Can I still post here while waiting to go back to hHCG?
I sure hope so...I've been done with HCG since September. Maybe I'm breaking all sorts of rules

Hi everyone, I have sorta been falling off the Red Hots radar and I apologize for not posting more often. Recently I decided to learn to crochet so thats what I do with pretty much all my free time these days. Im not even going to attempt to get caught up but I promise to try and keep up better with you guys! I hope everyone is doing great. I am entering p4 tomorrow for the first time ever and Im really nervous. Not going to jump into it, even though it's Thanksgiving. I am making P3 cheesecake for my dessert and Im going to skip the breads/potatoes. About 4 days ago, I had made chili and cornbread and I decided to go ahead and try it and see what happened......I was up 2 lbs the next day so I guess I wasnt ready...I cant see how 4 days could make a difference so Im really nervous about trying starches again.

I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving tomorrow and I wanted to say that Im very thankful for you guys!

She's great. REALLY enjoying it. It's been a couple of stressful weeks for her because they made her Platoon Guide, so she's in charge of 71 people and 68 M-16s, but she is enjoying the challenge. Her letters are funny and happy and she sounds good when she calls. We will go down and pick her up for Christmas Exodus on Dec 21...can't wait.

Is your HCG prescription or homeopathic, Sandra? Drink drink drink and when you do your lunch, try to make it last a long time. One bite, three drinks, etc.

hey cat...we actually rent a villa so its a private house. we are there for a month this year. my husband is jamaican so we like to stay close to family. i have heard amazing things about the all inclusive resorts and seen them but have never stayed at one. i have heard the sandals are amazing!!! so glad you enjoyed your trip and yes, will do nothing for my weight lol.

the area we stay at is quiet as that is what i prefer, its a residential area. if we want action we go into town...but i tend to like the local beach, local bar, and local restaurant. there is a fishing village right there, and my husband is actually a fisherman from there so we just access local food etc. often dh will just come back with dinner as he has a hard time not fishing while we are there

i will post some photos upon our return.

Sandra, hang in there. Try eating your fruit for a snack before lunch. The hunger will go away when your body switches over to burning its stored fat. It won't be like this but a few days at most. More like a few hours probbly.

Sandra, sometimes people on the homeopathic drops do better with hunger when they adjust their dosage down...(less is more, sometimes). I used RX HCG so I am not an authority on that, but there are a bunch of folks here who have experience with the homeopathic drops...if you would consider playing with the dose to better control your hunger, they can help you.

Hey, Jen! You're forgiven. I can relate to the "just learning crocheting" because I did that for a while a few years back. I learned some basic stitches on Youtube and for a while, I was a crocheting fool. But like all things I do in life, it got old and I lost interest. I think it was mainly because things I was making always tended to want to curl. I couldn't get the hang of it. If I try it again in the future, It will be hard to do LCF and crochet! The two just don't jibe at all.

It's great that you are heading so carefully into P4. And Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

Sounds very relaxing and cozy. And fresh-caught fish that hubby brings back to the house for dinner sounds great, too! We want pics of him holding up his catch, among those you will be sharing with us.

I don't remember if you loaded, but did you? Sometimes people who don't load well have hunger problems in the beginning. And if you loaded, and if you are doing the drops, are you activating them by tapping the bottle against your hand about 12 times before dosing? A little hunger is normal in the first few days but it shouldn't be extreme. I hope things get easier for you!

I don't recall if I posted here yet today. I think this is my first post. I've been quite busy today doing things that were long over-due. I even went to my local gym that I once was a member of and talked with them about a new contract. They are going to see if they can work with me on the monthly rate but I have a one-week-free pass. I can't go before Friday because of the holiday tomorrow but I will make sure I go a couple of times. If they can't work with me on the monthly fee, I don't think I can rejoin. Please pray that the higher-ups have a softening of their hearts when the lady talks to them about me! Winter will be much easier to take with an indoor swimming pool and sauna.

I did a fasting day today because I went off-plan last night (Atkins, remember.) It's always tricky for me when I have a planned day off and it's a few days away. If stress or aggravation come my way, I just want to say, "Screw it! What difference does it make when I'm going off soon anyway." It's that mentality that has kept me from making as much progress as I could have made this year. Still, I'm happy to be making progress, period!

I am going to try and chill for a bit. I still need to go upstairs and work on making at least two more copies of my home video dvd's. It's freakin cold upstairs! The field mice that I struggle to get rid of (that love to live in my walls and Attic) have ruined the insulation up there and it's like being outdoors (well, much colder than downstairs, anyway.) But I promised my sister I'd give her the dvd's by tomorrow and that's all there is to it. I can't not deliver.

Have a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving! I will check in either late tomorrow night or Friday. Peace and stay safe!

i have always wondered about the resorts. the gates are so high and the closest i have come is driving by. a few people i know swear by the sandals and just have the most amazing time, i think its very very luxurious from what i have been told anyways.

dh can talk of nothing else! we really really need a break from winter although coming home will be an unbelievable shock. it will be in the -40, -45 degrees C and unbearable on the skin. its so dry here! i must say my hair is a disaster in the humidity of jamaica but my skin!!! love it i find i adapt so much quicker to the heat than back down to the cold.

it is a beautiful place and i really really need the vacation, its been a long time!

Layla, I know you will both have such an amazing time down there. I hear you on how hard it will be to go back "home." Do you think you might ever live in Jamaica? Ooooooh! Now there's a nice fantasy to have. I may borrow that one for a while if you don't mind.

The resort was extremely nice and very luxurious! They cater to every urge. I swelled like no other down there. Not sure what caused it, but I put on like 15-20 lbs of water weight. My legs swelled to an incredible girth! When I came home I was terribly worried about blood clots and such, and after testing and drs, it finally went down. I have never had anything like that happen to me, and I think it was more humidity related than anything, but not sure of course. But I did love sandals and the resort and the beach and the water activities and such. IT was very relaxing. I hope you enjoy it down there. BTW, the humidity was horrid for my hair too!!

Not hcg related, but does anyone have a herb stuffing casserole recipe? I bought 2 bags of herb bread crumbs (pepperidge farm) and was just going to follow directions. SIL asked me to make a herb stuffing, not corn bread.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Sandra, when I make the stuffing I usually saute about a cup each of celery and onion in butter until they're caramelized and then I follow the package instructions using broth rather than water. I'm not doing the meal this year...my son is. He will do it "the right way", but I do it the easy way
