Fell off the bandwagon-Restart?

-- Well, I caved...to everything.
I was doing really well for about 32 days of P2, lost 17 lbs and now I have completed left the beaten path!

I have just purchased a new bottle of hhcg drops... how would I go about restarting the diet?

I have been taking the drops even with not eating properly- I'm not hog wild crazy with food but definitely not on protocol... I bounce around between 2 and 4 pounds difference a day.

I would like to lose at minimum 25lbs more by the end of the year.

Any advice is very much appreciated

So you have never stopped the drops at all?

I believe max you can do is 40days and then you need to take a couple week break before you are allowed to reload and start again. I am sure someone will clarify with the details more then I have.

If you have been taking them nonstop I would just get back to eating P2 and take them for the rest of the 40days

Hi Alexa,

Thank you for typing all that for me LOL. I literally came back on the forum to post the exact thing. I did great for 45 days with only a slip or 2 during my move, was right back on until DH flew home last week. Not only did I cave in but I just agreed with myself to feast with him and have a great time without the thought of regulating my eating. He had been gone for 5 and 1/2 weeks and I wanted to cook and celebrate being with him as he left this morning for another month. We had wine, cooked out with all new neighbors etc. and I fixed some great home cooked meals as he is and has been flying in/out of Nigeria staying in some not so great hotels. So.. I wasn't sure what to do but thought about just starting over. I stopped the drops for 3 days, then started back on the drops and loaded ( well tried to, it is difficult when you've eaten so healthy for 2 months) I loaded primarily because I knew I would become very hungry if I didn't when going back to 500cals. I am not saying you should do what I have done, I probably made a huge mistake, but I will share my journey with you as we seem to be in the same boat right now. We are also close to the same weight. I actually weighed 234.6 before falling off last week. I am up 4lbs but 2 those lbs are from loading. I can't allow myself to " hate me" because I will feel I deserve to stay fat. That has been my mindset for years and why I didn't allow myself to continue. But I know better and what I have learned is that I'm not perfect and I got back on. My goal is 20lbs by Dec 10th, which is when I will be flying home for the holidays.

I would probably just jump right back in. I did hHCG (pellets) for 74 days last round and didn't have any issues. Good luck!!!

Wife of a Pilot,
You and I are in the same boat...and I would love to hear your story and advice!!! We are so much alike in statistics, its ironic!!! We are about the same in weight as of right now as well. My fiance is gone a lot of the time and mostly on the weekends is when we have time together. . . which means: pizza, martinis, homecooked meals and coloring outside the lines of protocol haha I continued the drops but I have been off them since Friday (11/11) and now it is 11/14 so I am considering starting tomorrow back into P2. I read that you can restart any time, I just hope I don't have trouble stabilizing~which if I do, I guess I deserve it. I totally get the whole 'I deserve to be fat' thing- It goes through my mind everyday. I would at least like to be under 225 by Thanksgiving, which is only 10 lbs... I need willpower and lots of it haha
Good luck to you and keep me posted on everything!!! Hopefully we can lose together!

Lildrew, first off, you're looking amazing in your avatar! I look at you and lilacbruze, diva and it gives me so much hope!

I am going to restart tomorrow... I have not re-loaded and I will probably refrain only because I know I didn't eat very well the past 2 days anyway.

Thank you for your help and advice!
If you have anything else to add please let me know, I would appreciate all the helps tips and tricks from people with success like yours!!!

You did 74 days straight?? I thought the limit was 40days? Or is it different with pellets?

40 days is the max with Rx. If you're doing hhcg, pellets or sublingual, you can go longer if you so wish-the max of anyone I personally know IRL was 60 days, and people around me doing hhcg did that quite regularly. Lilac and someone else here at LCF has done 90 or so. IMHO you still need to be very careful with not going into protein deprivation, and giving yourself time for mental breaks, creating an incremental setpoint, allowing for skin shrinkage (oh ya-it's real) and such.

If I were you, the two of you, wife and oneoftwo, I'd just jump back onto protocol. If you ate like gangbusters and only gained 2 to 4 pounds I'd say you were extremely lucky and just GO FOR IT again. Applaud yourself for how far you've come and not let a few days/week of feasting to turn into complete off protocol now. See it for what it was, a short time of indulgence and get back on the protocol without tweaks and see how much farther you can go. Not everyone is as lucky. Thank goodness you were! Yay!

Alexa,

I will stay on this journey with you for sure! What I love most about this group of awesome and encouraging women, is that we have a mix of those who have stayed strict protocol and lived to tell it lol, those who like us, have fallen off the horse and gotten back on. There are those tho go rogue, those who P2 cycle and those who have come behind us who are simply finding their way.

LCF is my porn LOL. This is my hidden life that I have now, the website I go to that none of my family know about. Mainly because my family back home has no idea I am doing this and because it is information overload and they just wouldn't grasp it or understand. Once they see me, I think then, they will know, without explanation, it works. Then if they want specifics, I will share it with them. On here I can share my fantasies of what it is going to be like when I get into the onesies, be able to fit comfortably on every single rollercoaster I can get my hands on and wear a short skirt and heels again and look damn good in it!

If it weren't for Lilac, Shelby, C'Marie, LilDrew, and the many others who show us every day that this works, no matter the pace, we can be there too!

When I came off last week, I did go ahead and load for 1 day. I can't believe how difficult and guilt ridden it was, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to starve. I am fine. and I am down 2lbs less than my last weight before I fell off the wagon. So I am living proof you can get back on.
