Thanks, Dawn! Hope things are going well for you.

Well... that day did not work like I wanted. I was only down 0.6 lb, instead of the 1.4 lb I was hoping for. Plus, I was hungry all day... not terribly so, but still hungry. Oh well... I am happy for the 0.6 lb, but it's looking like I'll have to stay on P2 a little longer than I wanted. Of course, you never know what might happen, right?

So, strange thing about today... it was a busy day... in fact so much so that I forgot to take my drops this afternoon. I really haven't been that hungry today, except for really wanting my apple in the morning. I'm really curious to see what tomorrow brings.

Now off to cook up some ground beef and chicken. Then dishes and on to bed!

Down another pound today to 131.8! Woohoo! Maybe leftovers from my mini-steak (hamburger) day. Who knows? Also, I only took 2 doses of HCG yesterday (forgot my mid-day dose). Could that be it? Don't know, but I'll surely take it. Only 1.8 more pounds to get to goal. I am SO excited. That seems doable by Sunday. Counting down the days.

If I actually hit it before then, I'm not sure what I'll do. We have a function on Sunday, so I'd really rather be on drops. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Anyhow, I'm SO glad that I got my old brand of drops. I really think that has made the difference.

Well... I guess I've hijacked my own thread and made this my journal. Hope that's okay.

You may want to continue on the hhcg for a few days after reaching your goal. I know you are chomping at the bit to quit, but think about it. If you stop right at 130, you are leaving the possibility open to go above your goal when you hit P3. I am just saying you may want to have your weight stick a bit before heading into P3, where it can jump all over the place. Since you are stable on P2, it won't be but a couple of days with the drops to help 'seal the deal' so to speak. Spoken from someone who cannot stick with her LDW to save her life LOL. But not this round, no way no how am I not going to make this one stick!!!

Best of luck to you!!!

Thanks, Dawn, for your encouragement and your input. It is much appreciated. Actually, my original thought was to try and stabilize no higher than 135 which is why I wanted to go for 130 (since last time I stabilized about 5 lbs above my LDW). BUT, now that I'm here I am liking this lower number.

So... would you try to keep losing past the 130 or up your calories a bit so as to try and stay at 130 for a few days?

Oh, well then!! That is terrific news!!! You can do it several ways. You can do the 500 calories as usual or you can follow Dr S's way of upping your calories to 800 a day. I have seen this in bootcamp and what Biz suggests for the extra 300 calories is fat. I was in heaven when she suggested this to me before. I went for 3 TBL of mayo (1 TBL is 100 calories) and made myself a dressing. I mixed the mayo, mustard, a bit of sweetener and cayenne pepper. Yum!! I was so loving it!! I could have done that for a good long while. Or you can get the 300 calories from another fat. I would do that for a few days (meaning 3!) before quitting the drops once I got to my desired weight.

Thanks again, Dawn! I'm hoping to be able to do this, but at this point I don't know how much longer I can hang on. I was only down 0.2 lb this morning. Yesterday was a stressful, crazy day, and I did NOT sleep well last night at all. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't stop thinking about when to end this round and about going into P3 and stabilizing. Crazy! VERY tired today. Will not make any decisions today. Gonna do my best not to cheat today as well... feeling very weak-willed today. I'm sure I won't cheat because I know the consequences, but my mind keeps tempting me.

Anyhow, I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the 130 or be happy where I am. Weighed in at 131.6 lb this morning. So close, but yet so seemingly far. We have a family party/gathering next Saturday (Oct. 8th), and I really want to be in P3 by then. Also, I'm feeling worn down (lack of sleep does NOT help). Plus, today is my DH's last day at work. I know it is a hard day for him, and consequently for me.

Plus, I think TOM might come soon. It's supposed to come (I just realized) either Monday or Tuesday, but I started spotting a bit yesterday. Gotta love peri-menopause (NOT). So... how does ending a round about the time of TOM work? Should I end it now or after it starts?

Just thinking out loud here... and trying to get some stuff off my chest and my mind...

Well... yesterday I had no loss. This morning I was down a pound to 130.6. I'm thinking/hoping tomorrow will be my last day on drops. We'll see what happens in the morning, but that's my plan. I may get to call goal! It still seems a little unbelievable. Hasn't really sunk in yet, I guess.

Thanks, Paula! Today is supposed to be my last day of drops, and I was up 0.2 lb. I've been reading on the boards here that it's good to end on a stall (for stabilization purposes). I guess that means it would probably be good to end on an up day as well. Not real happy about it. Was hoping to get closer to the 130 number. But, I suppose that doesn't mean I won't make it after I stop my drops. And... if I end at 130.8, then I have a nice whole number (133) for needing to do a CD. (sigh) Don't know if I'll wait and see what my weight is tomorrow or just call it good. Thoughts anyone?

Well... I decided yesterday was it. No drops today. This morning I'm up 1 whole pound! But... I know that it's because TOM is starting today. I just have to keep reminding myself of that throughout the day. I'm hoping that by the time I'm done with my VLC no drops days this TOM weight will be gone.

Well... lost that pound today. Back down to LDW. 36 more hours of P2 to go!
