Hey Beachie! I'm good. Just doing my P4 thing. So far so good. I have been taking it really slow...big event coming up on Thursday evening and I think I'm just going to wing it. Eat, drink, be merry...correct if necessary.

I'm really tired this evening. Long day and a little aggravation this afternoon. My allergies are kinda driving me crazy, so I think I'm going to eat, take some benadryl and go to bed. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow...that should give me a nicer outlook on life.

what a wonderful thread, thank you terri for starting this

i am far from goal however, i am down 40 and cycling back into p2 in seven days. my goal for the holiday season is to be *comfortable* in my own skin as well. i am learning quickly that even now, i feel so much better. i can exercise and push myself and feel good doing it. it has made a HUGE difference in how i feel about me, must say, i have gained a ton of confidence and do many many small things for myself...have fun with my hair, started a new skin care regime, wearing clothes i like (not just ones that fit)...just taking care of myself and having fun with it

my holiday plans this year include a month long vacation in jamaica to see my husbands family. i will be happy to feel comfortable in shorts! i also want to be active so we can do all the fun stuff we love there.

im miles closer to that goal today; and i will have more rounds to do when i get home however; i already feel like a different person. last time i went to jamaica, i was so uncomfortable with myself that i just didn't *enjoy* all that i could. i felt self-concious and didn't snorkel or swim because of it. i spent most of my holiday hiding and wearing clothes to cover, not climate friendly!!

not this time! thank you for the inspiration ladies! its so amazing to know that if i stick with it, and truly commit, reaching goal is possible.

im ok not being at goal for my trip, what i do want is to feel comfortable enough to have some FUN!!!! and shock everyone who hasn't seen me in over a year

Boy Layla,
You're going to make some jaws drop in Jamaica! And with your workout routine in full swing you'll look even better then the scale alone can tell. Can't wait for you to join me on P2!!

Okay, okay I’m heading in to change into my workout clothes. Slave driver

Okay workout clothes on. I'll let dinner settle while I report in on VLCD1.
Started with my typical Strawberries and breadstick. Hadn't made any P2 leftovers yet so 1/2 Cup 2%cottage cheese and a bag of homegrown cherry tomatoes for lunch. A little head hunger before lunch but okay after. Dinner, my and DH's favorite P2 Chili with breadstick. Had a big honey crisp apple for dessert. Oh my gosh I couldn't finish it. Quite unbelievable, sure hope this continues! I'll be home late tomorrow so I'm putting cabbage and chicken breast in the Crockpot with some chicken broth and Asian seasoning for kind of an oriental soup. Total experiment, we'll see. Strawberries and breadstick again for breakfast and chili leftovers for lunch.

Sure am glad you're all here doing well and rockin' on

Flat tire. Up .90. Today is no exercise day. Will be interesting how tomorrow looks. I really don't want to, but may have to forego the exercise till the end of the round.

I obviously have a little more bounce in my step today.

I had a good day today. Strawberries and breadstick for breakfast, left over chicken & cabbage soup for lunch and P2 chili, breadstick and Ľ of my leftover Honeycrisp for dinner. I’m a little sore from my double workout Monday, so based on what I learned about soreness, inflammation and water retention I’m not formally exercising today. I did do a lot of quick step walking at work, so I don’t feel like I’m totally devoid of exercise. Hoping for the best tomorrow.

Well I'm down .40 this morning making my average daily loss .93 per day. A little less than round one and little more than round two at this time, so I'm generally happy with it.

Went ahead with me 10 minute squat and lift routine this morning.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

that's really awesome, Terri! My average was only .63 lbs per day and I was super happy with that!

First week loses are always higher. By the time I was done round one was .45 per day and round two was .25 per day. Funny thing is though; I did a 46 day first round and a 34 day second round and lost 4.7% both rounds. It's always interesting to analyze the numbers. Just like statistics of any kind, you can really make them indicate anything you want depending how you present them.

