Dawnyama

Hi,

I noticed you have had very good success with your rounds and now are in a similar place as I am (less to lose/close to goal). Would you mind sharing your daily P2 menu since you have had such great success.

Only too happy to share. I am not like Peggy though. I don't eat the same thing every day, day in and day out. I eat what is simple and easy and very very plain. I am out the door to my DD's piano lesson but have some time tomorrow (my day off) to write a few day's worth of menus. Just wanted you to know I have seen this post and will reply when I have more than a moment to sit and respond properly.

First off I should tell you I record everything. I got into journaling my food a while ago and have not stopped during P2 even though P2 is simple. I found that I had trouble remembering if I took my hcg and when and even how much water I was drinking, so I started writing all that stuff down. I found that it really helps. The other thing about me: I belong to bootcamp and have gotten some great tips (sorry but it is against TOS to post a link) from Biz over there. It is a paying service too so I have to be careful in what I post from there. I have learned that the veggies on Simeon's list are quite important because of their properties they possess. Romaine lettuce rivals asparagus for its potassium content and therefore if you want natural diuretics those 2 are the best veggies to use on P2. I have included romaine in this round for that very reason. I knew about the asparagus, but didn't about the romaine. I eat it plain and with the spices I use on my chicken (and salt too!) it is tolerable. It makes me lose so I stick with it. Also a package of romaine can last me all week so once I open it I have to eat it up and therefore am eating it every day. This is the first round I am using so much romaine. Eggs and tomatoes are another meal favorite of mine. I have not used much spinach on this round, but I find that I like that because I can heat it up in the microwave quickly. A bag from the supermarket can last me 3 meals. I like stuff that is simple to put together because I have to cook for my family (we are a total of 6!) as well. All that tempting food they get to eat makes it hard to resist after a while. HTH!!!

Here is a few days of menus:
Day #1

L: 3.5 oz crabmeat (heated in microwave with onion powder and a splash of garlic powder) spread onto 3 large romaine lettuce leaves; 1 Grissini; 1 gala apple
D: 3.5 oz chicken; romaine lettuce; 1/2 grapefruit; 1 Grissini
Drinks: 4 32 oz water, 3 cups of coffee.
Exercise: 20 mins walk with the dog.

Day #2

L: chicken; romaine lettuce; apple; grissini
D: chicken; 1/2 can tomatoes; melba; 8 frozen strawberries mixed with a lemon blended into a strawberry lemonade.
Drinks: 3 32 oz water, 3 cups of coffee
Exercise: 20 mins walk with the dog

Day #3

L: chicken; 3 big pieces of romaine lettuce; 1 apple; 1 grissini
D: shrimp; asparagus; 1/2 grapefruit; Grissini
Drinks: 3 cups of coffee, 3 32 oz water
Exercise: 20 mins walk to pond

Day#4

L: chicken and romaine (3 large leaves); apple; grissini
D: shrimp; asparagus; 1/2 grapefruit; grissini
Drinks: 3 32 oz water, 3 cups of coffee
Exercise: 20 mins walk with the dog

Thanks so much. All great advice !
Question ....How much hunger in between meals is "normal" I feel hungry between meals but never dying. Not sure if I should try a dose adjustment (I do 3 pellets 3x a day) or is this is normal for week 1 or in general??

Thanks Dawn for your sharing.

So you do all of your choices during lunch and dinner. No spreading out of fruit or grissini/melba for between meal snacks?

Yup!! My first couple of rounds I have done the spreading out of foods, but these last few I have not. I just don't have the time any more to do that. It is just the difference between having a job and not I can now barely get in my food in between the drops and 15 mins window we have with those.
