wow, cheryl, You've had an exciting time. Glad everythings getting backto normal. I guess I don't miss freezing winter weather, Growing up in Chicago and now living in Atlanta. if my power goes out, it's like no big deal. it rarely freezes for long down here.
I'm starting a rogue round today. actually two days ago, this is my first VLCD, but I"ll be calling them Down Days cause I'm gonna experiment with an HCG JUDDD round, just to see what happens. I have a goal weight in mind, but I have a goal date by which I need to take an interruption ( Thanksgiving) so i'll be taking whatever I can get from it. And if I don't do well with this round,I know to what style to move back to to get results I like.

Karlasmom -- thank you for the sweet compliment!
I am really, really looking forward to hitting the weights again in p3. That will be the best part of being in maintenance -- more so than the food, or the skinny jeans, or any of the rest of it.... I use the Intermountain drops from Netrition, and I really like them. I tried the Intermountain pellets, and didn't do as well with them -- though I still use them when I am on the go -- but mainly I use the drops. I used the Yavonae drops at first, and I loved them, but they have gotten very, very pricey of late.

Metga -- good luck on your round! I saw you over on the EFGT thread -- did you abandon that idea?
I'm alternating EFGT days with regular rogue p2 days (which still include coconut oil) -- and it is working well for me. I generally average about 1000 calories a day -- some days lower, some a little higher, but there isn't a real plan there... it just works out that way. |

So, I will see how it goes and let you know. I know that I will need to increase my protein intake or I will lose the muscle. do you have any other suggestions? What do you eat? Thanks for the help![]() |

So I went for my health scale weigh in (done middle of the day, so I don't really count it) and blood pressure check:
wt: 198.8 (vs 199 at home this AM) and BP 120/84 which is almost normal! woohoo! compared to 10/27: 200.6 and 130/90 also my home scale has only .5 gradiations, so 198.8 is 199.... so hopefully I'll be 198.5 in the morning, or not. I was thinking of getting a new scale when I get to 190, but I'm not sure if I'll get there before I go P3.. I guess I'll get a new scale when I get to P3! |

Does anyone take B12 shots during the phases? If yes, how often do you take the shots?

Hexa -- my experiment was to continue to take hhcg, eat a hearty p3, and work out as much as I could manage -- I did put on a lot of muscle doing this, but I also put on some very, very hard to shed fat.
I am having to go to p2 and no lifting to lean out again ![]() Lily -- my EFGT days are generally full fat yogurt, nut butter, and coconut bark (I pour the warm liquid in my yogurt). I pretty much eat once on those days and that is it. On normal p2 days, I eat about 1000 calories consisting of yogurt, fruit, protein powder, meat, eggs, veggies/salad, veggie burgers, etc. I don't really follow a meal plan on those days, but I do keep the calories down. I generally eat some coconut oil every day. I don't eat sugars or starches, but I do get carbs from dairy and fruit. So, this is definitely rogue! When I start p3, I am going to crank the protein way up. I don't need a lot right now since I am not training... The good part is that I don't seem to have lost much muscle this round... what is going is the fat. Last edited by minimonkey; 11-01-2011 at 07:17 PM.. |

Good morning. Well I went totally off plan the last 2 days, let MILs visit and some stress get to me, but as of today Im back on LC. I'm also going to attempt a run today so hopefully my ankle holds up a little bit. No scale for a few days where hopefully I can at least be back to siggy weight. I'm still planning on hitting goal by mid december
Going to go catch up on everyone |

Everyone is doing great! DP, good luck with your run.
Finally, scale moved down a pound this morning. Down to 127.8. Stick, weight, stick! I know I finally have my calories adjusted right for JUDDD, expect to keep seeing downward progress instead of maintenance numbers. Hope everyone has a great Hump day! |

Minimonkey
You mentioned a"saggy" body after your first round of HCG. I have really noticed that myself and was wondering if I should be concerned. I seem to have lost muscle especially in my legs. I do try and do yoga once a week and walk three times a week for about 1 hour. I love to work with weights but just don't have the time to go to the gym. Has anyone else noticed the saggy body after weight loss with HCG? ![]() |

PenPen --
I think the sagginess is just the body readjusting to weight loss -- it happens to a lot of us (there are a lot of older posts on this) -- the skin needs time to adjust and so forth. Time, and exercise, correct this after a while. Rapid weight loss causes more sagging than slower losses do because of the skin needing to catch up, etc. |

Good to know thanks. I really didn't lose that much weight , only about 14 lbs but maybe I need to pull the hand weights out and see what happens.

well -- up .2 today, meaning only a tiny rebound after the losses of the last couple of days -- I'll take it. The loss essentially stuck, and that is a good thing.
Its an EFGT day for me today. Paula -- whoohoo on the lb down! May it stick, and continue to happen! |

This round I will eat more protein and continue to do squats and some weight lifting. I also plan to take B12 shots. I hope this will help me with the energy. My thighs seemed to turn to mush. I was not happy |
