MG's HCG Journal August 19 to ??
Ok, so I'm a few days late starting this, but I was confused as to where to journal/blog on this site...so here goes.
Two years ago I was at my highest weight of 189...I did a month of low carb and lost 10 pounds. I tweaked my diet and decided to "carb cycle". I ate 2 straight weeks of VLC of only fruits and Veg and then "carbed up" on the weekend. Anything I wanted. This worked like magic for me. I started to incorporate beans for protein and with my veggies and continued to eat whatever on the weekends. It seem the "badder" I was the better my weight loss during the week. So from February to July I went from 180 to 153 following this plan. I slowly added in carbs, but was always back on my plan if I started to gain. This spring I've creeped up 10 pounds and would really like to get to my goal weight of 135. A friend and I were cross-border shopping in Michigan and came across the HCG Fusion in The Vitamin Store. We bought the 15 day spray as we weren't sure but now with all the info here I wish I bought more. Oh well, at the end of this week I guess I will order some on-line from Low Carb Canada. |

My two load days made me feel completely sick and I was sure I gained 10 pounds...but I wasn't even up 2!
So today is the first day of 500 calories but so far so good. I spent some time cooking this morning, cooked 2 chicken breasts in my version of "taco" seasoning, made "chili" and also some ground beef in "taco" seasoning. And packed it all away in the fridge so I don't stress out this week. So here is what I'm eating today: Orange Apple Chili Steak asparagus Drinks have been hot water with lemon, vanilla flavored black coffee, and water |

Well I was thinking maybe I ate too much beef (lunch and dinner)...but steak has always been my friend and we had those "Cowboy Steaks" that are preseasoned...it was delicious...but also I was starving LOL
So I'm down 3 pounds this morning... Have a great Monday! |

Today's food:
1/2 grapefruit fried cabbage with chicken breast and hot sauce (yum) Strawberries Fish and spinach (I think) and zero calorie Italian dressing I have had my bread yet - which would be the GG brancrisp which is only 12 calories a slice. I'm kinda afraid to eat it...thinking maybe I should save it for when I get really hungry...or I am doing myself out of allowable calories....hummm? |

Hi MuskokaGal,
You are off to a great start! I have never heard of the HCG Fusion spray. Is it controlling your appetite yet? Your menu looks great. Welcome and keep up the good work! |

Today I'm down 0.6 pounds. I was hoping for more but I'll take it.
However, I woke up starving. I may have to incorporate the GG brancrisp today. As I start work early (6:00 a.m.) lunch is a long ways away. I've been having my fruit at 7:30...as going 6 hours without eating is way too long. I did have my tea with 1 tbsp of milk this morning to try and curb the hunger a bit |

Read the label on your spray. Does it have HCG in it? It should say something like HCG....6x,12x,30x,60x. Some of those over the counter items (I've heard) don't have actual HCG in them. They’re are just somehow supposed to boost your own HCG.

Okay so of course work is out of control this week. Thank goodness I precooked some food. Here is what I'm eating today:
1/2 grapefruit one brancrisp with Waldenfarms spread zucchini with chili orange shirataki chicken noodle soup I decided to follow the less strict plan..which is still pretty strict. I won't eat all my "bread" allowances but keep them for when I'm needing a little extra. This morning was awful...but this afternoon is much much better ![]() |

I looked it up on-line and this is how it's listed on the package: Note "hCG stimulating". It also mentions several times that it is hormone free. I'm no pro, but I would suspect there is no actual HCG in the product. That may be the reason you're experiencing hunger.
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) Glycopeptide Stimulating Proprietary Complex: L-Arginine**, Acetyl-L-Carnitine**, L-Ornithine**, L-Lysine**, Chaste Tree Berry**, Dong Quai Root**, Wild Yam Root**, Green Tea Leaf Extract**, Yerba Mate Extract**, Black Cohosh Root** |

Thanks for that...I asked for it by name and that is what the lady told us...and they couldn't keep it in stock. But once I got home I thought maybe it's not...it all get very confusing.
So what should I order next time...is there a certain brand that is the best, and I am in Canada. Of course I will finish out this supply. Thanks again for your help! |

You could do a web search just check out the ingredients well. I get my pellets from Netrition.com (this website) mine are Intermountain. I've been real happy with their products and service (they're going to start owing me commission soon
) I don't know if they ship to Canada or not. |

Weight today 162.8
![]() So that's a 5 pound loss since starting VLCD in 3 days. I didn't wake up hungry this morning but I am shaky and my heart is palpitating. I'm hoping there is not a caffeine-like stimulant in these supplements as I have to be careful with my heart racing. Today's plan is to eat the "bread allowances" to see if I can curb these shakes. ![]() |

Congrads on the loss!
Very likely your body is reacting to the very low calories. Without the HCG to pull energy out of your fat stores to live on, that's really too low to survive on. Dr. Simeon's actually warns about that in Pounds and Inches. Have you read that book? If you haven't, you really need too. You can down load it for free off the internet. Just Google Pounds and Inches Pdf. Hopefully you'll get some real HCG soon and that will really help. |

Today is 1000 times better than yesterday. I'm reducing the sprays to 2 instead of 3, maybe it's too much for me as I'm very very sensitive to medication, alcohol, caffeine, anything really.
Here is what I'm eating today: Orange Brancrisp with Waldenfarms spread Taco meat with asperagus Apple Brancrisp chicken and green peppers |

I am in canada I used the intermountain drops and have the pellets and used the Vox pellets success with both brands but I know when I ordered it took almost 2 weeks for me to get my hcg so you may want to order early so you don't run out.
Congrats on the losses. |
