OPINIONS PLEASE: NEAR ULTIMATE GOAL!!!!
So I ended P2 at 134.6!!!! 22.3 lbs lost this round in 33 days!!!
![]() BUT... I need your opinion.. I am only 11.6 lbs away from my all-time ultimate goal of 123.. so, should I just take a week interruption (I ended now because I have company coming this weekend and I was so burnt out) and go back to P2?!?! My loses have been pretty slow.. so I think it will take me a while to lose 11.6 lbs (actually after my interruption it will be more like 13 lbs) OR Should I wait until January and do another round?!?!? Info you might need: This is round 4... I already did a one week interruption this round.. I did take a 6 month break between round 3&4 .. I've lost a total of 60 lbs ... HMMM.. I'm so confused, I really want to be done w/the whole diet thing but really want to get to GOAL!!!! Thanks fellow hcg'ers!!! |

In my experience coming back after an interruption actually boost the losses a little and this is coming from a slow loser anyway. Maybe you could take your interruption and then commit to going back into P2 for a week to ten days and guage how you feel after that and whether you want to continue. If the losses are good continue, if not cycle back into P3 and then try again in the New Year?

Take the interruption and come back and see how the losses go. At least you have already done far more than the minimum # of days and you can go back to P3 at any time and start fresh in the new year if it is not working out or you are simply burned out.

You are in a size 6! Yea for you!!! I would call it goal and be done! I'm not sure of your age or how many kids you've had, but a size 6 at 5'4" is really good, IMHO. I'd surely be happy to be there.Sometimes being on this site makes me want to keep going to make sure I get into that size 8. But, at my age and with ALL the things that I have going on and considering how much I don't like (and don't do well emotionally) on P2... I'll just stay where I am for now. I'm not sure I could take another P2... and definitely not sure my family could take it if I did it! It's possible I might do another short round for Lent next year (don't know how likely, but possible). I guess I'll just have to see where I am in size and life by then. Anyhow... you asked for it... you got it! ![]()

Thanks Debby!!!! I really am feeling done and very happy with my size and weight right now.. but, I'm also the type of person that if I set a goal and it is doable (and I was continuing to lose the weight) I have to accomplish it or it sits over my head and drives me crazy!!! This is one of the reasons I'm thinking just jump back in for another few weeks and get it over with!!!
How's your stabilization going?!?!? |

Hi Emi, I too, have been compared to a bulldog!! Once I have hold of a goal I tend to "do or die". IMHO, you have done beautifully and you are right at finishing this once and for all. If you are feeling good (this is most important) then I agree with what others have said....take the interruption and then go back to P2 and FINISH this thing once and for all!

I'm so glad I read this thread again this morning. Here I am in EXACTLY the same place you were!!! Reading my own "advice" I look and say HUM maybe you should follow your own advice or shut up. I stopped my hcg yesterday. I'm at 167.4. I've changed my goal 2 or 3 times. I initially started out with a goal of 175. I then changed it to 170.....then 165 or 170. I then said 160 or 165. All of this is virgin territory for me. I can't even remember when I might have weighed in the 170's. Had to be in the 1960's????
Soooooo, here I am. I have started 3 folks (my daughter-in-law, dh and a workmate of my dil) on hcg this weekend so I'll be doing whatever I can do to support them. If I need to lose any more weight after P3 and P4.....I think I will do another short round after the first of the year with dh when he does R2! I, like you, am ready to stabilize right now. I do know that dates are just dates and this is a LIFETIME plan so dates really do not matter. Hoping you are doing well and that you continue to have the wonderful successes you have had!!!! Betty |

Hi Everyone... I haven't posted since my interruption and my last week getting my weight back down so I thought I would check in and update you on my lessons learned! For those who don't know my back story.. after 3 rounds and losing 50 lbs I stabilized and lived a "free" non-calorie counting lower carb lifestyle w/out any problems.. no corrections days.. just high protein/no carb days the two times I was outside my window. So.. when I interrupted I tested the waters and introduced foods that worked for me on my last P4 to see if I could eat them earlier than last time.. the more starchier type foods.. FAIL! It didn't work, I was way up and it was difficult to get back down. Although it stinks spending most of my first week getting back down to virgin weight territory I'm happy I did the experiment.. I am grateful for the reminder that for me.. I've got to follow protocol.. every single time I deviate it doesn't work for ME.. great reminder before going into P3 for real in a week.. the most important phase of the plan!!!! Hoping this will help someone out there!!!
