P4 Treat....
I want to load...*two days ago*
![]() Since I just got my HCG yesterday, I will stick to my plan to start over the weekend. In the meantime I was craving a treat, so I made this P4 friendly chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and shredded coconut. Yummy and sugar free...and gluten free! Made with Coconut flour! ![]() ![]() |

This is the same cake that I made last Christmas, but topped with choco peanut butter frosting and choc ganache.
3/4 cups coconut flour 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/2 tsp salt ... 1 tsp baking soda 10 eggs 1 cup olive oil 1 cup – 1 1/4 cup honey 2 tbsp vanilla extract method: preheat oven to 325f. prep 2 round 8″ cake pans by coating in oil and lining bottoms with parchment paper rounds. sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl. mix all wet ingredients together with whisk, or hand mixer if you have one. combine wet ingredients with the dry, and mix thoroughly. pour batter evenly into pans. bake for 35-40 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. careful to keep this from over baking, as this cake tends to burn easily. cool for half an hour before carefully going around edges with a knife and inverting onto cooling racks. cool for another few hours before assembly. |

OMG torister!!! Here I am R2P2D4 a long way from another P4 but I know the first thing I'll make when I get there!!! This looks absolutely amazing. I had a stomach stapling a hundred years ago (before I knew anything about hcg) so I can't eat grated coconut at all BUT I would love the recipe that you made last Christmas with choco peanut butter frosting. Would you mind sharing that one as well? Thank you for this delicious treat!!
