No fun Sunny! I'm sorry! I haven't had one in 7 + years (I love that).
I've eaten weird today too: Coffee with 1 T HWC Roast Beef on an oopsie Avocado Salad with romaine, spinach, grape tomatoes, 1 boiled egg, bleu cheese crumbles, 7 pieces of bacon and 2 T of bleu cheese dressing Cocoa coconut made with coconut oil instead of butter this time. I haven't counted calories yet... Hope you feel better soon! Big Hugs! |

Good morning! More proof that number of calories have anything to do with weight loss. I forgot to add my roast beef I had for lunch, so my total calories yesterday was actually, 1707 (77% fat) and I lost .5! I'm up one pound from from LIW. I was hoping to get to 198 before Thanksgiving, maybe tomorrow....

Thanksgiving!
Quote:
It took me a half an hour, but I finally calculated the stats on the muffins Each: 180.75 cal/14.69 fat/2.25 fiber/.25 sugar/ 10.48 prot Still making a lot of sugar free/starch free foods for tomorrow, so I can have choices. I made Cleo's Ultimate Cheesecake without the cherries. I'm using her Pumpkin Recipe carmel topping instead, sprinkled with toasted pecans. The batter was unbelievable, and totally tasted like the full sugar version. It was pretty costly too, so people better not get a piece, and then not eat it! ![]() I am also making sausage/cream cheese stuffed mushrooms (my recipe), Old-Fashioned Low-Carb Faux-tato Salad, and several high carb traditional foods. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for you all! ![]()

Oh no I ate today! I mean that I went way over my calories yesterday and I still lost .2 oz. so in reality on this diet you can't assume you'll gain if you go over. For tomorrow I'm making cauliflower mash for myself, broccoli and bacon as my other side...and we always fry a turkey in peanut oil. Not sure what else as I know I get full quickly lol...I might do tomatoes with mozzarella on the side. My husband is making the other stuff for the rest of the family.
And you must try that mug cake recipe..I have been eating one for the last 5 nights with heavy whipped cream on top...it's so yummy... I'm going to try that chocolate ganache topping... Have any of you ladies tried peanut butter yet? I know many people are wary of it...I think I will venture into that territory next week. I tried almond butter and didn't like it...I think I would only use peanut butter with my desserts. On the down side Aunt Flo is still here...I'm seriously thinking of going to my doctor and see what the heck is going on. I was thinking of doing another round to lose my last 10...but would love to lose 15 more...but I am so scared to do it. I had an awful time with the shots, so if I decide to, which will be the first week of January I might do the drops, all natural and forego the true hormone. It did a number on my body and I don't ever want to go through that again. Thankfully I have an amazing husband that when he would find me sitting in the kitchen floor hysterically sobbing would comfort me and just sit with me until the moment passed. I have never been pregnant and don't ever want to be for sure now LOL! Come to think of it I think I entered into a depression during the HCG period. But being a counselor I was able to just vent to someone and was able to pull myself together. Anyhow, yes thankfully we have each other and we understand exactly what we are going through, yay! Have a great day ladies!

Peanut butter is for P4 as peanuts and cashews are legumes and not true nuts. Some people do ok with it in P3 so YMMV. |

P3 Chocolate Cream Cheese Muffins
* I used the jumbo muffin cups and got 6 cheesecakes* Preheat oven to 350 (I have gas so I set mine to 300) 1- 8 oz package cream cheese 2 eggs 1/3 cup erythritol 1/3 cup Splenda 3 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (I used my no sugar madagascar vanilla) Soften cream cheese in microwave add eggs, sweeteners, cocoa powder and vanilla...mix....I used my bullet like hand mixer... Pour into greased muffin papers (I use jumbo aluminum) bake for 20 min. After the 20 min. open the oven door slightly and let cheesecakes sit in oven for about an hour. Then take out and let cool before refrigerating. All I have to say is I am super amazed at how yummy they came out. I can't wait to everyone to try them tomorrow because they don't taste sugar free at all! I will be making these often for sure...next time I'll try crushing berries into the mix and not adding chocolate. But for Thanksgiving I wanted something decadent |

