Good morning, everyone!

I didn't weigh this morning due to TOM, and I most likely won't until it is winding down -- my weight fluctuates too much to be meaningful while TOM is happening.

Today is a fat-fast day for me -- a variant on the Atkins version, but I eat my 1000-ish calories all at breakfast, and then fast for the rest of the day. Hey, it's worked for me a number of times, so I keep doing it

I'm happily well fed at the moment, and am going to be very conscious about not eating for the rest of the day, which should be relatively easy... tomorrow I will drop the fat percentage and the calories, and add protein back in.

I have a tough week ahead of me (end of a grueling semester in grad school), so I will be happy to emerge from TOM at my pre-Tom-gain weight of 109-ish... lower would be great, but I will call it a success if I can just maintain the prior losses, and get back to the business of losing next week.

Wishing you all a successful, on plan day!

Margarita, that sounds like a great time! I love spending time w fam. Maybe u can still make ur usual and make a serving of what u would have for lunch . No one will care ( or probably notice ) what ur eating. I am making an Italian roast with roasted red peppers and caramelized carrots for Xmas. But I will not b partaking. Im so ok w it. This is such a small window of time that I don't want to waste a single day. Plus am sure I have more to lose in a short time.

Mini, ur funny I will have to google "isometric" haha. I am worried with my disc issue I won't b able to shape/tone but if light lifting will do I can start there.

Oh and down -.8 today ! That's officially -9.6 in 1wk cha-ching

That's a really good idea. I'm thinking that I might make it even easier on myself and just pick up something from the deli. I'll take my P2 food for me to nosh on. No one will care. But I know they'll notice. That's OK. They all know that I've pretty much spent my entire life on a diet anyway.

Oh and hey ... congrats on the .8 lb loss!!!! One week and just a hair shy of 10 lbs! That's awesome!!!

Good Job! Hopefully I will see a drop tomorrow. I too need to tone. They say not to excersize during P2?

You guys are showing some amazing losses! Way to go!!!!!!

I'm afraid this may be a bit of a wash this week for me in terms of losses -- TOM, and now a cold, too I've eaten more than I planned yesterday and again today (though today was an improvement over yesterday) -- and I will be pretty pleased if I just maintain my pre-TOM weight on the other side of it.

I'm going to try to stay the course of this into next week, and see if I can get some good losses the week after TOM -- and decide whether to stay on p2 or move to p3 at that point.

I wish the hHcg gave me good hunger control, but it doesn't so much -- it did my very first round, but after that, I've struggled pretty continuously with hunger off and on.

Had tilapia for dinner last night (and sun) never had it b4 but we love it now.

Petchie, no excercise p2 but can walk up to a mile a day. Am thinking about dusting the treadmill off and starting my 1 mile to get ready for p3. Am hoping to walk w no pain !! Yesterday I had minimal back back when walking so hoppy the mire I lose the less pain I will have !

Mini, tom is always rough diet or not and I'm dreading mine ! Still have a few wkd for me though. Hoping u stabilize after
Happy days all, eat and be well <3

Dropped 1.4 of the 2.0 I gained yesterday. Am thinking that VLCD7 was a weight error on my scale. Total for round in 8 days is 9.8 post load and 6.6 pre load. Hope to get a total of 15 at least for the first 21 days.

Coco, good idea on dusting off the treadmill. I have one folded up in the corner as well I should pull back out.

I also have some programs for the Wii that I really liked last year but have not done lately. When I was doing those it at least helped with my endurance so I could then move on to 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels, T-Tapp, etc. Hope to get back to those soon, they really did work.

Oh, I had shrimp yesterday, just ate it plain. Could not think of anything to do with it. LOL

Coco and Petchie -- whoohoo on those losses!!

Petchie -- it may have been a scale error -- but I know that when my body is going through rapid losses, I tend to have big water fluctuations as a part of the process, so that could also be what is happening.

I'm back on plan today -- and not plagued by hunger, so I am thinking I can stick to my guns now -- I'm not planning a weigh-in until Friday at the earliest, when the worst of TOM should be over. I'm hoping for good, low calorie days until the weigh in, too.

I'm planning to kick the diet into higher gear after TOM and see if I can keep losing to goal. It may or may not happen, but I am at least prepared to give it my best shot. That tends to be a good week for losses for me, so I will make the most of it -- and I may benefit from the couple of more relaxed days early this week -- I hope so.

You may need to regulate your doses then! When I did drops, my bottle said 8 3 times a day, I needed 6.

What are you taking?

Check this link out Dosages?

Wooo hooon the losses Coco and Petchie

Mini, I completely understand about TOM, very frustrating. I made it down to 235 then popped up to 236.8 now down to 236, all because of my lovely freind TOM...so fun, not! Looks as if you have a plan in place, you go girl!

I have to really keep my head in the game and put things into perspective this round.

