Hey, girls! I'm back from my long absence. Had a GREAT holiday, full of activity, family and guests here, and four days of uncontrolled, crazy eating. I gained a staggering NINE pounds during those four days, but all but 2.8 is now back off. I'm doing hcg and VLCDs for at least week--started Monday. I'm hoping to maybe get a little below my previous goal of 155, like maybe 153 or so. But I'm going to Seattle a week from today, so not sure how far I can get in that time. I will probably not try to do P2 on my trip. I did it last summer, but I was highly motivated and it was still VERY VERY hard.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I am head back in the thread to get caught up.

I'm up the last two days, too-- but not because I have deviated from my plan... I haven't. I was totally on plan through all the holidays and also my birthday -- just NYE to navigate, and then I have weathered the whole holiday season!

I think the gain is TOM impending -- that always puts at least a couple of pounds on me... but the following week tends to be prime time for losing, so I can look forward to that.

I was hoping to finish the year at goal, but unless I get a huge TOM whoosh that isn't going to happen ... alas.. the last 10 lbs are just really tough to budge.

I have lost a lot of inches though, so I am feeling good in that regard.. and I am proud of my accomplishments so far.

Yo Girlfriends! Good to see y'all again. I've been really busy with shows and with soldier daughter's homecoming, holidays etc. Just dropping by to say hello and say that DH starts loading tomorrow. I'm excited for him...he needs to lose quite a bit, but he's a guy...it will be disgustingly easy for him I imagine. I'm pleased he wants to do it...he will feel so much better, and better about himself. That will lead to a more fun life for all of us!

I've been holding steady today and yesterday at 195.0, but I'm on my TOM still, sick and taking antivirals, with super sore muscles. If that isn't a recipe for water retention I don't know what is!

I'm just sticking to the protocol like glue and waiting out the scale. I know I'll beat it

I popped up a pound and change today from my indiscretions at a new year's eve party last night. Hope to be back to normal tomorrow or the next day.

I spent all day today struggling to get my huge fake tree compressed and squeezed back into its bag and dragged to the garage. My daughter was supposed to come help me, but I'm not sure what became of her.

I'm scratched and sore, but by golly, that tree is back in the garage!
