Do you have any symptoms of Vit D deficiency? I don't even know what they are!

when I researched the symptoms I found out I actually do have some of the symptoms. I couldn't believe it. I have stiff joints that kill me almost daily. I would just suck it up. I finally started taking Mortin 800 mg because I couldn't take it anymore once I started weight training. It's crazy.

Question

I have a training appointment in the morning. If I take a B12 injection tonight will it keep me up tonight and how quickly does it go into effect? I don't want to stay up all night and be too tired to train in the morning. I was too whipped to go to the gym today. I am hoping tomorrow will be good. Increased protein intake today. I don't eat fruit or carbs because I am a diabetic and it affects my Blood Glucose. I can tell you my diabetes just loves P2. But not my stomach

I wouldn't do the B-12 shot this late in the day. If you ended up doing it, I hope you don't "live + learn"!

Achey joints is a sign of low vit D??? I wonder if that is part of my problem. I was thinking it was the weight regain but maybe it's more than that. Hmmmm...

Star, sorry day 1 is rough! I recall way back when I was in my first day or two, I went through a mood thing. Somewhat hungry but it was a strange hungry sensation. Don't throw in the towel! It gets better!!

Goodnight, ladies. Time for bed.

thanks, cheryl! I forgot how it just ruins my energy levels at first. I'm in at 750 calories for the day, tomorrow will be 500, I think. suffice to say...I didn't make it to yoga. TOM was supposed to show up today too, but he's a jerk, so he's not here yet. hahaha! can I pick a start day or what?

This has reminded me that it's time for me to start taking my vitamin d capsules. I don't during the summer when I'm in the pool almost every day...but it's been months now.

Vitamin D all around, ladies!

I made it through the whole day without hunger, which is rather astounding -- but I did get a headache and a bit of a woozy feeling mid afternoon.

Hoping for some scale love in the morning, but not at all counting on it, because I feel I have taken in a lot more liquid today than I have eliminated -- but maybe that will change.

But, I did make it through a low calorie fat fast, and it was pretty seriously easy all things considered. I think I will do it again tomorrow.

If I am not starving in the morning, I will wait until later in the day to eat tomorrow, too -- I haven't eaten since about 6 this morning, and so far it is fine. I will keep the fast going as long as I am not ravenous.

This had better work. If it doesn't ... well, I'll do something else until I find what does ...lol. If I really can't break the stall I will do p3 for a bit and get really stable, but that is a last resort. I will give the low cal/high fat thing a good week before making any decisions -- my gut feeling is that this may be the answer I've been looking for.

I got a PM tonight from a diligent maintainer who has just gained 5 lbs from stress alone -- hasn't changed a thing eating wise, after maintaining for many, many weeks... so stress may well be a big player in all this -- it was interesting timing, like a message from the universe (if I were that cosmic, which I'm not exactly....) -- but it was a good reminder how much stress can affect weight.

I am going to take my vitamins tonight, and get a truly good night's sleep. I've been working nonstop since 9 am, and the rest of the work that didn't get done today is simply going to wait until tomorrow, even though a couple of things will have to get turned in late. I doubt the world will end as a result.

Wow, huge drop!

I am also back down to Sunday's weight after my first Up day this week - I'm back to 126.2 - 1.2 drop overnight. It's nice when that "imaginary" weight drops back off.

So excited to be ready for fresh weight this early in the week! Now watch me maintain 126.2 for the next 5 days...

My first day back on HCG. I weighed in at 140.8. I weighed myself 3 days ago, and I was 136 something. My fingers look like sausages! I had some taco chicken yesterday, and it obviously bloats me up!! I am only going to do a 2-week round. I have read many different opinions on this on many different websites, but that is the decision I have made. I am going to follow OWL program this time.

in your reading, does it talk about stabilizing with only doing 14 days? is it as successful as a 21 day round?

Down .4 today -- not a big drop, but I'll take it. At least it is a drop

Not hungry this morning, which is a bit of a miracle in itself... I am generally starving in the morning. I think I will run with that and wait until later in the day to eat.