Happy Thanksgiving! I want to so how thankful I am for you ladies!
![]() I was so happy to weigh in the same this morning (1 above LIW), especially since I binged on pecans I toasted last night. I made them sugar free, and ate at least 3/4 cup. It's that kind of eating I have to get under control. I will say it's been my first binge since October 18th, so I am not going to dwell on it. Big hugs to each of you! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
Memory - For the EGG CD I did 11 eggs, 2 fried for breakfast & a pc of sausage (I know bad), 6 boiled for lunch w/ 2-3 tbsp mayo & 2 tbsp dill relish, dinner was 3 scrambled w/ a little sharp cheddar. Sunny - I am so praying that Aunt Flo is gone by the time I get back home Sunday. A lady at my work has been on her cycle for 6 weeks now. Her Dr made her stop the drops. Depending on how AF does for me, I don't know that I'll be doing another round. My Aunt's scale is showing I'm down 2 pounds from yesterday but I don't trust it. Luckily my Mom weighed at my house too and she seems to be down a couple of pounds too here so I'm not going to believe it. However my Mom got on the scale that night so now I am sort of excited b/c that means I may not be up that much?!?! I'm going to say that I may be 1 pound up from my LDW. It's a gamble I guess! LOL I can believe I might be b/c yesterday my Aunt had me trying all sorts of stuff like chocolate covered pecan - I only had 1, a date w/ cranberry goat cheese - had 1, some tortilla chips and a mandarin blossom margarita. It had the most natural ingredients so am hoping it wasn't full of sugar - what do you guys think - it had lemon/lime juices, mandarin flavored vodka and some other regular vodka. It wasn't sweet at all just really refreshing. It knocked me down too! Other than that I had eggs/bacon/sausage for breakfast and 1 sugar free caramel/pecan treat at the airport. I snacked on a few almonds and the other stuff she had me trying and for dinner besides the chips I had grilled chicken w/ onions/jalapenos topped w/ cheese and some guac. I feel like I did pretty good overall but know I shouldn't have tried those things she made. Anyway, today I'm eating: B - leftover chicken/onions/jalapenos w/ cilantro cream sauce & 1/4 of an avocado L & D -ham, turkey, sausage mushroom stuffing (my LC recipe), green beans, stuffed mushrooms. of course they'll have some sort of buffet potatoes I've heard about but I will not eat any. I don't have a desire for potatoes anymore! Snacks - When we got here I stocked up on some peaches, pepperoni, queen olives, cucumbers, lettuce, ranch salsa dressing, hwc, full fat greek yogurt, almonds. I might have a sliver of her homemade carrot cake.

Aunt Flo still here, that's day 10!
So I called the clinic and they said it could be how women get their period after a pregnancy for weeks after, well I'm not ok with that and wished it was a side effect I knew about. This is not ok! This journey has been awful for me and I truly am thinking I'll just count calories once in P4 or do JUDD to lose the rest of the weight. My body is reacting to this HCG and from what I have been reading it's not like it's a rare occurrence. It's Thanksgiving and I'm happy For many things, but if you ask me has losing 22 pounds on this journey been worth it? I'd say a big no...this has been awful for me and I hope if any women go through this they aren't alone. So thanks ladies for being my backbone during this. Natasha lets pray together for AF to leave!!!!! Jeanette have a wonderful Thanksgiving! And Shelby thanks for your help! Have an awesome day! Oh weight today, 157.6 |

Boo Hiss, that is totally no fun! I'm praying for both of you! I'm especially sorry you're experience is not unique, and that others have suffered as well. Fortunately, I did not have a similar reaction to hCG injections, nor was it anything like a pregnancy. I don't know if I had a different strength or what, but I never felt any different, just less hungry...
BIG HUGS GIRL! Enjoy your day! |

AF should be dying down as of today but no sign of that. I will pray for us too!
I did pretty good yesterday all LC food but had a slim pc of my Aunt's carrot cake! Her scale was up 1 pound this morning from what it was Thurs am. Today was pretty good all LC eating except for 1 more thin slice of cake. I'm not having any tomorrow or Sunday before we head home. I must say I have been prepared and have done pretty good eating all LC stuff! We went to the Renaissance Festival today so there was lots of meat on sticks! I had a keilbasa sausage! If the scale is up to 200 tomorrow I will do a GY day. I have a good size tub ready to go and will put some peaches in it. Night ladies!! |

