Thanks for the new thread Winders!

WTG guys! That's awesome!

I am up 1.8 from a couple of days ago but still under LDW by about 0.5. In a complete fit of insanity yesterday, I ate a bowl of sugar free ice cream. Will I NEVER learn that my body likes neither sugar alcohols nor lactose???

Also Aunt Flo appears to be toying with a visit. Since the Mirena, she has popped in once or twice but that would explain both the ice cream craving AND the weight gain.

I did "average" my weights through the last 5 months of P4 and my average is 1.6 BELOW LDW so I am pretty happy with that even if my weight isn't as consistently there as I would like!

I am frustrated, very. I didn't feel like cooking last night, and eating chicken AGAIN, so we had pizza. Maybe I should go buy some chicken thighs and do a CD. I just watch what I eat all the time, and exercise, and for some reason, that scale is going up, and I am sulking. Then when I ate bad, my husband says 'I don't understand you, you diet all the time, then you eat pizza, and cookies. you don't make sense to me.' I could have smacked him. He eats whatever he wants. He does have a pouch belly, but he never has cared about his weight. He makes a whole bowl of no bake cookies and leaves them on the counter, and criticizes me when I eat some. He snacks continously. I just needed to vent. I am sorry I am being a baby. I am just very frustrated!!

Congrats to those of you still in your window!

Lori- Understand your frustration. It is difficult when you have a husband who can eat whatever he wants. I can surely understand that!

Chicken CD for me today. I'm up a pound from where I was yesterday, putting me 2 pounds above my window *big sigh*. Hoping this CD nets a nice big loss and gets me back in my window. I dont' think I've been in my window for over a week now. I've just been alternating CD's with normal P3 days. Hopefully this is the week to get back into that window!

I am up 6 lbs. 4 lbs over LDW. I have not been eating the wrong foods - I've been eating mostly meat, actually. Absolutely no sugar and starch. Well, there was the rum saturday night, but that was two shots of rum and I didn't eat my fruit.

I did assemble furniture - so much that I'm still sore, and not drink enough water. Saturday and Sunday I didn't get enough calories and Friday I got too many. Today is a chicken drumstick correction day. I've had three, lunch is another 4, and supper will be as many of the remaining 5 as I care to eat.

And I will drink enough water today. I think some of this is probably water retention from assembling furniture and not getting enough water.

Yes, I love my chicken thigh cd's--they usually net me at least 2 pounds off, sometimes as much as 4 pounds.

Package of chicken thighs with skin (usually 8 in the package that I get)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Italian seasoning
(or whatever spices you like)

Preheat oven to 375. Double line a baking sheet with foil. Use either non-stick foil or spray with cooking spray. Place thighs skin side down and coat liberally with s&p and spices. Turn over and coat liberally again. Bake in preheated over for 40-45 minutes or until skin is brown and crispy. Mmmmmmm...chicken thighs! Eat as many as you like for your cd all day long.

**Sometimes for extra tastiness, I bake a pound of bacon (double line pan with foil, lay out strips of bacon on pan, put in cold oven, turn oven on to 375, cook for 40 mins or until desired crispiness) then stick the chicken thighs right on top of the bacon grease. It is super nomnomnom.

Too much meat/protein can make me gain too. Might try balancing protein, fat and carbs, maybe like 55%, 25%, 20%??? I agree that it's partially from the exercise. I can gain up to 4 pounds from being exercise sore. Add some lemon and/or ACV to your water. That usually also helps flush any extra you've got hanging around.

I might have to up my carbs then, because honestly I'm so sick of vegetables and fruit that I often just skip them in favour of the fatty meat. Maybe I should get better at tracking, period.

Lost the 2.5 I gained after a steak CD yesterday. Still 1 pound outside my window, hoping clean eats will get me back within my window by tomorrow.

Hey Everyone!

I'm up to 1.50 outside my window!!!!! Like Shelby, Aunt Flo is TOYING with a visit. Not supposed to be here for another few weeks.

I'm going to see what tomorrow am brings and if needed I will do a CD. I am thinking of doing the EGG CD, anyone done that before? I think I can stand it better than any other one. Plus lots of vaireties like hard boiled, fried, scrambled, egg salad, deviled eggs.

Glad to see most others are in your window!!

Hello! I have been MIA for awhile, not posting much as a lot of craziness is going on in my life right now. Nothing horrible though, so no worries.

I would love to report how I am doing with weight but I found out today that my scale is worthless. Depending on where you place it, it gives a different weight. And not even in the same ballpark, the weights are all over the map! I did a chicken cd yesterday and now I don't know if I even needed to.

So, scale shopping today!

Of course, maybe its my flooring? I do live in an old house, so maybe the floors are uneven? In that case, I guess I am screwed because all scales will suck then.

Yeah, it's definitely a PITA to track but I found that when all else fails looking with a critical eye at what I'm eating really helps. I'm in the carnivore club too! I really DO have to force myself to eat veggies. It helps if they are NOT P2 veggies and I drown them in butter... Just sayin'...

Egg day did nothing for me and I found myself heartily SICK of eggs by the end of the day so I ended up eating something else which may or may not have impacted my losses. Somehow I never sick tired of roasted chicken thighs. Good luck whatever you decide.

Marion - I have the Weight Watchers scale that measures in 0.1 increments. I love it. It is really consistent to the point where I can weigh myself two or three times in a row and get the same results. I also have sharpee'd the place on the floor where I put the scale. So if it's off, at least it's off consistently...

Holy moly - I did a completely on-protocol egg CD yesterday with tons of water and lost ..... NOTHING. That is a surprise. I've done them before and lost significantly. I did weigh quite early, didn't sleep well, and so I will hope for a 2-day effect.

Not sure what is going on here, know I have HUGE hormone/adrenal issues right now, completely imbalanced, had some pretty quick gain over the past few weeks. So I am going to just do eggs this am and beef and salad for dinner. Not sure what to do except jump on P2 again soon. I know I'm "unset" and that's a bummer. The main thing here is that I don't lose my *sanity* over it! LOL

I did egg cd's before and they were great. I lost alot with them. This last one, may be a fail, may not. Didn't get much sleep and my hormones are whacked. Give it a try. It's a pretty easy one to do, and cheap as well.

Thanks for the advice Marie! I'm praying the scale is down so I won't have to do one but 201.5 is a stretch from my 203 this am. Prayers Please!!

I think I'll do the egg or the gy, haven't decided yet...Sure will miss my bacon/sausage!

What a small world!!! I have a jewelry show in a couple of weeks in Lansing. Have you ever heard of Premier Jewelry?? I do home shows and give away alot of free jewelry! My son goes to GVSU! He has about 1 year to go and he will graduate.

I wonder if I am gaining lately because I am eating too much protein and not enough fat. As much as I hate too, maybe I should start tracking. What do you do with coconut oil?? What ratio's should I be shooting for to maintain??

I got my chicken thighs today. I am doing my CD tomorrow.

Total bummer, chicken thigh CD only got me a .8 pound loss . Still 1.2 above my window. ARGH! Good LC eating day today and then tomorrow I'll do another CD. Hopefully get back in my window before Thanksgiving.
