Way too much time on my hands!

Eggs don't keep me full as long as meat does, but I'll eat eggs when I'm sick of meat.
I use mustard often, especially as a salad dressing ingredient. |

yes to the mustard! Just check the label on your container and make sure it doesn't have any sugar or corn syrup. Most do not, but some of the flavored mustards can have goofy stuff in it. I do use egg white off and on, and have enjoyed the one whole egg, plus whites a couple of times. I love eggs and it made me happy to have that.

I would stay away from the egg substitute and just use real eggs/whites. The substitutes don't have the vitamins/minerals and protein that a real egg does. Remember...you'd be eating them in place of a substantial piece of meat (3.5 oz of chicken/beef) so you want it to have good nutritional value or you'll be hungry right after eating it.

I use eggbeaters whites, but not the yellow kind.
Sometimes I have chicken broth and a fake quiche of eggbeaters whites, onion, and garlic and tomato with either broccoli, asparagus, or spinach, counting the tomato as fruit and adding a couple slices of room-temperature tomato to make up for the amount of tomato the fake quiche doesn't need. Sometimes I use 2/3 cup eggbeater whites and one whole egg and then normal veg and fruit choices. |

The egg beaters whites are 100 percent egg whites, pasteurized so you can use them in protein shakes if that is something you want at some point. I haven't had any trouble with them at all. When I eat an actual egg plus extra whites, I always use the Egg Beaters Whites with a regular egg. Can't make myself throw away the yolks.

I am glad I saw this about the eggbeaters. I had some this morning but it just didn't seem like enough. I think I will add a whole egg to it next time.
I made a protein shake with frozen strawberries, vanilla whey protein power, a cup of water and a whole lot of ice cubes. My protein powder has stevia in it. |
