Star just make sure what you are eating you add healthy fats to it! I actually added HC to my Fage lol...and I am addicted to coconut butter with cocoa powder and sweetener
Or make a chocolate mug cake! Thankfully this never caused gains for me...with heavy whipping cream on top and some berries yummy yumm! I should make one now, but I am stuffed. Hubby made ribs with an arugula salad for dinner. Didn't do any carbs for dinner since I had the carbs for lunch and breakfast. Anyhow I am babbling...off to wrap presents! Which is HARD to do with three chihuahuas running around. It's like having toddlers lol

Hi! Breaking Dawn was great! At home now w/ my snuggie watching some Christmas movie on Lifetime! I just added some jamaican rum to my pink lemonade! I usually would do mango or pineapple juice so since thats out got to find something that goes good with it! Maybe those flavored waters?
Did good at the movies only ate a few bites of friends popcorn stuck to my water and almonds! I counted calories for 3 days! It was torture but so worth it! |

Now--the best part--the chipotle sauce! You'll need: 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. (you can find them with the mexican stuff in the store) Mayo Sour cream cilantro garlic salt white onion In a bowl, crush 1 of the chipotle peppers with a fork into small peices and set aside add 1 tbsp finely chopped white onion and 2tbsp finely chopped cilantro to the bowl, then add 1/2 cup mayo and 1/4 cup sour cream and about 1/8 t (or 1/4t if you like garlic) garlic salt. Mix well, and serve on the side with your meat of choice! It's so good! You can transfer the leftover chipotle peppers into a small storage container and toss em in the fridge for when you want to make the sauce again as you get a lot in 1 can! I Chipotles!

Sandra if you look to page 3 and forward on this thread you will see our menus starting from day 1. We even put up our shopping lists LOL...
But for me a typical day was: Scrambled eggs and bacon or Fage Greek Yogurt with berries (sometimes I added heavy cream to it if I knew I'd be low that day) Two cups coffee with heavy cream snack: 15 macadamia nuts and two tablespoons coconut butter with cocoa powder Lunch: tuna salad with romaine made with dukes full fat mayo, celery etc. Snack: breve latte tall from starbucks dinner: chicken wings with blue cheese dressing (marie's) Snack: chocolate mug cake with heavy whipping cream or melon with cream All my cooking was with coconut oil, olive oil...if I made eggs I made them with heavy whipping cream in them, lots of butter in the pan. Also my husband was a chef so if he made me say, a 9 oz rib eye steak he would make a bernaise sauce or a creamy peppercorn sauce to put on top. This had a lot of butter and cream and yummy goodness. Calories added up quick with the cream sauces alone Last edited by SunnyFL; 12-11-2011 at 07:02 AM.. |

Thanks ladies
![]() I find having a before and after puts things in perspective. Talk about motivation! I don't want to be that chubby girl again ![]() That before picture was taken at a luncheon I had at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. I thought I looked all cute until I saw the picture...I actually started crying because I didn't realize how I had let myself go. It's denial at its finest. Needless to say I went to the Clinic the following day and began my HCG journey |

Sandra - Here's a link to Linda's LC recipes: http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/recipes.html
Also there's a thread in the main low carb lobby that is about Your Favorite Linda Sue Recipe. I was looking at it again this morning thinking about making the Cheeseburger Quiche but now do not see it on Linda Sue's website so asked one of the ladies where it is. Also the Lasagna Stuffed Peppers looks good!! |

Okay so I've been on here all morning! I don't have much to do today - actually planning on staying in my PJ's ALL DAY! I like to do this sometimes! I need to do a load of laundry, straighten up the house, finish writing out my Christmas cards & get in a Lifetime movie or two but have been looking around in the Main LC Lobby and on Linda's site looking for recipes to make.
I think I'm going to make a Pizza version of the Cheeseburger Quiche. I have some pepperoni on hand and am thinking of turning it into a sort of pizza quiche if I have the rest of the stuff I need! I just realized I don't have any mayo. I forgot to put it on my grocery list and I refuse to use DH miracle whip. YUCK! Not that I wanted to, but maybe I will run up to the store. I can be there and back in 5 minutes! I might get some pizza sauce and mayo. Thinking of using the pepper jack cheese as well and some italian seasonings. I love getting creative to cure my cravings! |

I'm in my PJ's too...lol
Heading to Whole Foods around 3 or so...I have no idea what hubby is cooking for dinner. Maybe steak? I feel like a steak... I had a fried egg sandwich this am with bacon, some cheese...it was divine. Just the fact I ate a sandwich had me all giddy. I am stuffed though, geesh... |

Good to know Sunny! I don't feel so bad! Have fun at WF! I used to love a breakfast sandwich! Thought about having my tuna salad for lunch on ww but may skip it...
Decided not to go to the store! Besides I had a bet w/ DH that I wasn't leaving the house today and he says his little phrase he always says "I bet you a dollar to a donut" and I said how about 50.00! LOL I think I can make the quiche just as good with eggs & hwc leaving out the mayo. That and the cheese should bind it. I've done my straigtening up of the house, got out all my ingredients to make the quiche and am about to go thru receipts and write up cards FINALLY! LOL Got a load of laundry going too! I'm staying off here for a couple of hours...see yall this evening! |

