Thanks! As I expected though, today the scale was +1.6 ... there's a lot going on for me right now, so not sure if that's affecting the scale in any wonky way, but when I look at the bigger picture, since Monday I've lost 1lb total .... in days past I used to be lucky if I lost that in a week!

Smooth Move tea is made with senna, a very effective herbal laxative. Start easy, though. It's been known to cause gas and cramps if you get too much. Keeping up with making & steeping tea can be a bother, though, unless you have an extremely stable schedule. I have found that it works better for my hectic lifestyle to use the senna tablets. Does Netrition offer those? They aren't very expensive and they're very effective.

It's really tough to lose weight when food is going into your body, but not much is leaving.

VLCD#10 and I was down -1.1 today :-)

Had a really good day food wise, until tonight. Went to an unplanned unexpected family visit, which ended up being more like a family reunion. There was fried foods, lots of cheese and cake and one small veggie tray. I stuck to the veggie tray, grape tomatoes saved me! Instead of reaching for the bad stuff that didnt even look good to me!
The fun part of the night was seeing about a dozen family members who hadn't seen me since I've lost my 40 plus pounds. Several of my aunts and uncle didnt recognize me!
They kept commenting on my weight, and that my hair was darker, way different, and that I looked like a new person.
Yay!!!! That was just the boost of confidence I needed in this round. I can keep pushing through for a few more weeks!!!

The next time I do a P2 round it has to be planned no where close to holiday times. I thought I had worked it out far enough away from Christmas, ending my P2 on around Nov 19th for a 43 day round.
Family dictates we go out for family functions, and have been told to order from the menu. How the heck am I going to recuperate from 3 days in a row going to restaurants? (These are non-forgiving high carb style food) So frustrated and grumpy...
Only 10 days left on my protocol. I don't know if I can get P2 back on course before the end of my round as my body wants to stall and gain while on P2. The weightloss has been a stuggle on round 2, and it doesn't help with TOM plus cravings.

It's either I extend the P2 and try my best for a Christmas P3 style, or end the round as I have planned and hope for the best...

Is anybody here doing P2 through Christmas, or will be just entering P3 during that time? I'm crossing my fingers I don't fall off the wagon and gain weight from Christmas...What would you suggest?

Daisy, sorry I can't offer any advice, I am a Newbie and really have not dealt with the whole eating out issue. I planned my first round before the holidays.

VLCD#11 down another .6 for a total of -6.8 (without loading) or -12.4 with loading......for a grand total of 44.5 lbs since June on R1 and now R2! Loving HCG :-)

R3P2VLCD11 down 1.8 pounds.

Resolved potty issues and back on track losing Happy to be back at over 50 pounds released with HCG, now looking forward to ONEderland some time next week!! Can't wait to get there, it's been about 6 years. My goal for this round is in the low 190's and stabilizing there until after New Years, when I will hopefully be doing my last round.

I've been contemplating the holidays as well, I've decided that I'm doing so well, that I'm gonna stay on P2 over Thanksgiving but ending in time to be on P4 by Christmas.

When are the 3 days in restaurants? Thanksgiving or Christmas? If they are soon, you might be better off to end your round a few days early and go to P3, it's pretty easy to eat out on P3 - salads and grilled chicken, cesar salads, etc.

Or you can do an interruption for Thanksgiving. I considered that, but want to be on P4 for Christmas, so I decided against that.

Just remember that nobody can force you to eat something that you don't need to eat. You an usually find a piece of grilled chicken and most resaurants have steamed veggies. You can eat out on P2, I've done it, even at mexican restaurants - lean fajita meat, and a lettuce/tomato salad topped with salsa. You will just have to decide how strong you can be eating out - good luck with your decision!!

Well, just my luck, my weight went up again this morning 1 lb. Must just be a normal fluctuation, cuz I did not eat badly or do anything different, so guess I will have to hope for 140s tomorrow then!! I was so hoping for today!!!

Daisy, I am going to be on a P3 interruption for Thanksgiving/Birthday (which is 4 days after Thanksgiving) and then go back to P2, and then be on P3 by Christmas....

VLCD15, 185.6, so that is +.2 from Sunday am's weight....SO glad I didn't weigh in the last few days!! I would have seriously had a mental problem!! TOM reared it's ugly head last nite finally, so I am back on track, peeing like crazy...yesterday I probably peed 15 times and 6 times already this am, not counting the 1 time in the middle of the nite!! TMI I know, sorry lol!!

18 days til P3...c'mon 170's!!

I think I will just do an interruption for Thanksgiving, then get right back on with P2 for a few weeks. I would like to lose 20 pounds before Christmas if possible.

My Carb-a-holic hubby said dinner out tonight..all they have is breaded meat served with sourcraut and potatoes ...

3 days in a row dinner out :today , tomorrow nov 11th, and Saturday. Hubby won't go out unless I order food that has carbs..what the heck...I think he wants me to fail because I'm doing so well.

I can extend my P2 by 7 days and still be in P4 for Christmas. I think that's what I'll have to do. I had a specific number I wanted to end my P2 at. 5 Lbs less than where I am now, but since I lose so slow in round 2 I have to be real strict protocol...

Sounds problematic Why does he insist on you eating specific foods? I guess I am spoiled since my husband is doing this along with me - we eat pretty much the same thing together each meal. We simply don't go out to eat while on P2. Explain to your husband that for the next few weeks it's simply not in your best interest to eat those breaded foods, etc. and how important it is to you.

Just scrape what you can off of the breaded meat and eat a little of it. Find some kind of veggie. Do the best you can, I wish you the best of luck.

Today is my LAST day of VLCD! I'm so excited! Tomorrow I have a transition day, per my doctor's orders. Tomorrow is actually day 26. I get 2 eggs for breakfast, and large steak and hunk of cheese for lunch, and the same thing for dinner. Then Sunday, I'm in P3. I've lost 20.5 for this round, and I am very pleased! I definitely will be back in January (load days January 1 & 2). Oh, and I lost an extra pound after my last injection weight, so as the saying goes, "a little wiggle room."

I've been dream cheating! I told my daughter this morning I didn't want to weigh because I was dream cheating so much! She laughed her head off! LOL! What a blast!!!!

I was down 1.6 this morning, so back down the 1 lb up yesterday and down 0.6 more... not much, but enough to get me to 149.8 (A NEW DECADE) so while I was hoping for more... I will take it!!