I'm going for another low cal fat fast today -- I will work that as long as I can manage it.

Decided I might do well to put something in my belly, so I added some coconut milk (full fat) to my coffee, and some splenda (I refuse to give up my splenda!)

Weird thing is, it totally filled me up! I feel like I just ate a big meal --- the fat fast rocks!

I wonder if I could just do this all the way to goal? If it happened quickly enough, I probably could.... I don't want to do it for months on end, but a couple of weeks I could definitely do.

For now, that is the plan ... low calorie fat fast as long as I can stand it.

I suspect I will get a whoosh sometime in the next few days -- but even if I don't, if I can sustain steady and regular losses, that's fine with me.

Hi everyone... it's been a LONG time!

I can't seem to get myself on the hhcg bandwagon and I'm not sure I NEED to but I want to drop some pounds before the holidays. Recap for those that forget. My highest weight ever was 287 lost most of my weight low carbing with the carb addicts plan, I've done some short rounds of hhcg. My goal was 150. I hit that on July 4th, and then played around in the 150s until October. Today I'm at 148. My lowest has been 145. After hitting 150 I decided to go for a few more. Even after hitting 145 I thought I should drop a few more. I'm currently in a size 5/6. I'm not sure where I want to be but I think I need to go into the holidays just a few lower. Plus I honestly love to have a good fasting period right before a big holiday as it makes me feel better.

Anyway, so back to hhcg I go! I'll start Saturday and go for 2 weeks. I will be adding an extra 200-300 calories. I run 4-5 miles each day and I'm not giving that up! I'd love to see 139 which is doable. I'm only loading Friday night. My body doesn't like the loading and I'll be adding some fat daily (coconut oil or peanuts) daily for the extra calories so I'm not worried about hunger.

What do you think? Saturday I'll cook all day. I'm going easy with beef and cabbage soup, phase 2 chili, the fire roasted tomato soup, some chicken breast, some ground turkey patties, cottage cheese and eggs. As for veggies I'm sticking with mostly cabbage and tomatoes as I have ton of both from my gardens. I have Thanksgiving planned already as a small cheat- going to low carb it though which I find easy to do on Thanksgiving. The following Sunday is my family's Thanksgiving. That's where I know I'll do some cheating. Anyway, I'll try to be a good friend this time around and not disappear!

Minimo, 0.4 is better than up right???

DP, glad you had a nice drop!!

Melanie, good to see you again! You have done very well to maintain then all this time at 148, good job!!! Welcome back as well!!!

VLCD19 for me, down total of 8.8, not spectacular, but I will take it.

So I was down 2.6 this morning, which is 1.4 of my UP from yesterday for no reason and then 1.2 from a couple days ago, and I am now sitting just 0.4 from a new decade. I will cross all my fingers and toes tonight for 149...something tomorrow!!!! I will eat so good today!

Have a great "hump" day everyone!

I just read that if you hit your weight goal after 12 days, do your 3 days w/o HCG, and then go to phase 3. I may go 21 days, I just want to see where it all takes me. I am not far from where I was. When I stopped doing HCG, I was 134. Three days ago, I weighed 136. I could still lose 10 more lbs. but I am happy in a 6. I just have been going thru some hard times, and in my depression, I am burying myself in food. I just want to get back on track, and maybe take a few more off before the holidays come. I forgot everything I learned on HCG, so I need to relearn it again.

thanks, lori...i would like to lose as much as 10....but my full R2 i lost 7 or 8. so i doubt i'd see a drop of 10 in just 14 days, but would also settle for a 6.8 lb drop too....so the idea sure intrigues me. do you have any references you can give of where you were reading about 14 day cycles?

and i hope you get the control back you desire....i know how that feels...

and cathy!! awesome drop for you! congrats...that new decade is right aound the corner....stay motivated, chickie! the carbs aren't worth missing out on that new decade, right??

