White Castle Hamburger Pie Question

Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes

Do you think I could use Lactaid milk (or almond milk) in place of the heavy cream? I am lactose intolerant.

TIA

I'm guessing you're in P3 or P4, right? The recipe is really delicious (a kid favorite in my house!) but too fatty for P2. You probably knew that . . .

Anyway, I believe you can bake with both lactaid and almond milk -- if you use the almond milk, watch for the sweetened or flavored sort, which would taste pretty bad with this recipe.

I am in P3 tomorrow. And thanks, I got unsweetened almond milk and also have Lactaid in the fridge.
