who uses splenda in P3? and q about ricotta
Just wondering because I have always used it and like it in baked goods...call me silly but maybe I am just used to the taste. I can deal with the stevia drops but still not a huge fan....the powder stuff makes me gag.
I notice a lot of the sugar free things such as syrups for coffee and pancakes have splenda in them. I would like to make a mock french toast soon (my FAVORITE FOOD) but not such which type of pancake syrup to use. Also I want to start adding back ricotta cheese but all of the ones I have looked at have modified food starch even the full fat. Which name brand do you use? Thank you!! |

I use Splenda in P3 and even a little bit in P2. As far as ricotta cheese, I havent used a whole lot of it, but honestly, when I'm in P3 (this is only my 2nd time), I dont analyze every ingredient in what Im eating. I just absolutely do not eat the obvious starches/sugars. That's just me, and I know that alot of people get super strict and dont eat products with any starches/sugars in them. My *personal* opinion is that Dr. S says in his manuscript that you can eat anything you want and in any quantity, with the exception of sugars and starches. I interpret that to mean: No bread, pasta, rice, highly starchy veggies, nothing with pure sugar as a main ingredient, etc. Basically, none of the most obvious starches, or sugar.
Now that is just *my* way of doing things, and I may look like an idiot to someone else. But I have stabilized beautifully both times I've done P3 so I feel that it works for me, and is unnessecary, again for *me*, to scrutinize every ingredient in what I'm eating.
