Anxious to start R2

Well, here I am 3 weeks into P3. I have gained 4 pounds back and I am getting really nervous. I am very carefully watching what I am eating but I know I've over done it on some carbs.
Anyway, my question is, how soon can I start R2? I have seen some that say wait 6 weeks, some say stay off as long as you were on, and other articles that say anytime after 3 weeks is OK as long as you are taking the homeopathic drops. I really want to start back on the HCG, but I don't want to mess myself up.
I never thought I would be so very anxious to start a diet--LOL--the magic of HCG, I guess.
Has anyone started back after only 3 weeks?
thanks,

Chris

I do believe you can start again around this time but I am by no means an expert. Hopefully someone will chime in who is!

I know what you mean though, I am anxious to begin another round myself!

Three weeks of P3, three weeks of P4 -- the six weeks is to let your body reset at its new weight, and adjust the hypothalamus. Future rounds are supposed to be longer. Read that chapter of P&I for more info.

Some don't do this, and instead cycle back and forth between P2 and P3, or do shorter phases -- IMO if it's your first round, it's worth doing it by the book. Time later to test out variations, if you feel like it!

I agree with porkfatrules!!! I am soooooo anxious to start round 2 also!!!
Sept 25 will be the last of my 6 weeks since I was on p2. I load that day and I'm hoping round 2 will be as successful as r1!! When would be your 6 weeks, Chris?

I'm on R2P2 and was only on P3 for twenty days, one day shy of three weeks. I didn't stabilize well either, my weight was all over the place and I had done seven CDs. I'm using hhcg pellets and thought I had read somewhere that the minimum the break should be was three weeks. My LDW was 195.6 and after two days of loading, it went up to 207.4. I'll make sure to take the recommended eight-week break between rounds two and three and already have a plan on how to stabilize well in P3. Good Luck!

Every day this diet never fails to surprise me at the variety of reactions we all have to the phases. I started R1 load on July 3. I'm taking sublingual drops. 2 Load days up to 228. 43 days on P2 down to LDW of 197. After now 21 days of P3 my lowest weight was 192.4. Today, day 7 of P4, I'm at 192.0. This is a new journey for me. I have been able to eat stuff that before would have put 5 pounds on overnight. I pray this reset has occurred!!!!
I'll go to r2 on 9/25, that'll be 6 weeks. I have no idea why this has worked for me. Wish I did. I have followed protocol and had NO cd's. Hope it continues. Chris you are doing great! I'm anxious to follow you and watch you get to goal!!!

When I move to P3, I'm going to do things a lot different. Incorporating exercise and watching dairy are always what work for me. This last P3 wasn't successful for me at all. Live and learn.

Yep, this is what I was referring to, I wanted to cycle myself but was advised against it since I had done such a long round. Although I was anxious and nervous to be off P2, I have stabilized very well. I am loading (low carb this time, but still high fat as recommended) on 9/24 and 9/25 and will begin VLCD on 9/26. No way I am doing another 90 days but I plan on at least 40, or however long it takes to get to me to goal - which currently is only 25 lbs away!

Wow, thanks for all the input. I know I should probably wait a little longer--BUT--Oct 1st is my nephew's wedding day and I would love to be at least 10 pounds lighter by then. What a quandry.
If I wait the 6 weeks, that will take me to the day before the wedding to start the VLCD--oh, that would not work-LOL!
I think I am going to take the chance, start loading today and begin R2 on Monday. That way, by the wedding I will hopefully be thinner and have the momentum of the VLCD going so that it won't be too tough at the reception.
OK, made the decision, hope this works--I'm gonna go eat something--(definately low carb as you mentioned,Lilac)

thanks,

Chris

Chris, I wish I had not followed the rules of waiting so long after my second round--I was the incredible gaining woman (after stabilizing really well after my first round) so that by the time I WAITED through the 3 weeks of P3, FIVE weeks of P4 (because it was after the second round) I had gained back 14 (FOURTEEN!!) of the 22 pounds I had lost. I felt that was wasted time.

But I was very protocol-minded back then, and suffered through this unrelenting weight gain, where correction days didn't work and it was just such a vicious cycle.

So I am an example of someone having done the protocol very rigidly, with unexpected results. Go for the weight loss! If it doesn't work out with stability in the end, you can always lose it again!

Thanks, Garnet--I'm gonna go for it! It looks like you have had some great success, congratulations!
