Interesting Thing about LDW
I'm wondering if I have been so stable these past 10 days of P3, because on the day of my last dose I weighed 129.8 lbs; however, the next day I was 127.8 lbs!! An incredible loss of 2 pounds which was totally unexpected and had never happened before (not after the first initial rapid drop in weight).
Over the course of about 4 days of P3, the weight gradually shifted up to 130.8 (1 lb over LDW), and today I was 130.0. I often wonder if I had made the very next day my last dose, when my weight was 127.8, if I would have still stabilized at 130.0, (which would have been out of the 2 pound window), and then if I would have been making myself crazy trying to get back within that 2 lb window. It's just an interesting thought. I think, for myself, I am going to make sure if I have future rounds, that I end a round perhaps on a stall, or at least not right after a big drop in weight. Just thinking!

I say this over and over to people trying to eek out those last few pounds--LDW is BETTER if it's higher!!!
It's not like you can't say that you've lost xxx pounds or anything. It's just a number that you're trying to stay close to. |

Agree with Shelby (again!!)
If nothing else, just the change in the volume of food you eat between P2 and P3 will add to the physical weight of the food "in the pipeline", so to speak. You can't help but weigh a bit more in P3 because of that, so trying to hang on to the lowest possible LDW is just cause for grief! The way you handled it, Garnet, sounds just right! |

Yes, and don't go get a colonic right at the end either..... artificially lowers the LDW
I noticed that in previous rounds as well, whenever I got close to the mini-goal or the end of the round, I didn't just "hit" and run my goal. It was nicest to be in a stall at the end, actually. Or at least add a few days and be at the weight at least 2 days before ending. |