I gained 10lbs on load day, took three days to get rid of that and now I'm down an additional almost 6 pounds from LDW, for a grand totoal of -16 pounds and -6 from LDW in 9 days, which really is quite awesome, but I find myself whining internally that I wasted three days getting rid of the load.

Here is how I put it into perspective, when I was doing Nutrisystem, I spent a crap load of money every month and was thrilled to see a 2 pound loss ever week. So where do I get off whining about 6 pounds (from LDW) in 9 days, lol Its all about perspective and I have to remind myself of that on occasion.

Ty- so sorry to hear you are feeling blah, I hope you can find a solution that will work for you, you definitely should not be feeling the blahs.

I do not miss TMO! My last was at the age of 42.

I went through very early menopause which is what put this weight on in the last 10 years. From the age of 25-42 I wore a size 10 off the rack. Slowly after my last TMO, the weight just crept on.

My friends are going through menopause now, and I do not envy them the hot flashes, the mood swings, the weight gain. I have been warning them all to weigh daily and correct at 2 pounds (like Simeon) or they too can put on 40 pounds in 10 years.

Petchie -- I'm in perimenopause now -- I'll be 44 this month. I've found some balance through bioidentical hormones and supplements, which have helped a lot with the bad symptoms I was having.

I am adjusting my pellet dosage down, and I think it did help with the hunger -- and I'm sure that TOM getting rolling also helped.

In any event, today went much more smoothly -- I was able to keep the calories down below 1000, and I am totally fine tonight ... which is good, because I will be up late working.

Hoping to be fully back on plan with a true fat fast day tomorrow -- and hoping to see at least a bit of a loss when I weigh in this weekend.

Great job folks.... Tylar -- I hope you see losses even though you haven't been spot on. plan... it can happen, and the good news is that we can always pick right up and get on track from here.

Tweaking the dose really can make a difference -- I've had that happen before... and the dosing needs don't necessarily stay constant from round to round.

Here's to a great day tomorrow, folks!!!!

Released 0.6 so not a bad day. Back to my 10.4 pounds lost so far this round. Upped my protein a bit yesterday and cut out the fruit since my legs ached a little. Felt better afterwards. I know the manuscript talked about that feeling.

Hope everyone else has a great day!

Awesome lynai!!
Am -.2 this morn lol. (-10.6 / 8 days).

I think fiancé is bowing out. He's been cheating since day 1 anyways and still dropped like crazy. He only has 15 lbs to lose and is not feeling the best on this diet. Plus once he heard that fda stuff that's all it took.

I'm worried it's going to b harder now cuz he'll b wanting to go out to dinner etc but hoping will still make. 30 days left!

My husband is trying to lose a few pounds as well. I make him what I eat, I just give him more. If dinner is chicken and veggies, I eat the 100g of chicken etc, and he eats a regular size serving. So far it is working.

This tall superskinny woman (like size -00 skinny) walks by me and says, isn't it so hard to walk by so and so's cake. Our resident baker here St work made a big calorielicious cake for all to share. Now this girl eats like a horse (and resembles one too skinny can't fix the ugly...oh I joke I joke lol) anywho, I just smiled and thought to myself, No, No it isnt
Then she came back and helped herself to a heaping piece while I had my Greene tea and Melba.

I had no desire for said cake yay although it is cold and rainy today so had a hankering for a French vanilla cappuccino bit I had my tea instead

Work is full of sabotagers. Be ware!

Good job on the cake victory Cocomarie! I've walked by a lot more cakes than I've stopped for in my life, though I admit I still feel just a tiny twinge whenever I do it ... this season is full of that sort of thing.

Glad you got your hhcg stocked up, too. This situation is beyond frustrating, and it seems it may really get yanked this time around.

I have 2 of the small bottles on order, and am keeping them tucked away for future emergencies. I have enough left of my current stock to make it to goal -- especially since the time has come to kick it into high gear now that the stresses of the semester are over.

Tylar -- definitely try adjusting your dose -- I dropped mine down to 3 - 2 - 3 ... and I actually do think it is helping. I still have hunger, but not nearly as much as before. We'll see how tomorrow goes, when I launch into the full-blown fat fast for a day or two.

Nice drop Petchie!

I'm rolling with my fat fast day -- and really ready to be back on target here!!

I can tell I am getting some inch loss -- my butt is finally shrinking! Whoohoo... that is always the last to go. Not sure if this inch loss will show up on the scale this weekend, or if that is my body catching up to some earlier lb. losses, but I will take it either way.

We still have three weeks until the New Year -- that gives us quite a lot of time to get towards goal, people... so I say we DO IT. Three weeks can accomplish miracles on this protocol.

I would LOVE to start... and end... next year at goal!! I can't wait to be at goal and stable so I can start doing the real work (for me) -- strength training and maintenance.

Coco -- I think you mean the signature at the bottom of the page? Go to your user control panel, and then go to Edit Signature. You can add information there.

Oh, and NICE WORK with the 1 lb drop!