Ah... I get it. I never did a week by week look. I kinda tried not to think about it for the most part. I figured I would lose at the rate I was going to lose if I did the plan and that I really couldn't do much to change that. I also just didn't *like* thinking about it so i didn't.

I got this cool spreadsheet in the beginning that I entered my stats and goals into. Then every day my weight and every week my measurements and it did all these great calculations for me. It's been really neat to look back on and compare rounds. It really helps when you think things aren't going right and you look back at last round, or time of the month per say and see that that's pretty much how it went last time. Keeps you out of the tree sometimes.

WOOT! WOOT! HERE WE GO!
I may be closer to goal but I lose painfully slow (as you can see). You'll be kicking my butt in no time.

I think your plan sounds real smart. What are you loading with? What are you going to do exercise wise?

I did my 15 minute lift/squat today. Dying to do Piliates but don't want a repeat of Tuesday.

ok. plan for loading...im worried im still to heavy on carbs but; coconut milk smoothies in am because i do this already for breakfast...recipes from this forum!! dh baked some chicken thighs with bbq sauce, bacon, and cheese melted on top for lunch. i planned to have that and a salad with homemade vinaigrette (evoo, garlic, balsamic, other spices). then snack on some apples and almonds. then dinner he makes a mean seafood cream sauce and i will do this with pasta, parmesan and more salad. for dessert, some cherry garcia i have been saving in the freezer. i know the sugar but YUM (maybe? lol, i might not enjoy it anymore).

i was going to do this menu both days...hubby suggested taking me out saturday night for one last hurrah at a restaurant...vegetarian lasagna and ceasar salad and a piece of cheesecake hugely appeals to me.

i have my 35% cream for coffee which i will drink throughout the day.

what do you think?? still to carby??

wow my toes hurt But it was for a good cause. I wore one of the pair of hot heels I bought before I felt safe buying new clothes. I then proceeded to never sit down all night long so eeeek. The ballet thing was an enormous success and tremendously exciting fun. Fantastic attendance, great bids on the auction, sponsorships promised, and stunning performances by our dancers. Here's me and a friend:

and me and the prima ballerina (I mean...this kid can dance ) 2nd pic is a phone pic...kind of weird, but Merry looks pretty

YYYUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMM Cherry Garcia, my favorite. Please have one big chocolaty bite for me

A little carby, but this is the time to have the things we miss so we don't feel too deprived the rest of the time. Just try to eat the carby things just to the point of satisfaction and fill up on the protein and fats. And above all enjoy yourself and have a wonderful weekend being treated by your honey!

So for me, I'm down 1.4 making load weight history!!

You might think that's the exciting part, but for me the fact that I did my little work out yesterday and was down 1.4 is the super exciting part. I can do this!!

Now the challenge will be not to overdo it. With my short little routines I don't have any trouble with the energy and I feel so good afterwards. Plus it totally keeps my mind away from "what can I eat?"

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Terri!!!!! that is FANTASTIC!!! Congrats. Um...you're 3.7 lbs from goal...just sayin!

ROCK IT GIRLFRIEND!

as for me...I had wine, cream, and a bite of peanut butter cookie last night at 11:30 pm. I am up .5 lbs...so Stability, thy name is still Debbie. In other completely bizarre news, my daughters pointed out to me yesterday that I keep saying I'm 54, but that it was impossible that I'm 54 because I was born in 1958...so...I actually just turned 53 in August. How weird is that...to lose track of my own age???

Woo Hoo! Lost a year, you puppy you! Makes me the old gal now. I was born in June. I used to think when my Mom had to think about her age [when you asked her] that she was just being silly. Now I have to do the subtraction half the time.

I was thinking about the picture of your girls and how funny that siblings grow up so differently. That's how it was with my brother and me. He was mister body beautiful lived at home till he was 36 and always knew he wanted to be in the coaching field. He is a gymnastics coach. I was always the little fat girl, left home almost the day I turned 18 and didn't care what I did just wanted to make money and my own way. We're close but sometimes have trouble having a light conversation because we're so different.
