Cheryl -- is the package including the skin in the total? That is where most of the fat and calories in chicken are... and I know what you mean about getting totally bizarrely different calorie counts depending where you look for the figure... I went through that my first round, before I decided that a ball park figure was good enough for me.

Man, today seemed endless to me... plenty to do, but I am just not all that into a lot of it right now, due to burnout more than anything else.
I should never have entertained the idea of p3 -- Now, I'm having a hard time not resisting being on p2.... but all it will take is for this danged stall to really break, and I will be completely glad I stuck it out. If the stall doesn't break for me with some renewed efforts, though, I think I really will take a p3 break for a while. I have to give it a true and honest shot first, though.

well I finally made it on here! So much reading to catch up on.....gabby people! LOL
I'm on P2 officially now. I weighed 190.3 today (Tuesday). I weighed tonight and weighed 191.something so I'm usually down 3 lbs in the morning. so if that happens, I'm going to have a great weigh in! Can't wait now! Mini, hope you have success with P2. Kick that stall in the butt! hahaha I don't have to "watch" the baby tomorrow so I'll be on through the day. Have a good night everyone! May you all have great wooshes!

Tay, I hope your weigh in is as good as expected! I never weigh more than once a day -- first thing in the morning... otherwise I'd get even more weirdly obsessive about it than I am now...lol.
I admit I am really, really looking forward to the day I break 110... when ever that may be! |

Thank you!!!
I know ~rationally~ that I did not gain 20lbs of fat, but ugh I physically feel horrible (it's still 20 lbs, even if it was 20lbs of gold, it's still uncomfortable) and emotionally (it's still 20 lbs - on the scale). I really appreciate you all. |

Good morning. I'm struggling here pretty bad. I know the scale is up because I peeked even though I said I wasn't going to. It just isn't coming down after thanksgiving. Last week at this time I was at 111.5, this week 114.5, and it's not my body not responding, it's me not being good I eat one bite of carbs and I'm done for. So I'm going to switch my gears a little and take all carbs completely out. I guess I'll be doing kind of PSMF. I may add in a bit of fat or some fish oil but I'll see how I feel after a day or 2. Today I'm doing a shake day. I need to see some significant drop on the scale s hopefully a CD will do it. Plus this way I can control my calories. I want to end Novemeber on a good note and open decemeber on an even better one.....so now I have to give this my all, no matter how much I don't want to

Wow, we are some busy talkers here this week! Wish I could do personals, but have to do the school run in a bit.
Back down to my weight of early last week, and the weight I started November 5th. Today is an Up Day for me (1600 calories) then Thur/Fri are Down Days. Hopefully I will see a new number. If not, I know it is time for maintenance! |

Good Morning! Another quick run by! Down another whopping one pound, total of 5.2 pounds gone in three days!
![]() My goal is to be at 155.2 by Christmas (a total of twenty pounds from where I started on this round: 175.2) and that will be my very first and only interruption day. Have a great day, congratulations to all you wonderful ladies and I'll BBL! ![]() Last edited by Violet_Dream; 11-30-2011 at 05:21 AM.. |

Oh dear, Disney -- I'm sorry! This is tough!!! Good luck with the PSMF variant -- maybe it will keep the cravings under control!
I had an abysmal night's sleep, but am going to face the scale anyhow -- if the number is less than stellar, I can blame not sleeping well -- I was pretty good all things considered yesterday. Nice drop Violet!!! Nice low, Paula -- hope it sticks and continues dropping for you! Life -- I am interested to see how you fare the next few days, and I really feel your pain! Too bad we don't gain weight in gold, isn't it???? I might be okay with that once in a while, lol! |

Verdict? Refeed day gain, GONE!
I am pretty darn hungry this morning, and going to spread my eating out throughout the day -- that way I will be more likely to stay on track, I think. I think I really am getting some inch loss, too -- the warmups I am wearing seem quite a bit looser on me than they were a week ago, so ***maybe*** that means the stall is breaking??? Oh, please??? I can stick to this if I start getting results, either inches or lbs... it was the stall that was killing my motivation to continue. It is COLD here this morning, and supposed to be quite windy today, so I am bundling up before I leave the house! |

Good morning, gals!!
I'm down to 173.5 from 177 the day after Thanksgiving, when I went back on medifast. For those that are interested, mf is a meal-replacement program, using 5 little "meals" a day, along with one "Lean & Green" meal a day. Supposed to provide 800-1000 cals. "meals" are things like shakes, hot drinks, bars, cheese puffs, soups and "oatmeal". Because I'm a rogue, even on mf, I count my coffee w/ 1 tablespoon of hwc as a "meal" and then do only 3 more mf meals along with my L&G. Each mf meal is 90-110 cals, so, with the coffee I'm at 320-380, plus my L&G which should keep me under 800 for sure!! Today is the day I'll start experimenting with my drops!! I thought about it, and I'm just gonna dive in! 3x a day, between meals, 10 drops per dose, and we'll see where it goes from there. I have been having a lot of hunger yesterday and this morning, so I definitely need something!! I plotted out target weights from now until my anniversary in March, and my target for this week is 172, so I'm close and will make it!! Next week is 170 and so on, since I must average 2lbs. per week to meet my goal of 140 by 3/20.

