Lildrew...sad face....today WILL BE A NEW DAY! hugs!
Felina, so granted! I tried the low carb and did great at first. Then I think I got too much into the desserts (LOL), and hCG worked great for me. |

I followed the dosing directions to the letter - never vary. My husband does not. He doesn't hold the drops under his tongue for two minutes...doesn't wait 15 minutes before or after taking the drops to take anything else by mouth...seems comparatively haphazard about the dosing BUT he's losing twice the weight at twice the speed I am! Go figure! If I tried to free-style the drops like he does, I would gain weight! Encouraged when I stepped on the scale this morning. I'd lost -1.1 lb! My best single-day loss yet! Woo hoo! Some days the scale is my friend. ![]() |

Down 17 pounds - that's awesome! On our first round, my hubs lost 35 pounds in 40 days!!! Phenomenal! In the same period, I stalled twice and lost a whopping 17.8 pounds in 40 days. Ya know - I'll take what I can get and celebrate every single ounce I can say goodbye to! Now we're on round 2, and I've lost 5.5 pounds in eight days, he's lost 12. So proud of my guy! Love being married to this awesome loser! LOL

R1VLCD5 I've lost 5.5 lbs so far. I haven't been very hungry on this diet, but I have felt horrible. It started with the headaches and feeling dizzy. This morning I woke up retaining a lot of water. I felt swollen. That went away as the day progressed, but when I got up to go to the kitchen a few minutes ago I almost blacked out. I quickly got to the ground before I lost consciousness. I can't seem to think right now. I went in the kitchen and ate a tsp of coconut oil thinking I might need the fat and the calories. I feel horrible. I'm wondering if I need to increase my calories. Did anyone else feel this bad when they started the VLC portion of the diet? My husband did the diet during the summer and never had any problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Me too!!! He's doing wonderfully. Machis, isn't this a great diet. I'm so happy to have dh getting healthier. I was on R2 when he decided he wanted to give it a try. He was such a wonderful support system for me....he encouraged me daily......he read P&I and when I didn't lose or even gained a few ounces on a day...he would quote the protocol. I too, am so proud of him!!!
You two have done great!!! Good luck to you on R2!! nmorgen, I'm so sorry you are having issues with this. Sounds like a real detox reaction may be the culprit. Are you using hcg!! If you are trying to do the 500 calories WITHOUT hcg this explains everything!!! You can not do this...your body will do exactly what it is doing!!! If I misunderstood I'm sorry!!! Give us more information! |

Hi Katiesmemaw,
I am taking prescription HCG. I wouldn't try this diet without the HCG. I'm not sure what other information to provide. I'm following the the Simeons protocol. Last night I went to bed early because I didn't feel very well. I woke up in the middle of the night with my heart racing. I got up and drank a glass of milk, and I felt a lot better. Maybe I need more calories or carbs? Not really sure, but I know I felt better after the milk. I still had a 2 lb loss this morning. |
