Protein Shake?

I see that some of you have a protein shake - maybe as meal replacement? Sometimes I have no time to eat and would love something quick and easy - for those unplanned times. Any info on product or recipes would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I've come upon a strange meat aversion lately and I've been drinking Designer whey protein with cocoa powder and ezsweetz. It's 14g of protein and 100 calories. pretty thin, but I have survived a few days because of it, and got some good energy and a nice drop yesterday.

I didn't end up using them, but when I was concerned about the travel days on my vacation in P2, my Dr. told me it would work ok if I used the Myoplex low carb premixed shakes. My Army bound daughter has been using them up for me since I bought them and didn't use them. She said they are yummy.

I go through periods of time where I can't eat meat either!! So I eat more veggies for a few days. I have wanted to try the protein shake as well! Or an egg cream.

I have been known to make pork rind french toast with a couple T of Whey protein powder to sub for protein as well.

My meat aversion was for the lean meats like the beef, chicken and fish. But if I could have eaten a fatty steak it would have been no problem. I was really craving fat and I guess since the meat was really lean I couln't make myself want it but I was hungry enough to eat. Since I'm trying to keep my protein steady, the shakes were perfect. Even with only water, it feels yummy to my mouth and filling enough to my stomach, and enough protein that I was able to get over the fat craving. Lucky for me I'm counting down to an interruption.

the Designer Whey says 100cal. 1.5g fat, 2g carb, and 18.5g protein, so it's just 2g shy of the protein in a meat serving.

Thank you for your responses! Looks like WM has the Myoplex - I'll check it out today. Like I said - I just want something on stand-by.

Thanks!

There are a couple of different shakes that I have used during P2 and P3:

Both are 110 calories and 25 grams of protein:
Jay Robb and Genuine Health Proteins Plus

Now that I am on P3, I make protein smoothies for breakfast or lunch.
Mix with frozen fruit and unsweetened almond or coconut milk....place all in blender... quick, simple and easy and as hot as it has been here...quite refreshing

I also mix in a half serving with Biz's Smoothie for a little extra protein.
