Well, whatever else the day brings... I am DOWN 1.2 lbs Oh, please let this be the beginning of the end of this stall!!!!

It's fat fast again for me -- and probably for as long as the losses continue.

Quite hungry this morning -- hope this one meal manages to satisfy -- I am on the road all day and won't eat again today. I'll end up in the 1000 calorie range, and that's fine ... that does the trick in most cases. Fat calories add up quickly!

Good call going back on the drops.

Well, just my luck, my weight went up again this morning 1 lb. Must just be a normal fluctuation, cuz I did not eat badly or do anything different, so guess I will have to hope for 140s tomorrow then!! I was so hoping for today!!!

Minimo... I am glad you had a drop today and hope things settle out for you soon!!!

Carrie, boo!! Of course, no new decade today.... Maybe tomorrow!! I seem to be doing this up/down thing, so maybe its part of the new "pattern" I am going to try to stay positive and see it through for tomorrow!!!

YEP!

Do what you have to do and just settle into that decision. You second guess yourself so much, Mini. It's tortuous just to watch from the sidelines! I don't want to see you writhing in discomfort. It's okay! It's okay. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself room to move. We love you!

I don't think it's just splenda because I use that liquid Ez Sweetz all the time with no ill-effect. But there must be some ingredient in the DaVinci syrups that has just grown to bother me. It didn't use to in the beginning. Maybe it got worse when I began making my own flavored coffee creamers. That can be a heavy load! I was doing 2:1 rations on the LWC and the syrup. I'll cut it back some when I make the new batch, preparing for Atkins on Saturday.

These emoticons are just not cutting it. I want to hug you so bad! I've heard it said that skinny people never drink diet soda's or eat diet plates when they go out to eat, etc. Maybe the whole dieting mentality is a disease in itself!

WOW! Nice whoosh, Star! Pass that fairy along now. Don't be stingy! I think I could eat a vegetarian lifestyle but only if I could have eggs and dairy. Without cheese, eggs and cream, it would be ROUGH.

It's really late and the sleep drugs are going to be kicking in. Then I can't be held accountable for what I say (or type) so I must depart for now. I love you ladies and I want to support you in any way that I can. Please keep your eyes on the bigger picture! The horizon is a heck of a long way ahead of us, and to be honest, we never get there. It's always "out there"! But that's okay because we have it to shoot for. Like the stars in the sky! We can't count them or own them but we can enjoy them as though they were our own.

See? I need to sign off now. Good night! Sweetest of dreams and may the whoosh fairy visit us all during the night.

Cathy -- sorry about the bump up -- boy do I know about those fluctuations, and they are frustrating!

Just keep eating well, and the weight will come off -- sometimes it takes its own sweet time doing it, though... hmph!!

I had some Kale Chips yesterday from Whole Foods (Well, I only had a taste because of the diet) and it was AWESOME. Yummy. One of my new vegan foods.

I also brought some FF 100? Coconut water from Whole Foods. It is good for electrolyte replacement. Since I am working out I think that will be good for me. Tired today and I need to do cardio. It seems like after weight training day the next day is a down day for me.

HEXA - I too am a former vegetarian/vegan. Ethically, Environmentally, overall health were my reasons. However, I just felt lethargic all the time and gained almost 30 pounds. I thought if I stuck to it that it would all work out. Those that write vegan books and say if you follow this the weight will just fall off either have a great metabolism or are just flat out lying. It bothers me to eat this way. I spend more money to get food from a local farm instead of buying factory farmed beef and chicken. I am broke but my mind is eased a bit.

Way to go on the losses MINI and TAY!!

Cathy - You will drop and then some, I am sure of it!! Hang in there!

I did finally get my WHOOSH! Down 1.6 today. YAY!

Have a great day ladies!

Decided not to weigh after all and I got busy with the kids so I forgot all about it anyways.
I'm exhausted. I'm debating a slight ramp up until post marathon starting tomorrow instead of Saturday. I don't want to be too carb deprived for the race. I know everything I consume will be used during the 26.2 miles, but I hate to see this hard work come to a halt you know? I Just ate a huge lunch and am done for the day except maybe some tea and coffee. Going to weigh my options and decide this evening

cheryl...hope you have a fabulous day! hope your family day escapes the rain! and i gotta ask...i have wondered ever since you first talked about it....WHAT is a Jack & Jill party? best i could come up with was a boy/girl party....LOL!!

cathy...i HOPE you get to see a new decade today.

i'm sorry for those i missed...i am *terrible* with personals so i shouldn't even bother and just give every one a woohoo and a where needed....hope you ALL have a great day!

P2 going well here. today i am having a planned lunch date with a friend that i planned before my sudden urge to do a P2. going to go with subway salad. can't be too detrimental. it will probably be all i have for the day.

noah's good. an easy treatment tomorrow, then his big one next week. our pastor booked a band to hold a benefit concert and supper for noah/us on the 19th. unbeknownst to him, that is his big treatment weekend, so we won't be able to attend the concert. but may try and set up computers to skype in and say hey. will have to see how it goes.
You're the second person to ask me that today! I thought it was a common term. It's a wedding shower for both the bride and groom. They are both going to be out here for a brief period of time so my sister decided to seize the moment and throw them a big party.

Thanks for wishing the rain away! So far it's just gloomy but not too bad.

What terrible timing! I wish you and Noah could attend the benefit concert! What a wonderful thing for your pastor to do for all of you. I really hope you can attend. Maybe it won't be as difficult as the last few "big ones" were.

And you are not terrible at personals. This was a great post!

I'm sorry, Cathy. I thought for sure you'd beat me to the new decade after my eggnog episode yesterday. The first time I weighed I was down 0.4 and that still kept me in the 70's. But then Bernice showed up before I'd eaten or drank anything and I reweighed. I was 169.6! Holy Toledo! Didn't expect that at all.

Don't be blue, Cathy. It will happen. Maybe you should go buy a quart of eggnog and have a liquid day! I didn't eat any solid food yesterday. Maybe that helped.

I'm going to have to locate a Whole Foods near me. I don't know if we even have those in CT. I'd love to try those Kale chips. I've heard lots of people enjoy them and even make their own. I love kale in a sausage soup that I make when doing LC. Going to buy me some soon.

Never heard of that FF 100 either. Going to have to do some googling.

I'm growing more aware of how awful the conditions are for the livestock and how terrible it is to eat things with who-knows-what in them. (Antibiotics, hormones, and fed things that are unnatural to the animal.) I applaud you for spending more for better food options.

The dread is the hard part. Try not to look at it and just prepare the area, pull off the cap (with your eyes closed) and do it.

Thats kind of what I'm leaning towards Cheryl. I might start tomorrow evening at dinner and just carb up through the race. I'll have some post marathon as well. I just would hate to bonk because I'm not well fed. I'm just worried because carbs lead me down a BAD path and I can easily end up with another 4 days binge if I'm not careful. I'm going to have to really plan it. The good news is that we will be out of town so I won't be home to eat and eat

Woot! I bet that's just what you needed, I know my 2 pounds yesterday were a huge motivation. You are doing awesome despite all your road blocks

cathy...so glad you enjoyed the muffin...kind of nice to have a little chocolate heaven in the midst of the grueling P2....even if it is rather rogue.

thanks, cheryl...i would love to have him home by sat evening, but it's just not been the norm as all that vomiting during the night friday night just wipes him clear out and he literally passes out for nearly 24 hrs getting up only to pee...REGARDLESS i will still pray for an easy big treatment.

and ahhh, a wedding shower...never heard it referred to as a jack and jill party. sounds like fun!
