No loading?
Hello everyone!
I finished my first round of liquid hgc and have been maintaining for 6 weeks now. I lost 21lbs in 30 days first time. I would like to do another round soon to loose another 15-20lbs. Problem is I am dreading the gorge days!! I remember how awful I felt back then and dont think I could do it again. My eating habits have changed now especially my portion size. Has anyone ever gone another round without gorging? I know it is to help with the hunger the first few days of the low calorie diet, but I really have to remind myself to eat sometimes and I dont think that is the issue. Thanks for any info you may provide! |

Are you following the original protocol...read Pounds and Inches?
I would not suggest you starting without loading...focus on healthy fats...make it high fat - low carb |

A lot of people have massive hunger issues on VLC when they don't load.
I find that if I steer clear of excess carbs, loading isn't gross. My favorite loading foods: guacamole with celery olives chicken thighs eggs. One day I like scrambled eggs with chipped beef gravy on them, but more eggs than gravy. salad with real full fat dressing. A couple bites but not a lot: mac and cheese the chipped beef gravy on the eggs a couple crackers with the guacamole, but I do 3/4 celery and 1/4 crackers. The point is, in my experience, ease WAY down on the carbs and it isn't gross. ETA forgot a favorite... beans, either hummus or cooked beans with venison and onion, or texas caviar or a legume salad. I like a handful of nuts or some no sugar almond butter on celery, too. Last edited by emel; 08-26-2011 at 06:50 PM.. |

Definitely try fat loading and not carb loading. And if full, stop eating. Last load I was full at lunch on the second day, and only had one hot dog (not bun) for supper. No reason to eat when full! I probably wouldn't even had eaten that except I was at a party.

I didn't load this time and I have felt great. Very little hunger this round. It's the first time I did it without loading first.
However, I am doing the OWL plan not the orig protocol. I am sticking to the 500 cals, but I eat popcorn instead of the grissini and mixing veggies. |
