*heavy sigh* same weight as yesterday...total of only a .2 loss since the 27th.

I accidentally had the same protein for both meals. Also, maybe I didnt drink enough water (but I think I did).

Still no TOM. Still no ...bm (sorry for the tmi).

Had to mix a new batch of hcg and now I am wondering if I did something wrong.

I am feeling discouraged, but I will keep going.

Good for you! I just checked and 100 grams of protein comes out to just a tad over 3.5 ounces, so if your scale doesn't weigh that closely, you might want to get one that does weigh in grams. You could lose muscle from not getting enough protein, and while that would show on the scale as a loss, it's just the fat you want to lose. Just a thought.

Checking in with a 0.4 loss this morning, my usual steady burn. Next minigoal is 132, which I haven't seen since 1994. I hope I don't hit a set point stall there, but it will be what it will be. I'm on my way down and that's what matters.

Well...hmmmm....today I am up 0.4. I know I didn't drink enough yesterday, but when I look at the last 4 to 5 days, I have been going up and down around this weight of 132. I did stabilize after round 3 at this weight, so I don't know if this is what Simeons would refer to as stalling at a previous weight, but I hope that is the case.

I'm trying to drink more today, and I'll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Yikes. I just discovered I had TWO vials of hCG in my fridge--one from 2 months ago and one I just made up 2 weeks ago, but I can't tell which is the fresh one. So perhaps I've been using hCG that wasn't potent this past week or 2?

I dumped both vials and just made up a fresh one. I hope that was it!

DH wanted Mexi food so I went along (like I have a choice)

Ok, I am a day late but thought I would jump in here and join. Today was a loss of .2 and hoping tomorrow will be much better. I have only lost 1.2lbs so far this week and was hoping for at least 3lbs per week so hoping it will come off by Monday.I am currently on day 10 of round 1.Good luck everyone.

Good job Violet!

So, why did I lose nothing this morning? VLCD #5 today and I have lost 8 lbs. so far. I know that's great but didn't expect to see a 0 loss so soon. The only thing out of the ordinary was a packet of Splenda. Could that be a culprit?

Today's menu:

Shrimp, cucumbers, melba, orange
96/4 ground beef burger, tomato slices, grissini, apple

Checking in with a 0.2 gain this morning. However, I made the mistake of drinking the juices from my broiled fish at dinner yesterday and they were horribly salty. I am assuming this is water weight, or at least I hope so! Tomorrow should show a drop if it is. I have to go to a doctor's appt. so have to run. Have a good day everyone!

Whew! Down 0.6 lbs today, but I've been hovering around 132 for the past 5 days. I hope, I really, really hope, that tomorrow brings another loss, and not an increase of 0.4 lbs, which is the way the last few days have been going.

Unfortunately, I am noticing that I am not having the reshaping I thought I would. I'm only about 5 pounds over my last round's LDW, and yet my pants (which were very loose last time) are actually fitting well to a bit snug. When I regained weight, it went right back onto my hips and thighs.

I keep wondering if the intramuscular injections of hCG might be different, because this is what Dr. Simeons actually did and upon which he based his observations.

Oh well. Just have to deal with it! It is what it is.

Hello Everyone! I stayed exactly the same as yesterday, but I'm not concerned. I looked at my weight log from Round 1 and in my 49-day round - I gained seven days (not in a row) and stayed the same two. It happens and it doesn't bother me. However, I do have a bm every single day (sometimes twice a day) so those of you who are *backed up* - I'd suggest psyllium husk or fiber capsules. Also, lots of water.

In the past, 5 pounds meant a whole size for me. I lost inches and pounds on P2, but the actual reshaping (where fat is moved from one location to another) didn't take place for me until P3. I did SQ injections in my first round and am doing hHCG this time and feel much better on the Intermountain homeopathic version. Weight loss for me is the same either way.

I found I had to eliminate table salt of all kinds and take additional potassium to minimize swelling, and don't seem to be experiencing that now. The additional homeopathic support in the Intermountain formula seems to be helping with my insulin resistance and insulin levels as my blood sugars are much better now, eating the exact same foods as I ate on P2 in round 1.

Insulin is the hormone that converts carbs to fat. If you are eating the grissini/melba toast, you could try eliminating those. Cutting out oranges and apples could also help, as both of those stimulate insulin release more than strawberries or grapefruit. You might want to experiment to see if any of that helps.

Checking in with a 0.6 loss today, which puts me 0.4 under where I was before I had the water gain yesterday from drinking the salty fish juices. Hopefully tomorrow will continue the trend. Have a great day, everyone!

I am happy - .5 down overnight - add that to the .3 of the day before and I'm almost down another pound! This week seems to be picking up speed - I've had some odd sensations this week - the freezing one and also a couple hours of sweating! And on Monday I was full of nerves and energy, which I didn't like but seems to kick off this most recent loss, so I guess I'll take it.
Now I'm in a quandry - I was planning on next Tuesday (the 6th) being my 1st P3 day but if I'm losing at a good rate I almost want to keep going and see how much lower I can get.
Pros to doing this another week: new, lower set weight, can still manage P3 and P4 (I have some events/activities coming up that I need to NOT be doing P2 during).
Cons: I am very bored on this WOE! Very. I am looking forward to P3 BIG TIME! Last P3 I did I really did a lot of reshaping. That's when I dropped a size. And what if I do an extra week and nothing happens? Also, the sooner I'm done w/P2 and P3 and P4 the sooner I can go back on and the quicker to goal. Maybe?

I have no idea what my body is doing. Two days ago I was down 1.5 yesterday was up 1.3 and today down 2.2! Ive been eating the same things that I have all along so I don't understand the crazy fluctuations. I have 1.1lbs to go before I switch to P3. Do I need to wait til my weight stops jumping around before I move into P3?

Well, I was down 1.2 and now I'm up 1.6 - what the heck? I'm on program so it must be water retention. Not going to break - keep on the program. I start P3 maintenance on Wednesday so I want to get as low as I can this round.

It's possible Pattie. When I did Round 1, there were a couple days where I used Splenda and half and half in my coffee and it didn't affect me. The days I had the gains, I was 100% on protocol. Weird. It will come off. KUTGW!
