WOE: low carb my way
The rule is that you can say what the brand is but not where you purchase them.

cristen...i didn't see the dizzy comment until right now. hope that passes very soon. have you experienced the dizziness before????

ugh...tom...has not been smooth for me while on the drops. feel extremely bloated and the scale reflects it.

i seriously wanted the 140s this round but i think i was too optimistic. i can live with the 150s but this round seems very slow to me. very very slow.

It passed...eating now so I feel TONS better
I am already bored with food...ho hum I'm pretty sure the dizziness was from losing so much, so fast...I was like that the first time

praying for you're 140's but you are right about the 150's
...you know, I was actually surprised my first round how good 150 felt...and I maintained that loss without problem...hoping maybe the 130's will be better for me because the 140's were no good (I liked how I looked, but I just couldn't maintain the loss )

I feel a bit lost here. Seems we have lots of new folks and I'm trying to get a handle on who everyone is. Hope there's still room for one more!

Cristen, looking at your stats, I thought you were one lb from your goal but then you said the 130's were looking doable. What is your ultimate goal weight? Sorry you had the dizzies but I'm glad you are feeling much better now. (Time for a new Avi.)

Layla, I hate when things move like molasses! My first weeks are always wonderful then week two comes crashing down on me. Keep your chin up!

I pressed reset today after being out of control during the entire being without power and the party that ensued when power was restored. I have put some weight back on but I'm not putting a single pound on from here on out. I'm sick of this gain/lose/gain/lose cycle. It never comes off easier though it's "fresh weight."

All told, I'm still down 25.8 lbs from this very day last year, so I can look at that and feel better about it all.

Hope everyone is having an excellent Sunday today.

I probably ought to re-do my stats
I finished a round in September at 140 and maintained that until the end of October, then I inched up and down...after loading last week, I weighed a whopping 151.9 and today, 145. I keep doing this to hold on to 140, but I inch back up. Before I gained all the weight back (again) I decided to do another round and try to find a new set point for my weight since the 140's were a No Go apparently
I am going to try to get to 130-35 and see if that will be a weight I can maintain...just a thought

(Is that better? I fixed the stats, signature, and Avi )

You're doing great Cristen! Love the new Avi! It's like a statement.

I know you know, Layla, that it's typical, not to be discouraged and just your body catching up. But it still blows Tomorrow will be a better day!

Today is the last day of my interruption and second day back on the pellets. Can't wait to get the show back on the road. I gained a couple lbs but know it's more about water than anything, so am trying not to let it bother me too much. Back on P2 tomorrow

Welcome back Cheryl! So what's the plan for maintenance through the holidays?

It's me on top of Mount Sherman (one of our peaks over 14,000 feet) I think Deb tried it or was going to at one time (a conversation a few threads back )

It does feel like you are on top of the world up there...I still need to get our highest peak so I can literally say I was on top of Colorado

Nice job on the updating! It's all becoming clear to me now. You'll find that just-right weight where your body finds it easier to maintain. It's no fun doing a CD as part of your routine. Something ain't right about that. Ya know what I mean?

Hope you enjoyed your interruption, Terri! Those lbs will depart before you know it. As for my plan to "just maintain until the New Year," that ain't gunna fly. I weighed today and although I'm less than I feel like I am, I'm in physical discomfort from being at this weight. I will shave off a few of these lbs before 2011 comes to a close. Not sure exactly how yet, but it's going to get done. I'm thinking about loading at Thanksgiving and then just doing a refeed for Christmas Eve (or Day, depending on which day ends up being a family get-together.)

I may dabble in Atkins between now and Turkey Day. It's all a big up-in-the-air thing right now.

I love your new Avi, too. It reminds me of 1990 when I was standing atop Mount Evans in CO. We drove up there, so nothing to be impressed with! Still incredible to be up so high and to look all around "below."

You guys are so going to see a new decade by Thanksgiving!!!!

Well I'm officially back on P2 today. Wish I didn't have all the parties this weekend. It turned into more of a load then interruption I'm afraid. DH is starting with me so that should make it easier.

I'm going to be cooking for seven, so it will be a challange. But at least I know there will be things there I can eat. I'm having my dad bring pies I don't like What about you?

I was thinking of turkey...but that one is REALLY hard for me Turkey is my absolute favorite...but I should be done right after thanksgiving so I'll wait for the left-overs...or maybe we'll have a non-traditional Thanksgiving I thought about pecan pie because I really don't like nuts and it's my DH's favorite so it'll be a treat for him.
I thought for myself...chicken breast, celery, and melba fashined into dressing then baked apples

Layla

I'm kind a funky today too. Second day today of VLC and down 1.1, which means I'm still up 3.3 from when I decided to call this an interruption. Did more loading this weekend then I should have or planned to. The first couple days getting in the groove and getting past the load weight are always the hardest for me.

The whoosh fairy pays you a visit tomorrow!

Is this your second round? Could be the dreaded R2 affects. You're one of the ones who is into exercise, aren't you? Maybe back off a little on the workouts and see if that helps some.

Sorry you are "kind a funky" too. Dang it! I hate feeling like crap! And I hate when my friends feel like crap! I hope things brighten up in your internal environments fast. And I hope the scale starts doling out rewards tomorrow.

My regain weight is coming back off me and I'm happy about it, but I'm still in the 170's. I feel like I'm carrying a load of bricks when I walk up a flight of stairs. This too shall pass.

Got the jack and jill party this Thursday, then I'm going to start Atkins on Saturday. I decided to do that and just go off plan for Thanksgiving and Christmas, then see what's left to lose on hhcg come January.

Anything we can stick to, anyway we can lose, it's all good!

Well...I am lurking around trying to find something fantastic to make with our four ingredients **sigh** I am already bored
I think I'm going to do something with shrimp today...and figure out if I will have celery, OR onion, OR tomato with it

I couldn't do the 'no mixing' bit with veggies. It was not part of my dr's plan anyway, but it sounded too much like torture for me to even entertain the thought of it. I was fortunate that my Doc's list also contained more veg choices...with so little food, it helped me to have those extra flavors and colors going on.
