Beef Question on P2

What all meats fall under the category of beef when following P2?
Can you have lean pot roast? Or should you just stick to lean ground beef?
How about sour kraut? Is that considered cabbage?

Thanks for any info!

i do lean pot roast ..with radishes i have boiled several times until they have lost all their color then into a small crockpot with the meat spices and some fat free low sodium beef broth really really is good and helps to be like a real MEAL ya know??
and though i can't eat cabbage on p2(stalls me every time) i did make sauerkraut for my DH on P2 just make sure it isn't the one with sugar and i think you will be good to go

flank steak or any that is VERY lean...I just rarely do beef because I haven't had great luck, but no huge problems either...good luck

top round and sirloin, well-trimmed, are the lowest fat pot roast candidates.
I love chuck roast for pot roasts, but I didn't use them for P2.