Whoohoo Lynne -- off to a great start, and I can't wait to see the results of the medifast/hcg experiment! My guess is that it will work wonderfully for you
I seem to lose best around 800 calories, give or take a couple hundred a day.... |

Even better than I predicted! Now I predict that you will see new territory tomorrow. I was hungry this morning too but it finally passed. I don't dare start eating this early in the day because 500 cals go so fast. Unlike you, I'm a late-day feeder. I'm overdue for a cup of coffee, though. Hope the cold doesn't last long and it's back up in comfortable temperatures soon. It's been crazy mild here but now the cold is moving back in. I'm hoping that we finally get a mild winter. Quote:

If you are using the ticker factory, this is how you do it: After you make your ticker, just ignore the codes below (that tell you to copy and paste.) Put your cursor on the ticker and right-click. Click "properties" then highlight the url shown. Click to copy (as you would copy/paste anything.) Close the properties window. Go to "Edit Siggy" on LCF. Scroll down to where it has two boxes to paste a url (one is to browse, the other to just paste.) Get rid of the "http://..." that's in the box, then paste your url. Just to the right of that area you'll see a link that says something like "include sig pic". Click on that and it will put a "SIGPIC" (with brackets) in your siggy area. Then click "preview signature" and see if it all comes up. If it does and the ticker is where you want it to be, click save. If not, just move that "sigpic" with the brackets to where you want it (if it's like my siggy I have multiple things in it.) That should do it! Now the thing is that each time you change the ticker you need to do that all over again. It's a small hassle but it gets quick and painless and it's fun to update your ticker! I don't mind doing it at all. With practice you'll have it down in no time flat. Check out my siggy and ticker for day 1 results! They're rocking! ![]()

Grrrrrrrrrr
had my coffee and my shake this morning and then what do I do?!? Have some chicken quesadilla at lunch. Thankfully I only had one small triangle but now the cravings are at a full on rage. I'm chugging water and hoping they pass. My mind is telling me to just give myself one more day and then dive into p2 head on..... |

Hello Everyone
Congrats to all on their losses
I am stablized on P3 and happy as a pig in mud about that. I do eat carbs and they have no affect. Still not really happy with my weight training. I thought I would have more strength being in P3 but I don't. I don't understand why. I see a little improvement but, I guess I thought my body would respond like.. whoa more food and then my body would pump up immediately. No, huh I will just keep working along.I think I will make this an interrupt and do a short a continuation of P2. Because it's less than 14 days I won't have to load again and it will just pick up. It won't be a long P2 but maybe I can lose another 6 pounds. I hope ![]() |

I'm not feeling too great today. Headache, alittle quesey (sp?), and just not feeling right. Then I forgot my drops earlier too! I just took my 1st dose so my doses are going to be alittle close today.
I'm glad to read everyone is doing good. That 20 lbs is quite baffling to me. But I guess anything is possible. I'd freak though. I'm down a pound today! "Refeeds" are good to me. That, and keeping my calories up around 700-800. It just amazes me. |

I have essentially stayed the same LDW weight (except the day I dropped 1.3 pounds and after Thanksgiving I was .5 up) It is get to stablized so quickly on P3 and be able to have carbs. But to have carbs you must pay the price in the gym. It's a fair trade off. ![]() |

Congrats on stabilizing, Hexa! I still don't think you are eating enough for a real p3, and that is probably why you aren't getting as strong as you expected --- but that is just my two cents, and I could be wrong. If it is just an interruption, then it doesn't so much matter -- but the idea for a lot of people is to stabilize at the highest calorie intake possible.
On the other hand, you are eating carbs, which is also not strict a p3 thing... so who knows? You are doing your own experiment... how exciting! |

Congrats on the new decade, Tay!!!! I'm with Cheryl, who says you need to dance a jig.... I totally agree! Guess that late night weigh in prediction was pretty accurate
And Cheryl ... that was a big whoosh for you! You'll be doing the new decade dance yourself very, very soon Disney -- I wonder if some of this is because you lost so much, so fast, and then did an interrupt? I'm one of those blessed people who doesn't really crave carbs, so I don't know.. but this isn't like you usually. I hope you are able to get on track soon, if that is what you really want to be doing. If not, taking a break isn't a bad thing... we all need them sometimes. |

I just finished my late lunch, which will be the last I eat today.
I'm going to come in at about 800 cals for the day -- and that is pretty much perfect. Like Tay, I seem to lose better in the 700-800 range than I do at 500-- and I think the protein is doing me a lot of good -- I'm feeling stronger. Went grocery shopping, and am all stocked up on lean meat, fat free yogurt, fruit, protein powder... I'm good to go .... market had a good deal on berries, so that made me super happy My only dietary question mark today is sodium -- the chicken breast had a bit, and I had a little artichoke tapenade on it (low cal, made in water) that was a tad salty too... not like mustard salty, but I have been pretty sensitive to sodium of late. I will drink a lot of liquid tonight, and I suspect it will be fine. I am SO hoping to break that darn 110 tomorrow... if it doesn't happen, that's ok... I had a nice drop today... but I am so dang close to breaking it. I like your predictions Cheryl ![]() |

Oh, and for what its worth... I'd freak at a 20 lb gain, too! (Now, granted, that would be a tremendous percentage of my body weight!) -- but even still, I'd freak.
Life, if you are willing to share, what was your diet like during those 4 days? Were you taking pellets/drops/hcg? I'm sure we are all curious... in a scared sort of way! |
