Everything feels mushy and jiggly.....
I'll do my best to describe what I'm seeing. When I began the protocol, my fat areas weren't jiggly and cellulite wasn't as noticeable. However, after losing 20 pounds, I now have cellulite on my tummy and more on my thighs. Before the fat felt more solid but now it's very mushy, soft and jiggly.
![]() What's happening to my body. After losing 20 pounds, I'd thought the opposite would be occurring. I hope you understand what I'm attempting to convey. Has anyone else experienced this.... |

What phase are you on? Your body might just need a little more time to redistribute.
Speaking of which - Has anyone lost a very large amount of weight (60lbs or more) doing the protocol? What was your skin like throughout? Did you need surgery to correct flaps? |

i had to laugh as i posted this same question in the red hot girls thread...i wondered if anyone else had this effect.
diva called it the *jiggly poof* i will say this...each time it happens, its just me losing more weight and my skin firms up right afterward. i look in the mirror and think ugh...the next few days-smooth. if we are talking about the same thing, i think seriously its fat cells full of water just being released. mine has gone away each time...if its the same thing i would not worry at all and see it as a good thing, just more waiting to be gone. |

If it's temporary, I agree that it's pre-whoosh water stored in the fat cells.
If it's staying around, then maybe it's about how your body is shaping. Ask Lilac about the body shaper she wears -- she swears it's made a difference in how things have shaped as she's lost her weight, and that it's improved skin tightness also. |

This totally happened to me. When I moved to P3 and stopped the rapid losses, I "re-solidified." So don't freak! It's not permanent jiggle!!

Oh--and rereading your post, had to chime in with this, too--I have NEVER in my life had "lumps" on my tummy before--alas, I am a big butt and thigh girl, but small through the waist. But on the rapid losing part of hcg, I got something that looked like cellulite on my belly and I was HORRIFIED! (I was thinking 'oh NO--the one "good area' of my body is now ruined!!")
I want to assure you that it went away after my weight evened out! It wasn't cellulite--just temporarily loose skin, I guess. Now that I'm prepared, I hope I won't be quite as panicked as I was last time!!

Okay! I was beginning to panic Verbqueen. Like you, the skin on tummy was the one area that was smooth, but I looked in the mirror yesterday and saw cellulite.
Thank you all for your assistance. I'm going to relax now because I do believe it's temporary. I'll keep you all abreast on any changes. |

I have a lot of wrinkles from the fat loss, and I'm sure there is some that will never go away. But it's improved, and I look a thousand times better in clothes than I did before.
Those little bumps under the skin do seem to mostly even out. A lot of jiggle from my thighs has completely gone. I think some things may not ever be fixed without surgery (aka my belly flap), but no one knows it's there under my clothes. |

OMG.. yes, this happens to me!! The lumpy fat is supposedly fat that is breaking up and getting ready to be lost.... plus, with rapid loss the skin needs some time to settle. I do know that I get very mooshy and lumpy before a loss.
I am curious about the body shapers... will need to look into those more seriously. |
