I really need some info and can't find it...please help
I'm thinking of giving hhcg another try, but since the last time I did it I have discovered I have a problem with my kidneys (strictly diabetes-related). I asked my kidney doctor about doing the hhcg diet yesterday and he couldn't really answer me as he had never heard of it, but he did say that weight loss is my most important health goal right now as it will lower my (very high) blood pressure.
I looked over Pounds and Inches and I can't find anything in it that mentions whether or not the program can have an adverse effect on kidneys, although I know it's great for diabetics? Any thoughts? (Please note I am NOT asking for medical advice and I will consult my family doctor; I would just really like to hear from you!) Thanks!!!

I don't have the answer to your question, but hope that your family doc approves and you can start ASAP!! I know that this plan helped my blood sugar levels. I tend to think of this more as a detox diet than anything else. So maybe you can frame it that way when you discuss it with your doctor. You really are eating very clean and pristine while following the plan exactly and not taxing your body with too much protein. Best wishes!!