Well, I do not know how great of a reference this is, but my friend who told me about HCG sent me P&I via email, and she also sent me a Quick Start Reference Guide. There is nothing on here about who put this together, maybe her friend who coached her thru HCG put this together, I don't know. I used this the first time for quick questions, and I used P&I. I never cheated, and I successfully did a full 21 day round. I cheated on my 3 week P3, that is where I messed up.

Hello, ladies! Welcome back, Melanie. WTG on maintaining your losses and continuing your running. You've come a long way from 287! You still catching flack from family about being too skinny? Just wait and see what they say if you drop into the 130's! I'm glad I won't be around to witness that. I'm looking forward to the day my Mom or someone says that to me, but just once.

Nice losses, girls! I can join you on that. I dropped another 1.2 of the regain weight. Cathy, I think we'll both be in a new decade tomorrow! I don't feel well in the 170's at all, after being nearly in the 150's. I remember when I was first coming down the scale and got near 180. I felt so great that I took pics, including full-body pics (that's when I took the avi photo.) If I was 180 now, I'd feel humongous!

All morning long I've been hearing chainsaws and now leaf blowers going. The storm clean up won't be finished for many until spring rolls back around. Some guy's going around my area and leaving notes that he will be happy to clean up our broken tree limbs for a fee. He says he needs to take a closer look to quote a price. I may call him.

Jack & Jill party tomorrow at 5 and then Saturday I start Atkins for the remainder of 2011. That's how I plan to lose more of the regain (and possibly some Virgin weight along with it) and still be able to enjoy the holidays.

Have a wonderful day today, ladies! See you later.

No, I never think they are worth it, (the carbs) but.... does not stop me craving them either! I am hoping that is comes tomorrow. My luck... it will be 150.0!! or worse, it will go up like yesterday!! I will keep positive thoughts. Of course, I saw 149.0 after exercise this morning, but that does not count, cuz I was just "sweated" from my jog... so here's to 149.something tomorrow!!!

Me and you then Cheryl, lets do it!! I dont ever want to come back to the 150s either!!! I want only 130s or 140s from here on out!! I feel humungous too when I get to 160 or worse, when I load and almost get back to 170s!! UGH!! Lets not do that anymore!!

I have been M.I.A. for a few days. Really need to stick around so I can start learning everyone's name!

I stalled over the weekend. I thought I would get a big whoosh, but that didn't happen. I have lost .6 lbs every day for the last 3 days so I guess I should be happy with that. (I am greedy though and really wanted that whoosh!)

For those of you that do the Fat Fast, what exactly do you eat? I could eat nuts and cheese all day and be very happy. Are those on the list?

Is it Friday yet?

Hi All,

Seems like everyone is losing today! But not me

To chear me up, I measured: 2 inces off my waist and chest (each) and a inch and half off each thigh.

I got so excited when the weight was flying off, I got my heart set on hitting 190, but now I remember, I really didn't think I'd get there. I hope to get to 195.

P3 starts in 11 days but I'm not sure I can make it that far, I'm starving and exhausted. Will take some Vit D tomorrow morning.

VLCD32 Sitting at 198, lost 19.5 lbs and 7 inches of FAT.

Cheryl, Its gotten worse, but we are entering sweater season now so if I don't want them to see my progress I just hide. To be honest I don't think I will ever be happy with my weight and the thought of NOT dieting scares the pants off of me. I've been doing this 8 years now! The plan is to go talk to someone after the first of the year. I need to watch my intake during the holidays as I can't resisit all the yummy treats!

Cathy- Looks like it's been a long road for you huh? You'll see that new decade tomorrow. Seems like we're always neck and neck on weight.

Oh and for those that are wondering, unless it's in my stats, I'm 5'8". To be honest 145-150 looks great on me as I'm sure I've built up quite a bit of muscle with the running!

Can't wait to get going. As for now I'm trying to get my meals planned. It makes it that much easier. I find the soups very filling and comforting when its cold so I plan on sticking to making lots and lots of soups! Oh and no breadsticks, no fruit unless I really feel I need it one day. Mostly veggies and protein with some added fat as my ability to run a decent speed plummets while I'm on hhcg!
