Argh -- I am up a full pound today
I actually had a feeling I might be up -- feeling bloated and overdue for a good visit from Bernice. Still grumpy making, particularly since I was a paragon of rogue p2 virtue yesterday. I have to learn not to stress these ups and downs and stalls -- they happen -- and I know that eventually that will drop off and then some. I will keep doing this round as is for at least another week, but if that doesn't get the scale moving down, I am going to change course... looking over my numbers from the past couple of weeks, this has just been bouncing up and down the same few pounds... and I am really ready to move past that. If I need to go strict protocol for a while, so be it. At this rate, all I am doing is basically maintaining on 1000 calories, and I do hope that isn't a long term pattern ....

I think I am going to try to keep to 500 calories a day for a few days, and see if I can break this stall. I just had breakfast (apple bake, and a protein shake) and will see if I can keep it to just tea and other no cal or very low cal liquids for the rest of the day.
I'm not relishing the idea much, but I am committed to finishing what I started here. |

Oops! I wonder if I can edit that... I think the mods have to do it.... anyone know how to fix a thread title? I should never do anything permanent before 7 in the morning...ever!
I will not be derailed by this silly gain.... I will not. |

Good morning in P2 day 27, Decided to try a Fat Fast Sunday.
It was difficult for me as eating no proteins and veggies is a real stretch for me. I did a 92% fat 1080 calorie day. Did well and broke through a troublesome set point and lost -1.8 lbs Has anybody else done a fat fast? Looking for more info but have not seen much in the way of info out there. Have a great Monday. |

Good morning ladies! I am sure we will all see a nice drop tomorrow - Mondays and scales are a bad combo.
I am stalled out since Friday. I got a little more Rogue-ish this week and upped my fat intake. So I am telling myself that I will see a nice big drop tomorrow. I took my son on a 2 hr hike yesterday. He just turned 7 and I figured he would hate it and we would only be gone for 30 min. He loved it and just wanted to keep going - so we did. It was great!! My little hikin' buddy!

(Yes; I think the Mods need to correct the title of the thread. I've been bitten by the too early in the morning to be posting bug before, too.) Sorry you had a bump up. ![]() Quote:

I am UP A FULL POUND out of my window. So doing a CD today. Steak it is!
I'm not feeling well today. Maybe its eating things I haven't had in a while. I've never eaten much fat. I'm one of the fat free dieters. I just want to sleep. Have a nice day everyone! |

Tammy, sorry you are up 3 lbs today. I found it very helpful to go lightly into P3. I know I suggested this before but it bears repeating. It took me over a week to build up my calories and fats and still I avoided tons of fat like butter. If I could get by with the zero cal butter spray, I used that. It makes sense to keep calories and fat moderate. I know everyone says to eat to your maximum (calories for your size, age, etc) but I don't see the balance in that.
All I know is that I did great in my P3 and I hate to see others struggling in theirs. Enjoy your steak and chew on that info for future reference. ![]() |

Hello everyone I need some advice, I have been well p2/p2 since may only down 20 pounds total, not *****ing as I went on vacation, then had company, ok so now no excuses, I just cannot do the strict protocol anymore. I end up adding protein or veggies and feeling guilty, I would like to up it, but not sure how much, I would like to add popcorn instead of the grissini, skip a fruit, or? I guess sorta like the owl plan. I have not worked out as of yet, I am to concerned that if I start I will have to jog daily to keep my weight maintained. I need to lose 27 more pounds, any suggestions, I have the intermountain drops. Thanks Mary

I'm slowing down my eating and stopped the all-out frenzy I was in for a week or more and today I'm down a few! I think it's 3.4! So, that was some of the water I was retaining. I'm sure I still have more water on board since I'm not limiting sodium at the moment. I'll see where I land in a few days.

I have eaten the popcorn all along and did fine with it. I don't think it matters if you eat the fruit but I enjoyed it. |

Hi All, I did HCG earlier this year, I have been done with strict protocol for about 2-3 months. I am starting to slack, and I think I am going to do another round to get back on track, and maybe take off another 10. Today would be my first loading day. I do not want to do Simeon's strict protocol this time, I thought maybe I would try the OWL diet this time. It says no dairy on there, but is there anything I can buy to put in my coffee if I like milk in my coffee?? Right now I use Soy Slender, which has very few carbs in it. Do you do the 3 week, no sugar, no starch with this plan also?? Thanks for the tips.

![]() First Fat Fast. Got spoiled yesterday having Coffee with cream, but I'm back to VLCD no fat protocol. Have had problems this round with stagnant losses, a 10 day stall ,even gains with clean eating. Very happy to have busted through a set point today. Which was 155 lbs (pre-pregnancy weight). That was my same weight after I had my son too...so it is a troublesome number. |

I am in sympathy with all the gainers. I do expect some weekend gain since I do both days as Up Days on JUDDD, but was surprised with 2.6 this morning. Today is my down day, so hoping it all comes off today. I peeked at the scale this afternoon...and I think (hope) I'll be pleasantly surprised tomorrow morning. |

Hi All,
AGGHHH this Monday is sucking. Can't wake up. I hate daylight savings time, another reason to move to Arizona! Anyway I was 198.5, up .5 from yesterday but up 2.0 from Saturday . I have been STARVING and craving sugar, carbs, sugar, carbs and bacon. I had a waffle for breakfast yesterday (it reall didn't taste good, but I was so tired of depriving myself).I can now see why a 21 day plan is a good idea... but I'm determined to keep at this until 11/18.. I'm going to order pellets today since my bottle of drops is almost gone and I don't want to open another one for just a few more days. Keep on going ladies: if I can't do it, maybe you should! |

![]() The plan really is HARD, and gets harder as the weeks go by. My first round was 35 days, and after that, I said never again, and stuck to short rounds. And of course, now I only go one day at a time, then Up day on the JUDDD plan right now. Committing is hard... Usually by the third week of protocol I'm pretty sure I was partly insane...couldn't type right, short tempered, a real lot of fun for my family to live with. ![]() ![]()

but, I know that you can break it. I went to the gym today and did weight training and cardio. Sheesh, I was really tired. I sure hope I can maintain P2 and weight training. I am just beginning to see results. I hope I don't have to make a choice ![]() By the way, has anyone eaten grilled tofu on this protocol. I had some today and I loved it. What about FF sundried tomatoe dressing? Any thoughts. Thanks!!! ![]() |
