Learn from my mistake, don't cheat

I had nachos Monday and just now I am back to where I was that morning weight wise. It took me 4 days to lose the 2 lbs I gained from it. Whether it was water that I gained or not, it still took some time for my body to start losing again.

Oh, and I have been hungry since then too. Arg. I wasn't hungry before.

...I know, I know...been there, done that I also "think" it caused me to gain the weight back after P4...the one time I did not cheat is the only time I kept the weight totally off...I tried it two more times and went rouge and wasn't able to maintain the loss I'm really not sure why, so I'm white knuckling it thru (hopefully my last round) in hopes I maintain the loss this time

...AND....I cheated on bad food once also and was also starving after.

I know this changes each time and for each person...but I agree with you on cheating...so not worth it

A good reminder. Unfortunately, for most of us, until we do it ourselves and suffer the consequences from it, we don't usually learn. I have BTDT!!

At least you're back down!! That's great!!

Climb back on the wagon and you'll be okay.
a little slip, not a big fall.

Cheating is why my last few rounds failed. I felt like I was going in circles and never even attempted to stabilize. I am more than determined to stick it out this time through P2 and P3 with no cheats.

I agree. As you can see from my signature I had about 5 cheat days at random times during my P2 phase. I just had a longer P2 and made it to my goal eventually!

When someone asks me about this diet I always tell them that it is not forgiving. If you cheat it can set you back a week.

Fortunately because of my knowledge of this, I have not cheated, lol. I've done two rounds and they've both been a challenge to me. It was never worth it to cheat knowing it may cost me an extra week. NOW, on Round 2, I will say that I was a french fry tester for Sonic one day, but, I accounted for it, and stayed within my 500 calories for that day. It is the only time I strayed. Fortunately, I did not have a gain, but I think it was because I stayed within the 500 calories.

I hope you feel less hungry soon! I know it is frustrating to have to lose weight already lost, but you know you can do it.

We're going to eat out tonight (I'm still on the VLCD), but this post was a good reminder to me to stick with what I know.

I "learn" this lesson at least once every round. Very frustrating.

Also agree, move on and keep doing the right thing. A mistake doesn't mean you're giving up, just we're human!

Seriously, I was compensated for being a french fry tester. That is why I couldn't turn it down. I was paid $20 cash, and a $20 Sonic gift card for about 45 minutes.
