I'm supposed to take a break-ugh
I got to my Center MWF for my injections. Wed was my five week anniversary. Today she tells me you have been at this for almost 6 weeks, you are ready for a break. WHAT!!! I like my foods I like my routines. I know I see the posts about P3, but I am TERRIFIED! I am down 25 pounds in 5 weeks and was hoping to lose all 60ish of my pounds by Thanksgiving.
I know I am grateful for the weight loss I have, but man I am on a roll. I don't want to stop. She said I can go 8 weeks, or until my loss starts to slow down. I guess I need to start reading the P3 posts. She said I will eat my same foods, just more of them. So sad right now.

your body needs to adjust do 6 weeks then take 3 or more weeks and do p3 then get right back on p2 do not rush this the weight loss will be permanent , your body needs to adjust and learn how to handle in between rounds ![]() |

My family practice NP made me take 3 or 4 week breaks in between my rounds.... looking back I think it was the right thing for my body!!!!! Heads up.. after three full rounds she made me take a 6 month break... I did P3 and 4 fine.. gave my body a break.. and now I'm back at it!

Dr. S explained the need for breaks and the reasoning in P&I. He spent many years of research so IMHO it is sound direction to follow. It is totally your decision tho. I do know what you are saying for sure. Today is my last day of a 3 week P4 following a 3 week P3. It was hard to go off P2 because I was still losing and still had more to lose. BUT, I decided (for me) that if I was going to do hcg WOE I was going to follow Protocol closely. It has taken me 67 years to get this fat. I can certainly do this slowly and learn how to do this for the rest of my slim life. Good luck whatever you decide is best for you!!
