White Castle Hamburger Pie Question
Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes
Do you think I could use Lactaid milk (or almond milk) in place of the heavy cream? I am lactose intolerant. TIA |

I'm guessing you're in P3 or P4, right? The recipe is really delicious (a kid favorite in my house!) but too fatty for P2. You probably knew that . . .
Anyway, I believe you can bake with both lactaid and almond milk -- if you use the almond milk, watch for the sweetened or flavored sort, which would taste pretty bad with this recipe. |

I am in P3 tomorrow. And thanks, I got unsweetened almond milk and also have Lactaid in the fridge.