I'm back! LOL Laundry DONE, Christmas cards DONE, Dinner in the oven and made some goodies! It's a recipe for PB Cups like Reeses. I didn't have a mini muffin pan so used my regular size muffin pan. They are okay...I'd rather just eat the chocolate pudding w/ a spoon - which I did lick the spoon! I'm letting one sort of thaw out now even though the recipe said best eaten frozen. I used simply jif which has about 2g of sugar and maybe less than 7g carbs per 2 tbps. This is recipe I made:
PEG'S ICE CREAM REESE CUP • 1 package sugar free chocolate instant pudding • 1 cup heavy cream • 1 cup ice water • 2 tablespoons peanut butter Fill a mini muffin tin with small paper liners. Mix the pudding mix, heavy cream and ice water. Fill cups 1/2 full and then add 1/4 teaspoon peanut butter. Top with remaining pudding mix. Freeze until solid and then store in ziploc bag. Makes 24. Per Serving 42 Calories; 4g Fat (89.8% calories from fat); 1g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 14mg Cholesterol; 11mg Sodium. Still deciding on whether or not I like them. May need more sweetner to taste like a real reeses? Pizza Quiche in the oven so if it's good I'll post the recipe! |

Mmm all that sounds DEVINE! I am missing my wine, need to pick up a bottle this Friday night! I used to love those weird cheese/nut combo things! Haven't had any in a while. While I was at my Aunt's she fixed these little things - 1/2 a date topped w/ cranberry goat cheese...It was pretty good.
The pizza quiche didn't come out as I expected. I think I should have mixed the egg/hwc mixture INTO the meat mixture to better distribute it rather than pouring over it. I don't know, maybe I needed another egg or 2 or more hwc since I left out the mayo. I will def make it again. I will add mushrooms next time! This is the recipe - I modified it see the ## Linda Sues Recipe: CHEESEBURGER DELUXE QUICHE 1 pound ground beef 1/3 cup onion, chopped 6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced ##(didn't have) 1 small green pepper, diced, about 2 1/2 ounces Salt and pepper, to taste Dash garlic powder 2 eggs 1/2 cup mayonnaise ## (didn't use since doing more of a pizza type quiche) 1/4 cup heavy cream 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded ## added some parmesan cheese into the mix ## added 1 small can of tomato sauce mixed w/ italian seasonings & garlic/onion powder Brown the hamburger with the onion, mushrooms and green peppers; drain fat. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. ## Mixed the tomato sauce into the meat mixture. Beat the eggs in a small bowl; beat in the mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the cream; season with salt and pepper. Mix the meat and cheese in a greased 9-10" glass pie plate. Pour the custard mixture over the top. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes until done in the center. Makes 6-8 servings Can be frozen Per 1/6 Recipe: 482 Calories; 41g Fat; 25g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs There's always next time! Have a good evening everyone! I just placed an order for DH grandkids some stuff 2 Pandigital tablets & 2 Leapster Learning Systems. |

Natasha I added wine in P2 day 35 LOL...have had a glass almost every night since then. It's my thing..I'm a wino
![]() I hope I don't get sensitive next round. I will for sure be reading pounds and inches again to refresh myself for P2 and thank goodness we have this thread so we can go back and check what we did the first few weeks LOL...I also logged every single meal on my iphone on P2 so I'll have to go back to that. I want and need to stabilize this well as this will be my last round! Anyhow ladies, have a good night! I have chihuahuas to take outside and have to cook my lunch and breakfast |

Thanks ladies for all the great tips!!
I was up .8 this am. I know that my body is trying to stabalize. My LDW was 152.4 and I am at 151.8. However, i do think I added too many new foods in yesterday, including 2 glasses of wino! BTW Natasha I love watching the LMN Christmas movies, also! |

Sunny I love wine also, but didn't drink much in P2, as it did make me gain. Stuck to vodka!
Testing the waters in P3. Do you drink red or white wine? |

Your weight will fluctuate, all part of this amazing stabilization! I never thought I'd be having whole grains and starches and sugars again with no issue but I am! the real test comes Friday where we girls get together an play Bunco! I haven't gone to a get together since September so as not to tempt myself. I pretty much became a hermit during P2 lol!
As for wines I stick mostly with red because white wine tastes too sweet to me now but I've tried wine (Thanksgiving I had 3 glasses) without a gain. I had a white table wine mix, Conundrum, it's my fav. But it's also too easy for me to overdo white whine whereas I nurse red wine and savor it more ![]() So just got up and weighed myself, I'm at 156 even today so back to my LDW. Maybe because I'm adding grains I'm eating less since I get fuller quicker? I do know my bathroom trips are like clockwork now lol, seems my body likes grains ![]() Having fage with blackberries for breakfast, macadamia nuts for snack, leftover wings with blue cheese for lunch and steak for dinner with sweet potatoes Have a good day ladies!!!
