I just finished my 9th day and down 10.2 lbs from my pre load weight. Do the big weight losses keep coming or will it slow down in week 2? I have gotten quite a few people interested in hHcg with my progress.

This message board is really helping me through this process. I do have one question...what do you do for severe PEANUT butter cravings??? My guess is ignore it, but i really need something sweet and salty. Tonight i watched my kids devour icecream with toppings right in front of me. Arg!

I finished my second day and am down 3.75# from my pre-load weight - it would be fantastic to continue losing at this rate but I seriously doubt it will happen. Already my belly is a bit flatter, it seems.

jsd79 - maybe if you asked your kids for their help with your diet? They might like to make a game of "not eating in front of Mom" and looking for positive reinforcements for you. Explain how hard it is, and then tell them about some "horror stories" where kids deliberately sabotaged their parents' diet efforts, and how they are just so much nicer ... might work?

I am down 11 lbs. I counted post-loading. I SHOULD have weighed pre-load, but I figure, I gained it, it counts when I lose it.

I have had no loss in 4 days!!!! WTH! I am fighting every craving and working so hard about following to the T. I really do not want to do an apple or steak day!!!!
Very frustrated. Eating 500 cals a day should produce a weight loss...arhhhhhhhh

How long have you been on your round? Can you give an example of what you eat and drink for the day?

Sure. I start the day with coffee and stevia, lunch is usually 4 oz of grilled chicken breast and brocolli ( or another veggie) and dinner is either steak/beef/ or shrimp with grilled asapargus or spinach. I use only HCG appoved products for spices and never use dressing.

I did a steak day yesterday and NOTHING! I havent lost an ounce since last monday. HELP!!

ohhhh, did I EVER have peanut butter cravings during my first round. like, insane cravings. I actually would find myself sitting at work, staring into space, thinking of peanut butter. talk about serious WTH moments.

Are you trying to stay on Dr. Simeon's Protocol? I know there are several versions that people are finding success on. I have been trying to follow the plan exactly as it is written in Pounds & Inches. So, that's the only thing I have to base my suggestions on. I don't think broccoli is listed in Pounds and Inches as a veggie to have on Phase 2. If you are not trying to stay on strict protocol, then that might not matter.

You didn't mention melba toast or a fruit. You might not be eating enough. If you haven't been eating your toast or fruit, you might try adding those in and see if it helps. Also, measuring your protein might be helpful too. In Pounds and Inches, he said 100g of protein and that is the precooked weight.

I am staying on the protocol from diyhgc.com. Eveyone i know who has done it has lost significant weight. Even after my steak day, nothing. I'm on day 9 with no weight loss and feel like it is a total waste! Today will be hard watching everyone eat and i will eat on plan and probably still not lose. I'm frustrated and totally at a loss. .

I made the decision to cut my R1P4 short by a couple weeks, I'm loading today and tomorrow and vlcd R2P2 on Monday!!!

I am doing a short round before the holdiays, I am hoping to see a 15-20 lb loss, that would be awesome!

I have to say, my loading this round has been a serious case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach. I went to one of my fav Mexican food resteraunts for lunch today and I was only able to eat half of my plate, the same amount as my pre-pubescent son :O
I used to be able to eat that entire plate in my pre HCG days, not anylonger, lol.

I was bobbing around on the same 2 lbs for about 5 days, then decided to try a high fat day. my calories came in around 750, almost all of it from fat, and dropped those lbs from it. so suffice to say, I'm doing another fat day tomorrow, and possibly monday. my last day of pellets is on monday, so I want to try to milk it if at all possible.

Well, I'm at 140.5 today - the weight I hit on R1VLCD5 - I'm frustrated!

Sure hope my weight goes down tomorrow and doesn't bounce up a bit as it has been ... I would be so very, very happy to see a 15 pound weight loss with HCG!

I'm tweaking the diet a bit - eating some more protein (trying to get to 50g), only 1 apple/day - maybe one cracker? - any other suggestions?

Everyone seems to be losing so nicely, and in a pretty-much linear fashion.

I doubt that there's anything wrong with my drops, I have no appetite/hunger so I think they're working ...

So WHY CAN'T I LOSE WEIGHT!!!

I would say get rid of the fruit and grains altogether and increase your protein.

I just had a peek at my calendar, and I definitely won't be doing a fat day tomorrow. darn it.