Hello All!
I brought my scale with me, and was up to 200.5 (.5 over) so I did my chicken thighs today. I had 2 for breakfast, 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner. We'll see what tomorrow brings. I had fun shopping today. I found a new brand of coffee with totally fun flavors at T.J. Maxx. Who knew? I bought Kringle Krunch, Coconut Cream, Snowflake Sundae and Santa's Toddy... GrandeKaffe.com. What's a GY day? I love my family support during my chicken thigh day! Whooty Whoo! |

That's one day I will probably not do because I'm not that fond of Greek Yogurt, although I've heard the full fat one is great. So what does a GY day consist of?
I think we've all done really well with planning! Yeah US! |

As for aunt Flo, I just started my BC again for the first time in 6 months. I couldn't take it anymore. Stopped it dead in her tracks...I will just do this one pack. I was going nuts! 12 days!?!?!! Hope you ladies had a good day |

So I'm at 156.8 today!
My menu yesterday, was a cheese omelette for breakfast. We had lunch at a Puerto Rican restaurant, (Yumm!!) so I had chicharron de pollo (crispy skin chicken) with a side salad of cabbage, tomatoes, and onions and olive oil and vinegar as my dressing. For dinner I had broccoli with cheese and leftover fried turkey I had macadamia nuts as my snacks. Today I think I will eat Greek yogurt for breakfast with blueberries and raspberries and some thin sliced almonds on top. Jeanette it was SO HARD not to cheat...I really wanted that cheesecake factory pumpkin cheesecake which is sitting in my fridge. But what stopped me was that I was so full...I get full so easily now lol...AND the suffering I have gone through on this darn diet! I was like in my head, seriously girl...after ALL you have been through you're going to mess it up with a piece of cheesecake? So to me nothing in the world for right now is worth cheating for lol... Once P4 comes in I will slowly add in good foods. I think I will go back to calorie counting to lose my last 12 pounds. I will only lose a pound a week, but at least I'll have my sanity! Today we are on the look for a coffee maker. We splurged on a BUNN yesterday only to realize it makes crappy coffee. And I CANNOT live without my coffee! That's like asking a hispanic woman to stop breathing LOL! Well ladies, I'm off to shop...have a lovely day! And let me know how those CD days go! Just in case I need too, I like the idea of a GY day and Chicken day. Last edited by SunnyFL; 11-26-2011 at 07:17 AM.. |

Hey! Have fun shopping today!! You've been sooo good when I've had some cheats since I've been here at my Aunt's.
P3 Day 11 - The scale is up 2 pounds since I've been here so I am doing a GY Day today. I added some peaches in it this morning b/c I don't have any strawberries or blueberries. Will get some blueberries at the store today. Plan on staying on track the rest of my P3 except for next Friday night I'm going out so will again have a drink and probably some chips at Mexican birthday dinner. Need to check the calendar to see when I'll be OUT of P3 - not so I can go crazy but hopefully so if I do have some off plan stuff here and there on occasion that I won't have to do a CD! FORGOT TO MENTION = AUNT FLO IS GONE! SO I HAD MY REGULARY SCHEDULED (YET A BIT EARLY) 5 DAY ROUTINE...SO HAPPY! But at least we are armed with the Cinnamon/Ibuprofen method now if we need it again! I think as long as everything goes smoothly for the next month and AF doesn't show back up unexpectedly I am going to do another round on Dec 31st!! Not looking forward to chicken again but armed with my P2 Chili I will be in business!! Woo Hoo! Last edited by BaileysGirl; 11-26-2011 at 08:30 AM.. |

My CD went well! I'm back in my window, at least I think I am. It's hard to weigh on these old wooden floors, but at one point the scale showed a 2.0 pound loss.
Had eggs and bacon with the bestest coffee ever this morning. You guys run to TJ Maxx and get some of this coffee! Seriously, it's amazing! Have a fabulous day! |

Just stopped by to say I had some FF greek yogurt with cocoa powder, sweetner and vanilla extract and it was yummy...like a chocolate dessert
Was in the mood for pudding, so....this kinda took care of my craving ![]() To be honest it tasted like the yoplait chocolate whips yogurt. Pretty good! Last edited by SunnyFL; 11-26-2011 at 12:30 PM.. |
