to see the weight loss.

He is an allergist/immunologist/and strong supporter of homeopathic treatment over the chemicals made by the drug companies. This guy was a life saver when it came to figuring out my thyroid, and I have felt sooo much better in the years he has treated me than through the years "regular" doctors scratched their heads and couldn't figure it out.

If this doc is on board with HCG, even the homeopathic, I wonder how many others are? (I know my husband's VA doctor is, and he encouraged my husband to keep going with it.)

just fyi - I am on thyroid and adrenal meds as well as meds for s*x hormones. My endo actually recommended hcg to me, although in the end I ended up going with the homeopathic as opposed to the rx. I did two rounds, lost ~60 pounds, and had no issues with either the meds or the hcg.

As someone who doesn't tolerate the HCG injections I like I have the option to use the HHCG. While it might cause the same side effects, I like knowing I have options.
Needless to say I bought bottles of the pellets and drops. If it doesn't work, I will if I must use the HCG again.

I put nothing past the FDA when it comes to regulating ohhhh just about anything that big pharma cannot make a profit from.

So now I'm 220 lighter in the wallet as I stocked up on plenty of my drops (since I will be multi rounding) which kind of bites just before Christmas...oh well, a Christmas present to me.

I know the timing could not be worse. We are in no position to be buying extra anything right now. We are squeezing our already tight budget as is to pay for our 4 kids' Christmas presents.
