Hi y'all - today's my first P3 day and it's harder than I expected to plan what I eat!! I'm up to 1100 calories in my planner and really don't know what else to add that's ok. I guess I could cook up some bacon later. I'm just scared to death to add anything that's going to send me off the rails. P2 was hard and I don't want to lose my progress. Geez.

I second the motion to create a "P3 or so" thread.

Full fat greek yogurt, specifically Fage is 270 calories. It is also high in protein and fat. You could add some berries to it. I also like full fat blue cheese dressing on my salad, if you are having salad. Edited to mention almonds, just careful with the portion.

Thanks Marie - I've read differing things about dairy. Some people jump right in; some say to add it slowly. You think it would be ok to have some on the first day of P3? I do have some in the fridge, and some fresh blueberries.

I do. This is R2P3 for me with no correction days YET this round or last. I've never read that about dairy. I didn't discovered the greek yogurt until this round, but, I've had it daily sometimes twice. Enjoy P3. I love it!

I'm in the "or so" category as well. I am so close to my goal that it's hard for me to go ahead and move on to P3. I would if I was allowed to continue losing, but since I am so close I will hang on to P2 for a few more days and see if I can lose the last 1.5 pounds.

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to P3 Heather!!! The fastest way for me to add calories is Salad dressing. I think and have heard that Greek Yogurt (full fat) is the least threatening of the dairy products. I personally don't have a lot of problems adding cheese right away and long as I don't eat 1/2 pound a day. You probably think that would be difficult.
Don't forget, this plan is like nothing else we've ever done, so don't try and treat it like the old days. If you want to maintain your loses, you must eat!
This is such a sacrifice!

I'm still hanging on to P2 another day "or so". Did a down day yesterday (can't go too low or I stall) about 725 calories and was down .2. Doing an up day today (basically P3) target 1200-1400 calories hoping to inch ever closer to goal.

Do you guys want to start a new "P3 or So" Thread, or hang here (if you don't mind Michelle)? Speaking of, what are you doing Michelle?

Hope everyone has a great and successful day!!

Maybe we could be like those "Firecracker Girls" and "Hot Hot Girls" and make a "Labor of P3" thread for those of us starting P3 around Labor Day. The title isn't quite as exciting as those other thread names though . . .

I'm all for starting a new thread because right now I don't feel like I "fit in" with any of the current ones, and I need a support thread.

I'm still hanging on to P2 for now. I'm at a set-point, and I'd like to get a couple of pounds beyond it before I go to P3. That means I could be in P2 for at least another week or two though, so I'm not sure what to do.

How about Laboring into P3 "Or So" ? Kind of fits the struggle we're all going through at the moment as well as timing.

Michelle you totally fit in, we're all on the cusp, that's the fun of "or so". Together we'll get each other through!

Yup yup...you're my HCG twin here. I'm open to the idea that my body could be more cooperative than I imagine it to be, but I'm prepared to wait it out. Trying to avoid developing a bunker mentality about this particular set point, but it's not easy. I just spent five days 1 lb above it...which maybe that was the battle and the 144 that I'm on today is not really gonna be that big a deal. But I bet it is
